Holiday Inn Express Mexico Basilica by IHG, Mexico City1 / 30
8.6
Mexico City, Calzada de Guadalupe No. 54 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was spacious, the bed was huge, and the layout was excellent. However, the surrounding area was a bit run-down, and the breakfast selection was very limited.
For its price point, the room was remarkably spacious, and the lack of carpeting made it feel exceptionally clean and tidy. The amenities were comprehensive and surpassed my expectations. My only minor drawback was the average quality of the food. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
Great location with parking available. The breakfast was quite substantial. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only minor drawback was the absence of large windows, as it only had a window overlooking an inner courtyard, possibly due to safety concerns. The room itself was very spacious, which was a plus. It's recommended for both business and leisure travelers, offering excellent value...
The room was very spacious. The food was delicious and the dishes were incredibly fresh. I'll definitely be back! The surrounding amenities are also great, making everything very convenient. Highly recommended! What's more, it was spotless.
Perfect hotel. Good location, close to the international airport. Nice breakfast, many options. Check out before 13:00, very friendly! Strong recommendation!
My stay is good. Staying there for one night during transiting. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff speaks English. Within 15 min of driving from the airport there are no traffic jams.

Nice but dated hotel. Staff is friendly and professional but the rooms haven't been kept up 100%. Small things, like stains on the wallpaper, things that regular housekeeping just can't do. I'd stay again but I'm keeping my expectations muted.
We are beyond pleased with our experience at Hotel Raizor. The staff were superb, friendly and authentic, multilingual, experienced and personable. We go every year to CDMX and we’ve been to countless of hotels of different stars: this was by far the best staff. The pool is great! Like really, really great: it’s covered, temperature-controlled, has jacuzzi, towels and you can order food. The attendant...
We stayed in a Junior suite and I think the only complaints I would have would be with the air conditiong and the pool. During the day our room would be cool but at night it seemed like it would stop working. Our first night I said something to the front desk and they sent maintenance right away. The problem seems to have been fixed until we came back from centro when the room was warm again. Our first...
Hotel was in the perfect location for my family event. It is close to the airport and the hotel offers a free shuttle. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were divine! I slept extremely well. The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast for a few. They will cook your eggs to order. I was very impressed with the staff's ability to speak English as my Spanish is limited. It was very easy to...
Excellent hotel. Comfortable beds, great staff, shuttles available and security always on duty. Great breakfast buffet. Very friendly to English speaking tourists. Highly recommend this spot if in Mexico City. Pool and small gym make it an easy spot to rest and relax as you explore Mexico City. They have kind of thought of everything you would need. Rooms were nice and quiet as well despite the city...
I would choose this place when traveling on business. Overall, it’s okay.

Lovely hotel, great location and a delicious breakfast.
This is my second year in a row staying at this hotel for business trips. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and it's very close to Chinatown. The first day, the bed was a bit dirty, but after I told a staff member, they changed it for us to a clean one. The hotel is in the city center, within walking distance of many attractions like the National Palace, churches, the Palace of Fine Arts, and the...
Location and breakfast were good. Easy access to metro.
The Perfect Base for Exploring CDMX A fantastic, high-value stay! This Ibis is the definition of 'no-frills' done right—everything works perfectly and all the essentials are included without any unnecessary fuss. The location is truly second to none; being right next to the Juárez metro and steps from Alameda Central made exploring Mexico City so easy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing...
Great location, convenient for getting around, and relatively new facilities.
It’s always a pleasure staying here, food is delicious and close to Bella’s artes.

Hotel is very strategically located. But uses old carpet that gives off some smell as you enter it. I got used to the smell eventually. Other than that, breakfast is just nice. Staffs are amazing and accommodative. Amenities are basic.

Everything was great at property and excellent location, some construction going on building next to it, but overall all good
Property had great location and view of the Angel. The only complaint is thin walls and floors, but it is tolerable. I would definitely stay there again.
The location is very convenient, the room is small, the breakfast is poor, indeed the breakfast is not good.

Excellent location and accessibility to many restaurants and shops
It have a good location, its is in the interlomas area (and there are few hotels there) however it is close to Bosques de las Lomas and even Santa Fe, so great location. The hotel is in the top of a little and exlusive mall, so great options for food…
Extremely poor breakfast cold buffet. The only day I ordered a la carte the service was disastrous, although the food was good. Housekeeping is spotty, one of the days of my stay they did not leave clean towels, but took away the dirty ones. All in all not the best maintained of managed property I've been in lately.
The breakfast is poor but on weekends are terrible. Need be better because is a plus hotel Thank you
Very clean and appealing hotel. I liked everything about it.
Hard to find but hotel itself was very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay at Fiesta Inn Express. The location is excellent, safe location , with easy access to activities, restaurants, and everything needed both day and night. It offers very good value for the price, with most facilities above average for a budget hotel. Basic amenities are convenient and practical. Bedding is acceptable. Overall, a comfortable and affordable choice that I would recommend.
Had a nice stay and loved the view from the room over the city..
The window cannot be opened. I guess Chinese people are not used to it. The towels are black. It is best to bring your own towels and toiletries. Checking in 3 o'clock in advance will be charged extra
The hotel is very well located; you can take public transportation right across the street to get to the historic center or the Bellas Artes. The staff is very attentive, and the hotel is very clean. The hotel has parking, but it costs an additional 120 MXN per night. This is not mentioned on the website or when booking.
Great location right next to a bus stop, metro station, and mall. Slightly farther from the city center/big attractions, but very easy to get around. Very safe as well - the rooms are all located 3-6 floors above street level, and you need a key card to use the elevator. Breakfast was good (eggs, fruit, pancakes, rice, beans, salsas, veggies, pancakes, bread) although of course you could probably find...
More or less, the location is good but it needs more cleaning and the mattress should be changed.

The hotel was clean and the workers were really professional
The room is large, the hotel layout is reasonable, and the bathroom is great. 👍🏻 It's just that the English at the front desk is not good, and the quality of the waiters is not high. I kept hearing knocking on the door early in the morning, and they were knocking on every door.

Good in between spot between the Basilica of Our Lady Guadalupe and Mexico City. There’s a pharmacy around the counter and a 24 hr restaurant across the street to the right. Excellent service, comfort, hygiene and location
There is no window that can be opened in the room. It is completely closed and can only let in light but not ventilation. The breakfast is good, 7-11 buffet, you can eat enough, eggs, vegetables, etc. But overall it is a budget hotel
It’s a good hotel with friendly staff and good bed. Everything was clean in room
It is one of the best value for money options in the area, it is in a shopping plaza, which makes its location better.

Very good service, clean and tidy room, good breakfast
1. The room is generally clean. It is very noisy on the elevated side, but very quiet on the residential side. When booking a room, remember to note that you want a quiet room with a good view. 2. I was fairly satisfied, but hotels in Mexico generally don't provide slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes.
Have stayed here before and as always from greeting to departure the personnel were outstanding. Full of information-tips of how to get around, what to watch out etc
The room has the nice view to the square. I love it
I was able to check in without any problems even though I arrived late at night. The location was in the center of the historical district, so I was able to stay safely. The hotel also had a nice atmosphere, so I was able to stay comfortably.
Well, they've been improving, only one of the girls at reception seems to always be in a bad mood, this is the second time I've stayed and this time I thought I wouldn't find her there anymore.
Nice hotel in a historical building, right next to the Zocalo. Our room faced the side street so the noise level was tolerable. Location was excellent as it was so close to major sights in the historical area, the night bus stop and the Metro.

Older but nice clean hotel at one point this hotel must of ben luxury now its glory days are behind em but it still a nice stylish place to stay
Good place for a business or study trip. Rooms have all what you need: iron, hairdryer, table, couple chairs. It's a little bit old and some sheets and towels are my peers. But it's a good 3 stars hotel in the city center with a lot of opportunities for going out
Very helpful and friendly staff. Close to sites and shopping centre. There is a breakfast available at $160 Pesos which is very nice. Clean rooms and surprisingly quiet considering its near a park and main road.
Everything was very good, the service was excellent, it is newly remodeled, I highly recommend it
Half an hour from fine arts walking, the room is very clean, I am a fan of the tubs in the showers. Air conditioning, television and mini dining room. The only thing I didn't like is that when I wanted to ask for room service they never answered. I don't know if because there was an event or it was a day off for the kitchen
This was a moderate price hotel, about as cheap as you can find with a/c. Some rooms have a/c some dont. The hotel is a bit dated...my guess circa 1974, rooms a bit dated but the price is right. It is just off the Paseo de la Reforma but the streets in there are a bit hard to navigate and a taxi seems to go around a lot to get in front of the hotel, but this is common around here. Very clean and great friendly staff!!
The receptionist was incredibly helpful. The young woman who checked us in was very attentive, as we arrived a little before check-in time and she told us that since the rooms were ready, she would let us go in. That was so appreciated. As we were leaving very early the next day, she gave us a light lunch since breakfast was included [at another hotel that included breakfast, they didn't give us anything...
We had no way to contact the hotel, as they only had a phone number, and if you're from another country, you can't make calls. They need a WhatsApp contact or at least an email address to request airport transfers. Because of this same problem, we spent over an hour waiting for the transfer outside the airport in the freezing cold; it was very unpleasant. The Wi-Fi was poor, slow, and constantly failing
Excellent service from the staff, the room was spotless, and the included breakfast was delicious. In addition, it has an excellent location for people like us who attend concerts at the Palacio de los Deportes or Foro Sol.
Generally speaking, it is good. If you arrive at night and need an airport bus to pick you up, you can call the front desk and they will arrange a bus to go to Gate 4 of Terminal 1. Pay attention to the hotel name on the bus.
The room was average. Due to travel issues, we negotiated with the front desk to pay a deposit for 6 nights in advance, so that we could cancel at midnight. But on the day of check-out after 5 nights, they kept making excuses, saying that they needed to consult the boss and send an email to explain the details. They refused to refund us in cash, saying that they would refund our credit card within...

Great buffet service was there for a conference don't know much about the rooms.
The hotel is generally clean, and the room is very spacious. However, my room was close to the road, so some noise was expected during the day. Fortunately, it was quiet at night, allowing for a good rest. The breakfast is simple but offers enough variety to suit my needs.
The staff at thr reception desk was friendly and acomodative We arrived at 4am aftrr a long flight of 24 hours. The room was very spacious and clean. Food was good but can be better. Service was very very good. Checkout was also pleasant.
Roadside rooms have too much noise starting from very earlier morning. Close to exhibition center, one local convenient shop OXXO is close to the hotel, the staff of OXXO is very friendly and nice. But it is quite hard to take taxi at rush hours
Facilities: There is no hairdryer in the room, but you can ask the front desk for one. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Service: The staff are very friendly. Facilities: The bed is a bit short; people over 1.8 meters tall might find it cramped, with their feet sticking out. Also, it's close to the exhibition hall, the price is reasonable, and it offers good value for money.
The disadvantage is that there is no smoking room😂

Very good and clean, and close to Walmart.
Very good. I would return and recommend it to others.
It's a relatively old hotel, but its advantages are reasonable prices, convenient transportation, and a satisfactory breakfast. Note that you should request a room in the courtyard when booking, otherwise the noise from the main road will be too loud and make it difficult to rest.
I'd stayed at this hotel before, and since it had air conditioning, I thought I'd stay here again. I was alone in a cramped room on the first floor; there wasn't enough room for my suitcase. And to top it off, there was no air conditioning! I was freezing!
Overall for 3 Star hotel seem fine, hotel is clean service good location is convenient nextdoor to Walmart, the main problem is no one answered the phone either reply message, but in the end we enjoyed our trip.
Good place to stay at an affordable price point. If you are looking to do tours and other types of trips it is somewhat outside of the hotel pick up area but an uber can solve this. Staff were great and the room was very spacious
