City Express Junior by Marriott Ciudad de México Sullivan, Mexico City1 / 28
8.1
Mexico City, James Sullivan 35, San Rafael (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Honestly, I found the hotel pretty average. The surrounding area didn't seem to have anything new or particularly impressive, and the overall integration felt quite ordinary. Next time, I'll probably try a different hotel.
How should I put it? There's not much to say about the hotel itself. This place felt very average, and I didn't particularly like it. I probably won't stay here again next time. Hopefully, I'll find a much better hotel next time.
Too few choices for breakfast. The hotel is in a quiet location, but convenient to nearby attractions.
I like this place, it's in a safe area
Very good, convenient transportation
They didn't have enough parking for each room, I had to pay a fee to store my vehicle. Because they didn't have any.

Mexico City, Avenida Paseo De La Reforma 124 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Excellent location and a comfortable and clean room.
The hotel's location is great, making it easy to get around. It's right on Reforma Avenue, and we even saw a parade on Saturday. The road was closed on Sunday for what looked like a city-wide fitness event. The area felt very safe, so we could explore without worries. Public transport, including buses and the metro, was super convenient. Plus, the breakfast spread was fantastic.
I have to start by saying that the location is excellent. Then, the staff are all very friendly and make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need. The food is good value and delicious. I definitely recommend it and would return.
The hotel is in a great location, the prices are not that high and the staff is very friendly.
hotel staff and location is good but expensive
Room was small which is OK since I just slept there. Bathroom is not clean - found long dark hair in bathtub after I took shower (I am blond). Customer service is not attentive. And top notch is refrigerator with a lock. And yes I asked for a key and was ready to leave a deposit requested but been ignored. Definitely not 5 star hotel as advertised on their site.

People are friendly. Nice location
The hotel has a great environment and an excellent location.
Clean and tidy, cost-effective, simple to stay in, but there is no refrigerator in the room
This hotel needs renovation. It's located quite well near a shopping center and has good transport links. The breakfast was decent, and the cleanliness was also good.
there were bedbugs in the room. The hotel itself is clean but with bedbugs. Close to the center. We had to fight for breakfast. I have it included, they don't. The first day I spent a long time figuring it out. The breakfast itself is meager. 1 glass of orange juice, a choice of sandwich, eggs and pancakes and coffee. This is not a buffet!
Everything is good, except that the elevator noise is very loud in the rooms next to the elevator entrance. If you are a light sleeper, you will not sleep well at night. But the location, service and hygiene are all very good.

I liked the hotel. This is a hotel chain. Nice, comfortable room. Delicious breakfasts (photo attached). Friendly staff. You can eat in the hotel restaurant, there is room service. A nice Russian cafe "Kolobok" is nearby! It's very tasty there! Of the minuses - not very good equipment of the fitness room
Was a great hotel for the price.
Really good hotel. Good location, and friendly staff. It was clean and the room was really big. Highly recommended!
The price/performance ratio is OK. The front desk speaks very good English. There is a farmer's market nearby, which is very convenient for shopping. The front desk service is very good. I like it very much. It helps me a lot. The hotel is just a little old.
The room is big and beautiful, but the location is not good. Everything else is great.
The most recommended is breakfast

Mexico City, Leon Tolstoi Mexico City 11590 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's a good place to stay if you're looking for something affordable; the overall value for money is decent. However, the place is a bit old, the AC is noisy, and there's a slight odor in the room. As for breakfast, Chinese people probably won't be used to it.
The staff were friendly, but the room condition was not very clean.
The breakfast on 10th floor is reasonably priced and have great views.
The lobby smells bad and the bedding smells bad too.
This hotel is not located in the best area of Polanco. Another negative point is the breakfast. When it is included in the daily rate, it is quite poor. Almost an insult to guests accustomed to the Wyndham standard in the USA. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel reception are very poor. The room has old carpets and looks dirty. Overall, I found the cost/quality ratio of this hotel to be poor
It is a tidy and clean hotel, near to Polanco and Museums. The area is safety.

The hotel staff is very attentive and provides excellent service. The food in the hotel restaurant is of high quality. Rooms are ok.
Cleaning staff did a good job and the restaurant was good for breakfast.
The staff was great and always greeted us with smiles. The room was not good unfortunately. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it was as hard as sleeping on the floor. The first day, the water heater was not working and we had to shower with cold water, but the next day it was fixed.
The staff were excellent and the food was good. The rooms were ok. The beds are hard which made sleeping uncomfortable. No fridge or microwave in the rooms. Bathroom was small but got the jobs done. Also they don’t sell snacks. They state in the room booklet that they exchange money in the hotel yet they wouldn’t exchange money both times I asked. Disappointing. Other than that the hotel was ok a bit...
The good: Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. They quickly learned my name and room number and always greeted me with a smile. The hotel is located in a nice and safe area, with plenty of restaurants, stores and public transportation within walking distance. No, no tourist attractions nearby, if that is what you are looking for but public transportation can get you there through Mexico City's traffic...

Perfect location, hotel is new and good value for money
Still under construction, should be done soon. Switching from Roosevelt to holiday in express.
Was ok, not great The hotel was undergoing a lot of renovation so there was a lot of construction noise during the day. The lobby was under construction and did not look nice at all. The towels we were given in our room looked old and worn, and we were never given enough towels. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor and we always had to clean up a large puddle after taking showers.
I booked for 3 days. Everything about the accommodation was great. The area is safe. There's plenty of access to nearby places on foot and to more distant places by car. In this case, there's a metrobus station across the street that connects you to other metro stations.
The rooms are new and comfortable, the common spaces need renewals but I think they are doing them. It has free parking. Very good price and location.
The value of this place is the best I found in the city. Feels like a 4 star hotel for a minimal price. Very clean modern, great water pressure and temperature. High quality towels and linen. Highly recommended!”

Stayed there a number of years back. They took great care of us. Located walking distance to a lot of where we wanted to visit.
Great location, but it's old and falling apart. Torn curtains, mold in the grout in the bathroom, only one bath towel and no hand towels or wash clothes, no fridge, no coffee, just the basics.
The bathroom had a water leak, a small cockroach came out of the shower drain, the mattresses are very old and watery. Out of 4 people they only gave us 2 towels.
A good and relative cheap hotel if you want to stay in the heart of Mexico city. Just a few walking minutes away from the Alameda Central park. Rooms are ok but i usually found that AC sockets didn't work. So charging phones or computers where a little bit of a pain

Location is excellent, outside hotel looks very good , but room are really old and definitely need the renovation. Good for only time stay.
This place is fantastic. The location is perfect and many attractions are walking distance. The hotel has a lovely ambience and the staff were really friendly. The room was big and comfortable. I would recommend this place. We shall be returning
There floor was an even and could see very clearly it was crooked, a bit noise in the morning. Beutiful building outside.
The facilities are a bit old and need remodeling in my opinion, and it's also very noisy with the view of Reforma, since the windows apparently don't have that special rubber to insulate the noise well. That and the noise of the air conditioning were an issue I didn't like.
The hotel is beautiful. Despite its age, it has been very well maintained. The service was also top-notch, with the bellboy and concierge team 100% 10. I will definitely return.
Good location, good hotel. The restaurant has good food and good service. The hotel is just a bit old but still in good condition.

Mexico City, Av. Alvaro Obregón 94 Col. Roma Norte (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The building is old, and the rooms were older than I expected, but they seemed well-maintained. However, three small cockroaches appeared. The shower pressure was weak, which was a hassle, but overall, it's not bad value for money if you're just looking for a place to sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a stylish churro shop nearby, which I recommend for breakfast.
Very attentive staff and excellent location
A little noise in the street-facing room but everything else was excellent
Excellent staff service, good location and clean room
Superb location on a busy and safe avenue. Our room was very clean and quiet on the fourth floor; perhaps a little warm with no a/c but the ceiling fan was enough to palliate it. We had no food in the hotel, but the premises looked clean and well kept. I'll definitely go back.
I have been staying at Hotel Milan on trips to Mexico City since 2005. For the price I think you will struggle to find better. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant food is good and the location is excellent The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that these days it can be a little noisy, especially at weekends at the front of the hotel at night because of bars / nightclubs nearby...

It has a nice view at a higher floor. It is a bit noisy in the morning.
Good value for money. Located near the Chabacano metro station. The towels were low quality, but the sheets and bed were very comfortable. Large room on the second floor. 24-hour reception. Elevator. Restaurant with good prices. The safe was free. They provided two complimentary bottles of water each day. We would return.
A very good hotel, highly recommended for a longer stay of more than two days, as the service and attention are excellent. The rooms are clean, but the only drawback is that depending on the room, the shower has varying water pressure, and in some cases, the water leaks. The rooms are spacious and cozy; you sleep well, and there's no noise from the amenities. The only improvement would be the TVs being...
We stayed several days at the hotel. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, very clean, the staff were excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant was very good. The only drawback was the lack of heating, and the rooms were very cold.
1. I hope you can upgrade your internet and improve the service in the rooms because it's never working. 2. Please add cable channels; your televisions are very old. The hotel leaves much to be desired. If you can't offer these two services, it's essential. You can find them even in hotels that cost 200 pesos. Thank you for your prompt response. I really like the hotel, but we do need these services

Fantastic stay. Everyone couldn't have been nicer. The hotel is very well located, walking distance to many great restaurants. There are also a few shops right next to the hotel.
Very basic hotel, clean but outdated. The location isn't too bad for visiting Mexico City, but there's nothing nearby and it's somewhat neglected.
Overall, the value for money is great, and the service attitude is excellent. The room looks clean and bright, and the large window offers a nice view. The Hotel is a great value for your money: The staff is professional and cordial. The installation is well placed by many attractions that are well suited for the family traveler.
Staff very nice although they forgot to respond an email requesting extra pillows the first day, I had to remind them the following morning. The room is simple but practical, suitable for a one-night stay. The price/performance ratio is very high. The surrounding area is quite lively and close to Reform Avenue. The front desk staff is very friendly and warm.
Staff is very helpful and the location is good, for this price.   Breakfast is very ordinary.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Mexico City and would definitely recommend it. First of all, the price was very good for what you get. Nice hotel. Location is central within walking distance to many things however the neighborhood isn’t that safe at night and very run down.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!
The room was great, and there was even a coffee machine. It would have been even better if the towels in the bathroom were a bit newer. The entire room was nicely decorated and new, with no unpleasant smells. The room layout was also very practical. Having stayed in quite a few hotels in Mexico City, this one is definitely good value for money. I would stay here again next time. The breakfast buffet...
A friend recommended this hotel. The environment and service were excellent. After breakfast, the room was already cleaned by the auntie. There was also a Bluetooth speaker on the ceiling, which was really nice. I connected my phone to it every night and listened to sleep music. The only downside was the poor internet connection. It would be great if this could be improved.
The receptionist was very welcoming. The breakfast selection was limited but good. The location is very good and convenient to everywhere in the city center. The only drawback is that the WiFi speed is very slow. I hope it can be improved. If I have the chance to come to Mexico again, I will still choose this place

The staff are not friendly, they never say hi or good morning or anything that makes you feel welcomed. The location is great, metro and bus accessible, lots of cafes, restaurants and bars around. Rooms are super clean but it is in a very busy area and a lot of noises will interrupt your sleep.
Generally speaking, if you don't have expectations, you won't be disappointed.
The pink area is convenient for going out, it's an older hotel, very close to the bar street, but the internet is not very good.
The room is not big, but it is enough for me. Towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, hair dryer, tissues, etc. are provided. Great location. Close to Plaza Angel. With a tons of walking distance things to do. You can get great value for your money. And, it has breakfast included (not sure, if it applies to all reservations).
The hotel is nice, it’s small and boutique in nature and style, but honestly perfect for business travel. I was able to print documents for meetings and it’s SO centrally located in Reforma that you will be happy to have stayed here. I got the terrace suite and it had a view of paseo reforma.
Decent hotel with a great price to quality ratio but not for light sleepers - the acoustic insulation is non existent. It’s very loud from a club just next to the hotel, from the hotels own corridors and from the street. Bring earplugs!
The location is very good. The Sheraton was out of rooms, so I stayed here across the street for one night. The service was very good, but the hotel is at the level of a domestic express hotel. The breakfast was simple.
Lovely and affordable small hotel located right in front of the Angel of Independence and within walking distance of Chapultepec Park. Excellent for a short stay. Included breakfast is a plus and the view from my room was great. My only advice to make your stay better is to bring earplugs to sleep, I'm sure I couldn't have done without mine.

Room are in the small side, breakfast is good and location is great. Service is lacking, to get an invoice they don’t follow up and make you waste your time, either they don’t make it or will ignore you
The location of the hotel is very convenient. Opposite is the largest shopping mall in Mexico, and next to it are KFC and Pizza Hut, which is very convenient.
Location is good as well as a large shopping mall SEARS on the opposite side just takes walking around 8 minutes. Simple and clean, and RF is a restaurant in case you don't want to take ride to the downtown.
Giving 3 stars because: 1. Some of the alcohol dispensers were empty for days. 2 Most of the people at the reception were nice but they don't take ownership of the short comings of the hotel. I.e asked several time to get a cup and sugar for the coffee machine and their answer was, not my job its the job of the kitchen!!! It was more helpful the people at the valet parking than the people in the reception
Reservation was cancelled due to some policies after 18hrs.
