I feel sad to write this review as it is happening in real time. Today is March 6, 2026 and I am having a very difficult time trying to cancel my reservation. I called yesterday with my best Spanish, which is not good, and they asked me to call back today to receive a notification? I'm assuming that means confirmation? This time I am trying through WhatsApp so I can use Google Translate. They are telling me that it's non-refundable. I explained I purchased the refundable option for my reservation. They replied saying it's refundable if cancelled no less than 7 days prior to check-in. I took a screen shot of their cancellation policy from my reservation email that says this reservation has a flexible cancellation policy and if canceled with less than 24 hrs notice then the first night rate will be charged. My reservation does not start until March 9. So I am well within the cancellation window. An hour has passed and they have no written me back. I've indicated that my intentions are to engage with kindness and I'm simply looking for help with my cancellation and refund according to their policy.

I'm quite disappointed with the lack of communication. Prior to this I emailed them 3 times over the course of 4 days with no response. I would be happy to amend this review if they follow through with the refund.

Stay away from this place! We went to Mexico City for just 3 nights for my husband's birthday and booked through Expedia. We arrived after midnight the first night, our flight was 8 hr late. Upon arrival, we were informed (for the first time) by a very rude receptionist with non-existent English speaking skills that the hotel is under renovations (that was obvious), there would be noise starting at 7AM and we could go look for another place, or pay in full for 3 nights! We really had no choice. Got worse from there on, room was dirty, the whole place covered with sanding dust, only one electric outlet in the room worked with some propping. Water pressure poor, barely hot water. Location is fantastic but that's about it. When I asked for at least partial refund because of the renoes and dust I was told that we had the option of canceling reservation upon arrival!

This was one of the worst experiences in my life. When we arrived after midnight, after 8 hr flight delay, we were informed by a rude receptionist that the hotel is under renovation, noise starts at 7AM, and we need to pay for all three nights, or go elsewhere. I was shocked but because it was so late we had no choice. Only got worse from there. Filthy, electric outlets not working in the room etc. Dust from renos. Stay away.

The hotel was in shambles. I had to move to a new hotel and they would not issue a refund.

The room was quite large and well equipped. Large shower with plenty of hot water. Very nice bath towels. Very comfortable king sized bed.

The staff was excellent, especially Pedro the chef at the included breakfast. He personally tailors the breakfast to your desires. And he’s quite a character.

I loved the location. Double paned windows meant you could not hear the noise from outside. You could hear the hallway noise since the doors are not sealed well.

Comfortable bed, good pillows, great water pressure although the bathroom can be smelly from the pipes.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was freshly made and a good start to the day.

There are Nespresso machines in the room. We did have to ask to have a corkscrew and hairdryer brought to the room.

Shampoo, body wash, and conditioner were all good quality.

I had high hopes considering the listing and photos and to get there after check in to find out my room wasn’t ready. When it was finally ready, it was under construction zone and remodeling which made for a lot of drilling and unsafe, tools, and furniture located in the hallways of the hotel. They had a room for me on the first floor (night 1) , but told me I had to move to the second floor for the remaining days of my trip. I had to tell staff to stop drilling in the evening to try and get rest and to be quiet.

The Chef, who was a really nice gentleman apologized to me numerous times who was also running the front desk due to staff shortage. He mentioned they were in the process of remodeling it and rooms weren’t available as they were doing construction and taking things out and lots of sawing.

There is two restaurants downstairs so you will hear music and people and the crowds so it can be loud at times. I showed The Chef the shower door, which did not close as the maintenance repair guys put the door on backwards so the shower door wouldn’t close while taking a shower making it a puddle of water once stepped out.

This hotel is an outright scam. It is absolutely not a four-star property! At best, it barely reaches one and a half. Everything is run-down: the bathrooms have mold, the ceilings are peeling from humidity, and the furniture looks like it was salvaged from a storage room. The so-called “included breakfast” was honestly the worst food I’ve had in CDMX; you’d get better chilaquiles at a 7-Eleven. The whole experience felt like being robbed. Stay far away from this place.

Great boutique hotel in an excellent location in Condesa.
Good sized room, well equipped with nice amenities.
Enjoyed the rooftop breakfast with squirrel feedings.
Good staff. Recommended

Bad experience, I’m not sure why this place was so well-reviewed. Food took forever but came cold. The side plate of potatoes was essentially served raw. Bread was stale. I ordered the huevos rancheros sin carne but came with bacon on top. Not coming back here again.
