Koos Hotel Boutique Tulum in Tulum

This was the weirdest hotel experience I have ever had. Not bad …but super weird. My husband and I arrived at 4 pm, the place was completely empty and locked up. We managed to get the attention of the handyman and he unlocked the office door, checked us in and led us to our room. The foyer, lounge and pool was completely empty. Chairs in the foyer stacked everything unplugged. BUT it was super nice and clean. Our rooms hot water wasn’t working so they moved us to a nice new room. The bed was very comfy, the pool was great. They let us keep our bikes in the empty foyer. The man at the front desk was lovely But we were THE ONLY people there our whole stay. It was good but weird.

I was there from Friday to Sunday...….. The hotel is on a good area of Tulum, very close to the downtown area. The hotel is Clean and very quiet place, the beds are comfortable, The Front desk (Elizabeth) is a very nice lady and she help me with everything that I needed. The hotel Pool is Amazing and the View is a 10/10. (The hotel is on a new area so it can be very hard to find but the hotel were very good sending the details about how to find them)

Everything was perfect! But they should inform customers there is no parking opiton infront of hotel. It is too close to hotel but not hotel parking area for this reason I try to find a way to go to Hotel with a car. Parking area just 1 min walk. Other things are perfect! I will definetly go that place again.

Cute property, nice staff. Good for families or older couple’s looking for a safe and quiet area of Tulum. Not close to the beach or downtown (old town) where the shopping, restaurants and bars are at. But I rented a e-bike and made an adventure out of it.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The hotel looked beautiful with it’s interior design. Just like the pictures. However, the furniture we a bit too minimal, as a wardrobe or some sort of shelves to put your clothes were missing. The hotel is located in a really quiet and safe area away from the center, surrounded by few, but really amazing restaurants and breakfast bars. The restaurant that we were promised upon booking and saw in pictures was apparently closed a while ago. So we were a bit disappointed on that front. The isolation was not that good. It was easy to hear people in the lobby from the room. We also experienced a few weird things that was not up to standard. The shower head was really bad. Something that could easily be upgraded. Also there were not enough lights in the room (no nightlight or anything). But these minor inconveniences didn’t affect our stay, and we were very happy to have chosen Ko’os.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Tulum style. Very cozy and tasteful. The attention of Coty, Claudia, Muriel and sorry for not remembering his name, I mean the young chef of the restaurant, was impeccable, always with a smile and ready to solve any problems we might have. Thank you for everything. We will be back!

Excellent service from all staff. Nice design and comfortable. Maybe you lack equipment in the rooms like dryer, iron, storage space is limited. Note that there is no TV. Wi-Fi signal is good.

I feel like I've found a gem! The overall esthetic offers ease the moment you step into the hotel property. The rooftop pool was my absolute favorite! Perfect for sunbathing in the day, and absolutely stunning views of the stars at night. The service staff and house keepers were attentive and kept the property clean. Rafael, hotel manager was so hospitable and made us feel right at home! He suggested coffeeshops and restaurants nearby that made our experience delightful. Our king size room was equipped with everything we needed. After a long day of excursions, we melted into the sheets - a good nights rest. Anytime I am in Tulum and want to be away from the noise, I'll definitely book a stay at Ko'os!
