This is an independent resort, quite a distance from the airport, so it's best to have your own rental car. Dinner requires a reservation, while lunch and breakfast are served buffet style with plenty of options. The sea view rooms offer panoramic ocean views. The waves can be quite strong, so most guests prefer to stay by the swimming pool.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya! Everything has been absolutely perfect—the breathtaking nature, the abundance of wildlife, and the top-notch food and drinks. This is the kind of place we could happily return to again and again.

The hotel's facilities are top-notch, but the restaurant's food is quite mediocre and doesn't match the hotel's caliber. The location is inconvenient; you can only rely on local taxis, which are very expensive, and there's no Uber available. I'd recommend staying in Cancun next time you visit Tulum.

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Papaya Playa and the experience blew us away. The staff’s service was exceptional and they made us feel right at home. Specifically, I would like to mention Santos, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everything was amazing! It was the best of both worlds being able to walk in the Mayan jungle on property but also being right on the beach. Property is absolutely gorgeous, multiple pools overlooking the beach, great service. Jay ass super helpful during our stay!

We had an incredible stay at Papaya Playa! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and accessible whenever we needed anything or had any questions and provided a lot of good recommendations to us. It was easy to be able to chat via WhatsApp’s with the front desk for questions and to arrange whatever we needed. The service is good, but the location is terrible. You can't relax because you're right next to a nightclub called Arena, and on the other side is Papaya Playa. You also can't use the sea because it's full of sargassum and rocks. During our stay, there weren't many of the food and drinks listed on the menu. If you want a rave, it's a good place; if you want to relax, it's not.

We had a wonderful stay at Ana y Jose. The place is beautiful and offers a perfect balance of a boutique hotel and family friendly vibe. The service was impeccable: friendly and accommodating, always going an extra mile. The little kids playground on the beach was a highlight. We also enjoyed the spa very much. We quite enjoyed our oceanfront room.

Stayed here in June. Staff was kind, room was clean. Unable to swim at the beach at that time of the year due to sargassum but they also have pools. We had the suite with a pool on the rooftop and it was worth it. Property was quiet and we only saw 2-3 other guests during our 4 night stay which is what we were looking for. Peaceful place.

This hotel has a really great vibe. The staff are very nice. They offer free yoga classes and bowl therapy. There's a seaside restaurant. Sitting by the sea with a cold drink and enjoying the breeze is so relaxing 😌. The only downside is that taxis are quite expensive in Tulum (you can't use Uber; it's monopolized by one company).

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable- it was tough at times to contact the resort via **********, so when I switched to direct communication it was better. Nest is a beautiful, secluded haven of a hotel with very attentive, accommodating staff. No complaints. I would only say that Nest is expensive relative to neighbouring hotels, which also had a very luxurious feel to them (although I didn’t see inside their rooms or get a sense of their customer service). I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I stayed in the penthouse suite and loved how spacious it was and having a private pool and jacuzzi. Also, the Lucky Lizard bar was really fun to hang by and the bartender Iram was very nice and attentive. Clothing optional is really the way to go as well. This place was cool 15 years ago, and hasn’t been updated. Our room seemed like it was falling apart, cracked walls, stained sheets and robes. Food was overly processed, drinks were bottom shelf. The pictures made it seem way cooler than it was. The bikes were rusted and falling apart, totally unsafe to ride.

So I enjoyed our stay with kore everyone was very nice to us helped us with everything we needed. The staff was really friendly I walked into the kitchen at close and was going to get food somewhere else but they sat me and my fiancée down and made us a Togo dinner and don’t be afraid of renting a scooter and exploring tulum it’s very safe just be respectful

We have stayed at other Namrom properties (Xela and Nest in Tulum, and La Valise in San Miguel de Allende) and all feature caring and attentive staff, great locations and well appointed rooms. We had planned to stay again at Xela, next door to Encantada, but it was booked for a wedding. We stayed for a week and had a marvellous time. Encantada is small, eco friendly and luxurious. The beach is beautiful and the staff are kind and make one feel very at home. They will arrange outings if one wants but we enjoyed lying on the beach beds, reading and sipping margaritas! The upper ocean view room is wonderful. It gets windy but the view is spectacular.

Super helpful and friendly staff, location with idyllic and peaceful with good access to the rest of Tulum. Very comfortable and well worth it
