My husband and I had a lovely trip here! We met a really interesting variety of people. Our room was gorgeous, we had a lovely hot tub on our balcony. The palm trees around the pool made our trip feel so tropical and luxurious. The bar and restaurant were closed while we were here, but that did not bother us because there are great restaurants all over Centro. The staff were so kind and helpful! We had such a great time relaxing by the pool and reading. We plan on coming back in the future!

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I stayed in the penthouse suite and loved how spacious it was and having a private pool and jacuzzi. Also, the Lucky Lizard bar was really fun to hang by and the bartender Iram was very nice and attentive. Clothing optional is really the way to go as well. I felt safe the whole time and very comfortable. I can't wait to go back!

Last minute trip and glad I did. It was super relaxing no noise everyone was super nice and respectful. Did not have the smell of burning trash like others stated, and also our room was well cleaned. The condos are owned by different people. Property management takes care of the pool and garden. We booked off booking and will gladly do it again. The bartender was super chill and great to keep conversations with. The town is extremely walkable. Front desk girl is super helpful if you need anything. The bartender who is open 9am-10pm + can also help out either with recommendations or something you may need. The staff seems to work together great. There is also people who stay on property X months out of the year who will gladly give you some recommendations. Looking forwards to our next trip back as the accommodation and overall facilities were amazing.

It seems that the experiences here toggle between extremes. My partner and I were among the unlucky to have a poor experience. I reserved a junior swim up suite. The room had been tidied but not cleaned. The toilet, floors, and sinks in our room had been unattended to after heavy use (I won't go into graphic detail, but it was GROSS). The water exploded out of the tap from built up air pressure from lack of use or the water source previously being shut off. The faucets were heavily corroded and the windows and window screens were very dirty and the furniture was dusty.

Not only did this not feel like a luxury experience, it felt more like staying in an abandoned property in apocalyptic times. The swim up bar was a mess of dirty dishes, empty beverage containers and trash from a previous event or shift that had not been cleaned up.

We stayed one night and did not see another soul outside of the security guard that let us into the building after hours. Sure, that was amazing for our privacy, but there was no one to ask for assistance when we needed it and seemingly no one there to take care of the property. Office hours are 9a-6p.

The pool looked clean and it is beautifully landscaped. The hot tub was off and we couldn't find a switch for it, so it was just a dark, lukewarm tub. The room was large and had air conditioning but after seeing how unsanitary it was, anything else that possibly could have been good was overshadowed by the bad.

The nice woman at checkout gave me a small discount for the bad experience but I still paid luxury prices for sub-standard accommodations. I've traveled all over Mexico (and other developing and third world countries) and have an informed understanding of cultural differences and availability of resources. I'm no diva, this resort just substantially missed the mark with us.

We've been to Intima twice, and each time was an absolute pleasure! The rooms are spacious, super clean, and have everything you need. The vibe there is super chill, with lots of plants, a big pool near all the ground floor rooms, and really wonderful staff and friendly guests. We just got back home, but we're already talking about going back. It's like our special place to relax. The bar is open again and the drinks are awesome. If you want a chill, unpretentious vacation, I totally recommend Intima!

Also, the roads leading to the resort are fully paved, so no longer bumpy rides to get there!

It’s a fantastic value for those seeking the comfort of a clothing optional resort. The resort is small: just 25-30 rooms, and the size encourages friendly relationships between guests.

We were looking for a Nudist Resort located at the Riviera Maya, so we found Intima Resort Tulum on google and have to say we had a great time in there and inTulum. At the beginning I was a little concern about this optional clothing concept but once I got there I felt so much confidence when I realized all the guests are so respectful to each other. The resort is on point and is based on a great location to go to the beach or the downtown. I'll definitely get back to Intima but next time with less bermudas ?

Quiet and laid back with a staff who genuinely want to please. I can't imagine a better place to recharge and re-create!

Incredible resort! Mexico's best kept secret. We're not nudist however, we do like the "clothing optional" resorts. Beyond that Intima has great food, great service all around and beautiful rooms. Hard to find so be prepared with a good map. After that its #1.

Intima is a hidden gem of Tulum, soon to be uncovered. Immaculate property & accommodations, amazing staff, and incredible food & drink menu.

Additionally, the property is conveniently located equal distance between the beach & town so you get the best of both worlds. Just a short walk or ride to either.

What really sets Intima apart as a leading accommodation in the Tulum area is 2 things:

#1- The vibe & atmosphere of the resort is unmatched. If you’re looking for a laid-back, secluded paradise to enjoy your Tulum vacation at, look no matter, Intima is where you need to be.

#2- The staff truly care & treat you like family. Joel, the bartender on property, is unbelievably skilled at his craft & created some of the best libations I’ve ever had.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Resort! The rooms are gorgeous, big sliding glass doors for outdoor/indoor living and lots of natural light. A swim up entry from the room to the 24/7 pool! We had the pool to ourselves most of the trip, which lended itself well to having clothing optional! Everything was top notch, house keeping even did the dishes for us! If I’m ever back in Tulum I will be staying here again. Tulum’s best kept secret!
