This is an independent resort, quite a distance from the airport, so it's best to have your own rental car. Dinner requires a reservation, while lunch and breakfast are served buffet style with plenty of options. The sea view rooms offer panoramic ocean views. The waves can be quite strong, so most guests prefer to stay by the swimming pool.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya! Everything has been absolutely perfect—the breathtaking nature, the abundance of wildlife, and the top-notch food and drinks. This is the kind of place we could happily return to again and again.

The hotel's facilities are top-notch, but the restaurant's food is quite mediocre and doesn't match the hotel's caliber. The location is inconvenient; you can only rely on local taxis, which are very expensive, and there's no Uber available. I'd recommend staying in Cancun next time you visit Tulum.

The room was in serious need of updating. The toilet paper holder was falling off of the wall. The mirror had large black streaks down it where the plating came off the back. There was one time the world cafe took a long time to seat me, when the restaurant wasn’t full and I didn’t have much time. That was my only complaint thus far, other than that, maybe more cabs should be available to get from the beach to the gym.

Beautiful property and wonderful service. The hot tubs were not heated in multiple areas and the hot tub on our balcony was not working. The food was OK, but not as good as what we have had in comparable resorts in Mexico.

We had a fabulous time. The staff was so cordial and professional. Every restaurant and poolside area was beautifully maintained. Food was superb and prices reasonable for a resort. Our retreat with our local Pilates studio was AMAZING here. From the arrival till departure they made sure our experience was top notch. The food was spectacular. We had an excellent stay at Amansala after a tricky start to our holiday. Very much enjoyed my stay at Be tulum. Staff was attentive and polite, rooms were as shown very spacious and secluded. Area around resort was safe and walkable to several other properties as well as eating shopping and convenience store.

It’s a nice hotel with beautiful rooms, but I don’t think it should be rated as a 5-star property. They lacked some basic amenities that most hotels provide, such as slippers, and we had to ask for toothbrushes and toothpaste twice before receiving them. Room was nice and spacious. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Breakfast is basic and the same every day. When we came back from a trip in the afternoon, there were no towels left for the pool ?!

We got upgraded to a big and fine apartment, with very comfy bed, rooms serviced every day. The kitchen was very poorly equipped. When weasked for a pot or kettle to boil water for tea, we were given an old aluminium pot which was not suitable for the cooker! We experienced the staff in reception as grumpy and not too interested in guests.

It was a nice hotel. The cons are wish the water is warm when taking a shower it was cold water, one of the rooms the bed sheets has stains, and the pool is nice it just needs to be painted you can see the paint is coming off. The people in the front desk weren’t as welcoming:(

This hotel is far from the beach and definitely showing its age. Not a large property n has seen better days. Still, the staff try their best, are friendly and really the saving grace of the property. Breakfast variety is somewhat limited

The room was excellent, exceeding our expectations, and the restaurant was delicious. The only downside was the abundance of mosquitoes, probably due to the rainy season. We were grateful to the front desk for providing mosquito repellent.

Meh, very comfortable bed, nice TV, good air conditioning and nice room. On the other hand, apart from the restaurant, no service, no housekeeping after 8:00 p.m., no one there in case of breakdown. Our sink was clogged and the manager had to try to unclog it because no one else was there. There are lots of mosquitoes and flies that bite around the pool.

Room was very clean and spacious. Great shower! Every night the staff close the curtains and leave a little dessert which is a nice touch. My only feedback is the beach needs more umbrellas for shade and sometimes the sulphur smell on the beach is quite strong. Staff are kind and helpful.

We loved the hotel and the room very beautiful bathroom and private pool. The customer service from the hotel was extremely poor, they tried to make us pay 500 pesos per day for bikes when next door they were 200. We feel like they didn’t care and all they wanted was our money. Very dissapointed by the hotel staff and service and for the price we paid we expected so much more.

The hotel’s location is beachfront, which is perfect for travelers. The room is well-ventilated. The only problem is the parking logistics.

The entrance in the hotel is the most strange entrance that I ever seen. They provide a QR code that suposed to unlock the door and an acces turnistle. This doesn’t work at all.

Our room was great, but some amenities could be improved upon like having a coffee maker, clothing iron, and blow dryer inside the room. My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Papaya Playa and the experience blew us away. The staff’s service was exceptional and they made us feel right at home. We had an incredible stay at Papaya Playa! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and accessible whenever we needed anything or had any questions and provided a lot of good recommendations to us. The service is good, but the location is terrible. You can't relax because you're right next to a nightclub called Arena, and on the other side is Papaya Playa. You also can't use the sea because it's full of sargassum and rocks. During our stay, there weren't many of the food and drinks listed on the menu. If you want a rave, it's a good place; if you want to relax, it's not.

We had a wonderful stay at Ana y Jose. The place is beautiful and offers a perfect balance of a boutique hotel and family friendly vibe. The service was impeccable: friendly and accommodating, always going an extra mile. The little kids playground on the beach was a highlight. We also enjoyed the spa very much. Stayed here in June. Staff was kind, room was clean. Unable to swim at the beach at that time of the year due to sargassum but they also have pools. We had the suite with a pool on the rooftop and it was worth it. Property was quiet and we only saw 2-3 other guests during our 4 night stay which is what we were looking for. Peaceful place.

This hotel has a really great vibe. The staff are very nice. They offer free yoga classes and bowl therapy. There's a seaside restaurant. Sitting by the sea with a cold drink and enjoying the breeze is so relaxing 😌. The only downside is that taxis are quite expensive in Tulum (you can't use Uber; it's monopolized by one company).

The Beach Tulum Hotel is fantastic, it is super clean, the staff is absolutely superb and they go out of their way to help you. The whole place of Tulum was way overpriced and dirty streets . 10k a week for a room - I could have lived 10x better in Cancun or any other island in the Caribbean . Holistica was wonderful. It is not near to walk downtown or the beach area. If you plan to stay there and not venture out it is a great experience. If you want to spend more time in Tulum, you will need to rent a scooter or car.

This hotel was a beautiful, quiet oasis. The staff was wonderful, our bed was super comfortable and it felt more like a private condo than a hotel. If the big, all-inclusive hotels are too touristy for you, this could be a great choice. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable- it was tough at times to contact the resort via **********, so when I switched to direct communication it was better. They are low on staff- there were days when no chef at the restaurant and no food items...

The setting is beautiful but everything else felt a bit run down and a bit stingy. I think expectations re showers should be managed upfront. In some rooms the water is tepid, in others it’s cold.

Nest is a beautiful, secluded haven of a hotel with very attentive, accommodating staff. No complaints. I would only say that Nest is expensive relative to neighbouring hotels, which also had a very luxurious feel to them (although I didn’t see inside their rooms or get a sense of their customer service). The staff at Kore were amazing! Came during off season and it was HUMID the hotel had great AC in rooms the pool was always clean and again the staff were so kind. Only complaint was due to off season the hotels menu was so limited!

This place was cool 15 years ago, and hasn’t been updated. Our room seemed like it was falling apart, cracked walls, stained sheets and robes. Food was overly processed, drinks were bottom shelf. The pictures made it seem way cooler than it was. The bikes were rusted and falling apart, totally unsafe to ride.

So I enjoyed our stay with kore everyone was very nice to us helped us with everything we needed. The staff was really friendly I walked into the kitchen at close and was going to get food somewhere else but they sat me and my fiancée down and made us a Togo dinner and don’t be afraid of renting a scooter and exploring tulum it’s very safe just be respectful
