In summary, it was a fantastic hotel stay. The front desk staff and restaurant team were incredibly friendly, which added a warm touch to our visit. Especially the Argentinian guy which we forgot the name off! However, the breakfast staff could have been more friendly. The location of the hotel and the room were simply exceptional, deserving a perfect 11/10 rating. We were fortunate enough to enjoy a stunning sea-side room, which truly enhanced our Tulum experience. To top it off, we were even lucky to witness three nests of baby sea turtles hatching, making our stay truly memorable.
Even when there was an electric failure they immediately settled it with a beautiful room in their partner hotel.

We didn’t stay at the hotel and only visited for the beach. Because it wasn’t that crowded, they offered free parking and no cost for the beds! Amazing move and worthy of respect! If you want to have something to eat, both food and drinks are great and my wife and I enjoyed a few intense on the menu. We went there 2 times and was great.

Beautiful natural place with a lot of trees and the sound of the waves
Beside the beach
Polite staff
Some restaurants and a mini market close.

Google photos show a pool. There is no pool at this Coco...
Breakfast ok but more like cheap hostel breakfast! Quite ordinary for a room of this price.
Definitely need maintenance and love. Feels like the owners have abandoned the place and decided to put love and money in their new building.
In the room
- Broken toilet (we always had to remove the lid to be able to flush).
- 2 broken lights in the room.
- Broken patio door.
Relaxing on our patio was a bit difficult as they were doing some construction on the next room. We also rum out of water for some hours and couldn't use our toilet or wash ourselves. We can understand both situations, but then the hotel should not rent a room next the one with construction or make a better price for the inconvenience. The manager did not even come to meet us, excuse and explain to us or make an arrangement... kind of lack of respect towards clients.

Overall : not worth the price! Nice place, but really too expensive for what they offer. Find cheaper and you will be as happy. There is nothing that can justify to charge so much (I paid the price thinking there was a pool...).

A more affordable place on the beach. Their beach area was the reason I chose this hotel. Their restaurant staff was very cordial and food was good. The rooms need lots of improvement. The bathroom was dark, and there were no outlets. The room itself also did not have many outlets and the roof was damaged as we got flooded after a storm. The front desk did not have iron/hair drier available and towels very limited.

The energy of this Boutique hotel was just what I needed. Peaceful, calm and friendly. Staff were so helpful and the food was so clean and fresh. Meet wonderful people from all over the world.

I had my own room and felt completely safe.

I loved my room and the beach was so clean. I was lucky no seaweed here. They do an amazing job cleaning the beach.

I so grateful for the air conditioner as the weather was very hot humid days.

Staff helped with getting a rent a car and making dinner reservations for me

I must stay if you are staying at the beach side of Tulum.

We were guests at the hotel for food/drinks on the beach. We arrived at 9:30am and we're some of the first people there. When it started to get busy, one of the staff members had selected us at random to give up our chairs to guests of the hotel, after we had been given permission to sit there. That's just bad business. The premises were nice, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was fun. I would recommend.

Great food, views and staff. Music and sometime a DJ made for a cool vibe. Negatives were the drink prices ($15) for a featured drink from their menu making it an expensive day at the beach. If you are ok with LA/NYC pricing this is the spot to visit.

Beautiful spot right on the beach. Great service for drinks and parking

Wonderful location and beach, bungalows are open to the elements mostly and the AC in our room was broken but the big fan was enough. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you can get a good rate it's worth the stay.

Pretty and affordable place to stay. Beach is kept clean, rooms are nice, although they could do with a mini fridge and some citronella candles.
Some friends that were staying in one of the beach huts had a rat infestation in their roof and another guest had his passport stolen from his lock box.
Sadly, I was overcharged for my stay and months later, after numerous promises that I will be contacted the next day, I am still waiting for the issue to be sorted out.
Won’t be going back. Plenty of other places to choose from.

nice food. whach out for the currency rates

Good pizza on a cracker-thin crust (making it feel more like a starter than a meal). Prices for the pizza are reasonable (especially for Tulum beach) but the cocktails were outrageously priced almost as high as the pizza. Didn't even bother to get one so can't attest to their quality. The location on the noisy road right in front of a topé pretty much kills the experience.

Great pizza! Right out of a wood burning oven, thin and crispy! Highly recommend this place. Service was great too.

Pizza was exceptional and probably the best we had in tulum. Pasta was good as well. Went twice in five days.

Same as case with jared Haas (another reviewer) the menu states 'paella great for sharing for two or more people' so we assume this is a sharing dish, but actually you will be charged for two of those dishes, not one sharing dish. Also we ordered this with the lobster, the waitress came over and mumbled something to us which we didn't understand over the loud live dj, turned out later she was explaining the price for said lobster although we really feel she was unfairly unclear and rushed about this considering the lobster was 10 times more expensive than the original paella ordered. With such loud music playing the staff should be aware they have to make themselves clear. The lobster was cooked unfavourably and was more expensive than any lobster I have ever ordered in London. They also charge for the bread that they appear to bring over as complimentary, on top of this as well a 17.5% service tip. We didn't complain as we felt it was partly our fault for not clarifying with the waitress, however this is our favourite dish, one we regularly order and never encounter such problems. In all, it was a very bad experience, unfairly priced and not michelin star standard food.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve seen!
Atmosphere is great, Dj’s and live music makes Beso a different experience, not just the food.
Definitely the best Spanish kitchen of Tulum, as good as the one in Formentera Spain.

Recommended: Ceviche, Paella to share, and grill cured chop “Chuleton”!!

Food was very good, but we had some MAJOR issues with the service (as described below). The open air and open thatched hut concept gave it a nice ambiance. The atmosphere would be fantastic except it felt like fine dining in a club. Not only was the DJ loud, but early 00’s EDM content and the cheesy laser light show on the wall did not match the ambainace and the cuisine.

Service: granted it was opening night, so things will hopefully vary in the future as this place gets its act together. Our waiter(s) were great and very attentive. The issue arose when we reviewed our bill to find an extra paella dish and bread charge for items that we did not order. When we brought this to the wait staff attention, the waitress tried to argue menu language semantics that were clearly incorrect. When we had her bring out the manager, he double downed and refused to remove the unordered items off of the bill. We essentially took a stance that we would not leave until this was resolved. After about 45 minutes of arguing and waiting, arguing and waiting, and so on, it was, but all of this was avoidable and unnecessary.

Here is the issue and a warning to anyone not from Spain coming here:

The description for the paella heading says something along the lines of ‘great for sharing for two or more people’. My girlfriend ordered the Croquet (as her entree) and I was recommended the paella. The server highly recommended that we share the paella dish as well and my girlfriend agreed to trying some. Apparently in Spain they charge per person for paella (which was their entire argument basis for the charge) and is not explicit on the menu. The menu items just has a price next to the dish (as all menus do). They’re entire argument is that ‘this is how we do this in spain’ and ‘it says great for sharing for 2 or more people’. I tried to be constructive and let them know that they are not in Spain and neither are their customers and need to note a ‘per plate’ or ‘per person’ charge on the menu. But they told us it doesn’t matter and we need to pay for the 2 dishes. Also, when we told the waitress that we did not order the bread that was brought out to us, which we assumed was complementary, her response was ‘did you eat the bread’ in which we responded ‘yes’ in which she responded ‘then you need to pay for it’.

All in all we all kept our cool and everything was eventually resolved. This was an above and no beyond fail on customer service and ruined our experience, which otherwise would have been a great evening.

I really want to believe that this was a purposeful mistake and not a tourist predatory business. After talking with the wait staff and manager, I get the feeling towards the latter and caution anyone coming here. I hope I am wrong though and they will change their service and menu pricing descriptions by the time you read this!

Beautiful restaurant with unique decor compared to others in the area. We ordered drinks at the bar and enjoyed them outside on the beach. The beach chairs, incredibly bright stars, and delicious drinks make for a great experience. Will be back to try more of the food as I only had a couple of bites here and there and the pasta was a little overcooked for my taste.

Appreciated the great vibes of this place. The decor created an awesome atmosphere. The wait staff was polite and when it started raining they were very helpful to keep us dry.

The food was above average. Pasta in Tulum is not expected and it was good. I️ had the lobster special which was ~$40. The pasta was really good, but the lobster was average.

Without a doubt would come back.

Lovely walk through a European look and feel leads you to the restaurant. Ambiance, excellent. Service, excellent. Food, excellent.
