​The View: As with much of Montenegro, partially completed buildings are common. To guarantee a beautiful view, we highly recommend upgrading to a mountain or sea view

​Heading North (Budva/Gardino): There is a bus stop right behind the hotel (opposite the supermarket). ​Heading South (Bar/Stari Bar): You can catch the pink bus from the station located directly in front of the hotel

Shower doors came off the runners,maintenance man came to fix promptly but seemed to be beyond him. So we lived with it!Both pools were fairly cool for July. Staff were ok but never seemed over happy

All the personal in this hotel made the visit super, the cleaners was very nice and sweet, and the guys who worked in the reception made our stay feel personal and we felt very welcome! If we ever had questions they gladly answered

We had a balcony but not much of a view as buildings block the view to the sea and a steep cliff on the other side. Breakfasts are provided - they are a bit repetitive but fill a need

We stayed in Petrovac for a week. The personnel is nice, the hotel has three nice swimming pools surrounded by olive oil trees which provide natural shade. The balcony of our room had a beautiful view

On the beach, we enjoyed fruit and drinks several times, with attentive service from the staff. If you are planning a visit to Petrovac, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Riva – it made our holiday truly memorable
