Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marija in Montenegro. The location is very convenient, close to the old town and main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Great value for money, especially for travellers looking for simple hotel.

The Montenegrin-style breakfast service was great. The building itself is a bit old, and there's no elevator, so be mindful if you have a lot of luggage.

Since it was in the old town, I didn't have high expectations for the hotel's grade, but the room was larger than I expected. The air conditioner was quite noisy, and carrying luggage up the stairs was a bit difficult. The bedside light didn't work, and although they offered to change my room, the lights in the other rooms didn't work either.

On the second day, when I returned from outside, the staff's key was still attached to the doorknob. All the keys for that floor were attached. This might not have been a good security point.

Great little gem of a hotel. Well situated in the historic walled part of Kotor. The hotel and the little alleys and squares were decorated with Christmas lights, making the area feel like a fairytale scene.
Breakfast was more than decent, with touches of history and sophistication visible throughout the breakfast area.

Very beautiful, quaint and cosy hotel with a baroque façade situated in the heart of the beautiful historic old town close to the main gate. I stayed in a room with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old town and so that was an advantage. The room is clean and spacious and has enough closet space. You also have a fridge to keep your drinks cool . The bathroom is spacious and shower water pressure is strong . There is daily housekeeping which keeps the room very clean and supplies enough towels. The breakfast buffet is spacious and very tasty with a selection of cold and hot options. The staff is very friendly and approachable and will make you feel at home the moment you arrive. My favourite thing to do was to sit on the balcony and watch the crowds go by after an exciting day of exploring Kotor. The only disadvantage I would mention is since the hotel is located in the heart of the old town there can be noise from the street and so I recommend using ear plugs at night to be able to sleep. I would definitely stay here again and can't wait to return to this beautiful country.
