Apartments Wine House Old Town in Kotor

The hotel employee Mert is very disrespectful and very offensive. My wife and I are professional licensed tour guides, we have been in the tourism sector for a long time. WE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. Although we stated our check-in time as 13.00-14.00 on Booking, there was no one when we arrived at the hotel, when it started to rain at the door, we called WP and were told that help would be given in “5 minutes”, they said you can wait at the patisserie but that was also full, we waited for 40(!) minutes in the rain and when the hotel employee arrived, he told us very offensively that there was traffic and he couldn’t come because of the rain. Not leaving any staff when it was clear that a guest would be checking in - and we had stated the time - is not professional at all. Also, our friend Mert was soaked when he arrived and ***et got angry and argued with us loudly. I got wet too, what could I do, there was traffic etc. When we said “we are not locals here, they should know the traffic and the weather, someone should definitely be here at check-in time or we should have been informed in advance, we are guests and he is an employee” he said “the customer/employee relationship in Turkey does not exist here”. I have been in tourism for 15 years, tourism is tourism everywhere, it is the SERVICE sector, you buy a service and expect something in return, instead of winning our hearts in three sentences, the fact that he got into a fight with us and got into a fight ruined our entire holiday, which was why we had chosen this place for our anniversary. Our suitcases got wet, we got wet, he brought us a bottle of wine while we were unpacking our things, but what is the use after that well-known attitude. We did not even touch the wine on the table; I hope you do not have to offer it to other guests like that. • THE BATHROOM IS QUITE SMALL. A tall and slightly overweight person cannot easily take a shower. • The faucet was moving. •While there were no options for rooms with or without balconies when making a reservation, we ended up with a room without a balcony. •In the old town, it is impossible for old buildings to have elevators, but it is worth mentioning that we stayed on the 3rd floor, it is difficult to carry the suitcases and the stairs are narrow. •There is a lot of noise from the bar just down the street.
