Comfy beds with curtains for privacy, which is always a bonus. Separate bathrooms for men and women, and always clean. But the most important part was it quickly became a home away from home

The entire hostel looks brand new honestly. It's an amazing place that I recommend to anyone. It's social but you can go off and have your own space if need be 👌

Great value due to it being a 45 minute walk or €10 taxi into the town centre, but I personally enjoyed it being slightly more out there and more quiet. It is also 5 metres from the sea

The family who owns the place is very welcoming and great hosts. If you're nervous about the distance, you can rent bikes for your stay from a nearby shop. It's also a very easy 45 min walk or a simple bus ride

Stranger Tides is possibly the nicest and most comfortable hostel that I have ever stayed at! The rooms are clean, with AC and places to store your belongings safely, and the bunkbeds are constructed in a way that gives you privacy even in a 6 beds room

Perfect place to enjoy Kotor, and to meet new people. Sandra, the owner of the place, is a very kind person indeed who is happy to help. Her help and guidance was invaluable. Everything was just so smooth and peaceful

Stranger Tides Hostel on Dubrota, just in the outskirts of Kotor, is a fantastic hostel. It is right on the water, which makes for the perfect opportunity to swim the minute you wake up in the morning

Any negative review is just complaining about the distance. the distance is a huge plus!! No cruise tourists anywhere. It's quiet but still socialable. Everything is clean and well maintained

We had a double bed single bed suite facing the mountains and the sea 3rd floor..Great location and the facilities were delightful. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Views from our room.

It was spacious, on the second floor, had two French doors opening out onto a large balcony where we sat and looked out over the Adriatic Sea. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and supplied a nice buffet breakfast

Large, clean rooms. Soft sleep inducing beds, air con to cool after long days in the warmth and humidity. Great breakfast included. Wonderful hosts who go out of their way to assist. Thank you for our stay.

Marija2 is a very good hotel in Dobrota, Kotor. Accommodation is very comfortable and reasonably priced, which includes a very nice buffet breakfast. There is free parking on site and free Wi/Fi

Comfortable hotel a couple of kilometres from the centre of Kotor. Easy walk along the beautiful restaurant filled shore walk or cheap taxi ride. Shower had good hot water and water pressure

Felt more like a hotel than a hostel, albeit there are common areas (kitchen, living room). We were there during off season, so not many people which suited us just fine. It's right in the middle of the old town

The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped. I appreciated the living room as well although I, as a solo traveler, had the feeling that it was more difficult to meet people here during my stay

Centrum is central of Old Town! Easy to get to with lots of shops around. Great communal kitchen and dining room for sharing adventures and food. Central also means you see hear clearly

Sandra was the nicest person ever, she made my check out super smooth, she gave me a locker to store my belongings until taking my night bus, not only but also gave me full access to the hostel to use its facilities without any extra charge, I also used her advice a lot on what to do and where to go

The location is super convenient — just outside the city center and right along the beach. Even my friends who came to visit were welcomed so warmly, which says a lot about the vibe here

it’s a party hostel, where everyone goes out every night to two bars, and then everyone sits on the beach until morning (the beach is five steps from the hostel, amazing location)

10 meters to the beach on a hungover day is all one could want really. The hostel staff is the best and knows all the good spots to go. 10/10 would recommend this place!

We stayed in the king deluxe room. Breathtaking view from the terrace, sea front. Space for parking for up to three cars. Hosts are super sweet, helpful and responsive when needed

What an amazing place, beautiful big, clean room, large balcony with stunning views and you couldn’t ask for nicer hosts. They couldn’t do enough for us and give us advice on where to go and what to see

About 45 minutes to 1 hr walk to Kotor downtown. Taxi costs around 5-8 euros per way. Kettle, water and coffee/tea in the room would be good additions. We loved the room and We enjoyed our stay

Beautiful and clean apartment with a pool. Our host was extremely nice and helpful. We would absolutely recommend it since it is also very affordable :)

The rooms are very nicely decorated and actually look much better than the photos on the internet suggest. The villa is located slightly above the bay, so you have a wonderful view from here
