D&D Apartments in Tivat

Ok, having posted a review they replied. So lets start again.

We booked a package holiday so we never got a "contract" telling us to advise arrival time, how about you could have sent an email asking for arrival time.

Parking behind the apartments - why did you not mention this very important info during the 20 minute Google translate conversation you had on arrival. Would have been nicer than her at my door telling me the police were coming (BTW I asked the neighbour the night before, not after she had shouted at me).

The door cards .... oh yeah we must have thought, let's leave the do not disturb cards on ALL week and have the rubbish pile up in the room, not get the floors swept or mopped and let's not get clean bedding or towels all week !!!!!!!!! Yeah not appealing.
We assume our cards were marked from arrival so they were punishing us. You decide who is lying.

The views, yes you can see the bay and mountains to the right BUT there IS NO BAY VIEW FROM IN FRONT AND TO THE LEFT. Why should we have to look on the Internet for recent pics (other travellers true pics) THEY should be truthful about the true views.

On arrival, if in a car, they should be nice and advise you can drive to the next street and drop cases/people off, then drive back to the parking area .....never saw that, just struggling people getting up that extended 1st flight.

The photos of the view are very old, there is now a HUGE shopping centre/apartment block, a casino and several blocks of flats in front. To the right we had a mountain view in the far distance but an ugly scrappy concrete building next door. We were in right hand room (room 9) which had the mountain view. In rooms on the other side you have less views as a solid barrier between balconies.

Do not dare to arrive outside of working hours, we arrived at midnight due to the flight arriving about 10pm, got told we could have been refused until 8am leaving us to sleep in our car overnight. She was very frosty, tapping her watch constantly and doing a sleep motion with her hands. We could do nothing about this, the flight time was out of our control. God forbid you knock on the door and not use the door bell (never saw one), got told it was basic culture.

We have never before (4+ hotels/apartments a year for the last 20 years) had to put a sign out to get them to clean the room. Therefore, they never entered in the week we were there.

Do not park on the road behind which reduces the steps to climb to get to upper floors. There are a lot of stairs.

You must contact them 24 hours before to advise arrival time, got told off for that, we never got any email from them.

I know they will reply to this, if their accusing email replies are anything to go by. Not a friendly place.
