value for money, good location, facilities very old
Great breakfast and wonderful service at the breakfast. The spa area was freshly renovated and smelled of lacquer. The female sauna was not operational. The steam bath (Turkish hammam) was marked as free in the hotel description, but the staff told us that it needed a reservation and wouldn't let us use it. Worst of all and something that is inconceivable for a hotel in this category, they were out...
Ok not great . Dan improve on service , breakfast is good
. Beautiful hotel with good amenities. Excellent service
Very beautiful hotel, every thing was amazing just the breakfast is poor.
Our experience at Marriott Fez was fantastic.Friends holiday with a group of seven adults. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was great . The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making sure we felt at home. It was one of our friends' birthday on the day of arrival and we had a fantastic birthday surprise from the manageress.
Thanks to the entire team...

It’s not a bad hotel, but its rooms are a bit old. I paid 1400D to ask for a normal double room and asked it to be “quite” but it’s not. The room locates right next to a main street so during the whole night you can hear endless cars, motors and police car alarms. The window fully closed yet blocked no noise. Great place been here before. Has a nightclub on the side of it but only arab music.
Was not happy with the view would prefer the pool view. Great hotel as always.
Good value hotel, clean, well mannered staff and good location. Wafa idrissi was really nice to deal with made my stay smooth and worry free. Recommend.
skimming pool closes early, breakfast bad quality not organised
A standard large hotel with parking, which is convenient for arriving at night, but the facilities are old, the food is local, and there is a large swimming pool in the center. It is relatively plain and has no special features, but it is solid.

Lovely grounds and interior. Bedroom clean and good shower. Staff very friendly. Good buffet selection but plates cold and sometimes some food not hot enough either.
They boast 5* and it probably was many years ago. You can tell from the reception rooms it was obviously somewhere really special in its day. However the rooms are a let down. Old tired furniture, poorly maintained items, no safe boxes (apparently some rooms had them but you could lift them up!), air con poor.... with some good maintenance they could make the rooms so much better. Buffet style...
Pretty good hotel. The hotel is very luxurious at entry. There are pretty chandeliers and nice Moroccan rugs. The hotel is nice. It was the food that made me drop a star. The food was terrible. Cats were roaming the bottom floor which was very interesting. The pool area was nice and during the night, there was a dj. My room was very nice and other than the food, I have no complaints. I recommend!

Our tour checked in. Then my buddy & I go back to the desk saying that "1" bed won't work for us. The agent attempted to apologize & said they are all full! Then our guide came over & all of a sudden they have a room avail with 2 beds. Our whole wing appeared vacant. No wine avail with dinner. Can get alcohol downstairs at the bar. Our elevator would not go to the ground floor where the restauarant...
Amazing hotel! The accommodation was very comfortable, the service was outstanding, and the staff made me feel very welcome. Everything was well organized. I would definitely stay here again.
It was an amazing experience! The place has some amazing views and has a great location.
My belief is firm: the heart and soul of any truly memorable experience are its people and staff. In this regard, my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Aymane is not merely an incredible host; he is a maestro of hospitality, ensuring my family felt a profound, genuine sense of 'home' from the moment we arrived...
Overall was good. Firstly i can't stop applause to everything which is hospitality, cleanness, location, and dishes.
So nice
Amazing time will definitely stay here again
Parking is very convenient. There is a whole private area. It feels very safe. The hotel room is also very large. The room has a good view. You can see the old city. It is very cost-effective for more than 500 per night. The hygiene is also very clean.

This hotel benefits from a highly convenient location, with numerous dining and shopping options in the vicinity.
Amazing service - clean facilities- staff helpful - just amazing overall stay - food was amazing at the restaurant- was staying during afcon and even with the hustle and bustle of the hotel being a host for a football club . The hotel was exceptionally amazing - walkable to a lot of cafes and restaurants
All good: services, room, breakfast…
The welcome was very cold upon arrival; we didn't feel at all welcome. The service was far from what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel; I'd say it was more like a 2-star. There were many glitches in the available rooms (technical problems, malfunctioning equipment, etc.), which really spoiled the stay despite the hotel's good location.
Very good. Great amenities and breakfast. Super kind staff.

Very good location which near the Fes train station and 10 minutes walking distance to the nearest shopping mall. Free football live streaming with big TV inside the hotel that’s very fit for football lovers. Food quality is nice at the restaurant with reasonable price. A good hotel choice for budget travellers.
Asafi is good place ifran is close. Cloose to train station als
Excellent location close to the train station but with minimal room amenities.
Excellent network hotel, convenient location near the station. Comfortable rooms, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff

The receptionist checked us in quickly, and after we confirmed our room online, they responded clearly and promptly. The housekeeping service was attentive and the explanations were clear. All the hotel staff were friendly and polite, and the housekeeping was excellent. Highly recommended.
Wonderful place, beautiful facilities, amazing employees, service excellence as it should be, really nice place, geeat food (we ate in the Italian restaurant), very good room service too. Just great hospitality. I will definitely come back to the Hotel Sahrai when returning to Fes. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable 🙏
We had a great visit at Sahrai Hotel.
Our room was very nice and the lobby and public rooms were pretty and interesting. Interesting architecture and decor!

This place is wonderful but its the staff that makes it amazing. Particularly the restaurant staff - the lead server Ahmed makes you feel at home and takes the best care. I always have a wonderful experience because of him. Definetly go to the Moroccan restaurant, such professionals there!!
The service at the hotel left something to be desired except for the man who checked us in at 11pm on 27/11/25, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He went above and beyond and the rest of the staff should follow his lead in terms of what great service looks like. Stayed 3 nights on group tour, hotel very good. The building is fairly old, which is evident, but still grandly enjoyable. Rooms bigger than average, many with great views and comfortable beds. Bathroom was dated but worked fine. Buffet meals in the restaurant were quite good with a wide variety of food and speedy to have your meals. All staff are helpful with English and/or French. Only downside...
I went only for the fabulous views of the mountains and the city. Perhaps because it was getting late, I had the worst service: we waited for ever to get the food and drinks.
I loved this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can change all kinds of foreign money at the desk. I was able to change two different kinds of money into dirhams. The staff that greeted me and took my luggage up was wonderful. The views from the bedroom windows over the city are gorgeous. You can look out into the city and at night the lights twinkle. I didn't even want to close...
+ Excellent hotel location and stunning views of the city from the hill;
+ Very quiet at night, fresh air, great rest;
+ Comfortable grounds with an observation deck and gazebos;
+ Private indoor parking;
+ Good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel;
+ Nearby walking area and attractions on the mountain;
+ Very friendly staff;
~ Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but everything is delicious.
I came for drinks at the bar rather than staying in the actual hotel itself. However, on the way out I used the ATM machine in the lobby. It did NOT notify me that it would be taking a fee and did NOT notify me what that fee would be. When the transaction went through it took 65dh. DO NOT USE THIS ATM - UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HIT WITH HIGH HIDDEN FEES. Very Disappointing!!!

After all bad impressions from Morocco this hotel was like a fresh air for us!

Great hotel. Enjoyed the stay at Ramada.
The hotel is conveniently located near the center of the new city. Although it's a bit far from the old city, it's a good option for quieter travelers. The hotel facilities are average, the swimming pool is small on the second floor, and the rooms are of average quality.
The hotel's WiFi coverage is exceptionally comprehensive. Whether in the room, lobby, restaurant, or even in the corners of the hallways, the WiFi signal is strong and never disconnects. I tested it in various locations throughout the hotel and the speed was very stable, allowing me to stream videos, play games, and download files without any issues. Dar Victoria, the urban oasis, has become my happy place. Or happy palace in this case. We were welcomed by Hassan who was wonderfully friendly towards us, while clearly explaining all the in and outs, mapping out how we can make best of our time in Fes. The Dark Victoria Riad is an totally amazing place to stay in historic Fes. It is located in a narrow side street close to the entrances to the mind-blowing Medina. It is a good thing that it isn't actually in the maze of the Medina as this makes it much easier to come and go with luggage, get taxis etc. Once you enter through the unassuming entrance you are in a central space with the real wow factor...
An exceptional riad with amazing interior design and very polite staff (including a cute cat).
Dar Victoria is a beautiful home in Fes that was transformed into a wonderful guesthouse just steps away from the old Medina. While the rooms were comfortable, the outstanding feature is the attentive service that the staff provides each guest. The daily breakfast provided was a delicious selection of Moroccan flavors, a wonderful way to start every day.
Arnez, Hassan and Ali have the most wonderful, polite and warm personalities. The staff were accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend a visit!

We are a family of 3 that stayed in Saffron and the suite was beautiful and very spacious. Khadija was extraordinarily helpful with absolutely everything we needed including food, transportation, and guides. True Moroccan hospitality!
Wonderfull Riad at the edge of the old Medina. Easy to reach by taxi. Short walk to Medina. Lovely breakfast! The hammam was basic but lovely. Great private rooftop terrace
The location is conveniently located to the parking lot by the pharmacy. It’s a beautiful renovated traditional Riad with some modern update and a full service hammam attached. The common areas are
nicely appointed starting with a nice fountain for swimming, and an adjacent reading room with a cozy fireplace to relax and wind down and recount your adventures in the souks.
The Riad is a but outside the city center, super easy to reach though. The stay was super nice and comfortable. And the food we were served was made with so much love, that we felt like home. It’s very clean and they pay lot of attention to the guest needs. Totally recommend. And get a dinner at their place ;)

This place is a gem! I have stayed many times and will continue to come and enjoy my time in this beautiful city, in this beautiful ryad with a staff that is exemplary.
An outstanding luxury hotel experience on a global level. The palace is stunning, the suite was beautifully designed, and the bathroom was exceptionally elegant. Moroccan cuisine was delicious and carefully prepared. What truly sets this place apart is the impeccable service and the genuine attention given to every guest, making the stay unforgettable.
Palais Sheherazade is a true masterpiece, where elegance, history, and serenity come together perfectly. From the breathtaking architecture to the exceptional hospitality, every detail reflects refinement and authenticity. The staff’s warmth and professionalism elevate the experience to an unforgettable level. More than a stay, it is a timeless experience that remains in the heart long after leaving

The hotel is easy to find, right near the Blue Gate. However, traditional accommodations like this often have drawbacks such as poor soundproofing and a cold temperature. But the price is indeed reasonable, the hot water supply is good, and the owner is friendly and patient.
Excellent riad, located at the entrance to the Medina, easily accessible by taxi from the train station. Friendly staff, clean, cozy. Very comfortable mattresses to relax and get a good night's sleep. A great breakfast with a wide variety. I will definitely come back to this place again)
The staff are very friendly, but as it's a family-run business, it has a strong local feel. Great museum! Quite extensive coverage of historical details + building itself.
What to watch out:
- it is not a typical ‘Arts’ museum. There are no arts per se. I’d call it history & anthropology
- insanely beautiful building! Pure joy looking at zellige’s and the wooden work
- ISIC students get a free exit!
- normal price is 60 MAD
Amazing amount of information and beautiful artifacts. I also loved the 200 year old garden with its stately specimens. But, they need to put benches opposite the video screens so one can rest one's tired feet while watching. Also, it's a good idea to take some snacks and a drink with you to have midway through, while sitting in the courtyard, to avoid brain overload!! 60 dirham entry fee.
Recommended by a guide and I went with no expectations. It is a newish museum (opened last year) and not many tourists when I visited so you get the whole place to yourself. Museum of Islamic art ❤️
The museum is wonderful from the inside. There is a large garden that covers half of the museum’s area, which creates a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Absolutely a must visit while you are in Fez. Located next door to Hotel Batha, this museum provides some insights into the incredibly long history of Morocco, of Fez and it's people. You may have the place to yourself, there were literally more guards than visitors and when you see the artifacts you will know why. The gardens and the courtyards are alone worth the price of admission.
