The location was great, close to the bus stop for Chefchaouen and the train station, so it was easy to get around. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel in location and cleanliness

There's no kettle in the room or any tea/coffee making facilities that you expect in a 5star hotel... Lighting is poor inside, with two bedside lamps to light the whole room! Add that to the fact that I've been waiting 2 days for a cup that I've asked reception to send to my room, and it would give you an example of the service here. A hotel in the Moroccan city of Fez, located on a main street. Clean and elegant, the staff are very polite, and their breakfast is amazing. I advise anyone who goes to Fez to stay there.

I loved this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can change all kinds of foreign money at the desk. I was able to change two different kinds of money into dirhams. The staff that greeted me and took my luggage up was wonderful. The views from the bedroom windows over the city are gorgeous. You can look out into the city and at night the lights twinkle. I came for drinks at the bar rather than staying in the actual hotel itself. However, on the way out I used the ATM machine in the lobby. It did NOT notify me that it would be taking a fee and did NOT notify me what that fee would be. When the transaction went through it took 65dh. DO NOT USE THIS ATM - UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HIT WITH HIGH HIDDEN FEES. Very Disappointing!!!

Got a very good price and stayed two nights visiting old Fez which is just below the hotel- see photos of the view! Breakfast was fine with delicious pastries and freshly cooked omelettes. Its not a new hotel so has a good position out of town overlooking the valley. It has a cool open air pool. The flies can be a big of a nuisance if sunbathing Rooms are a good size, clean and some have super views over the valley. Helpful stuff, always made sure we as two girls were getting the right transfer to the group tour, guided us to meeting point, made sure we are happy about everything. Really exceptional service and care about the guests.

This is the best place where we ate Maroccan food in Fès.The food was just amazing, fresh and very tasty! We have tried other restaurants here but it is definitely much much better than the others in the marroccan style! We definitely recommend it. The staff at the Dar Tazi is so kind hearted and friendly. From the roof, you have the best view possible on the medina and you should really try their selection of moroccan salads. The hotel is located right outside the old city, close to Bab Rcif.
