It’s not a bad hotel, but its rooms are a bit old. I paid 1400D to ask for a normal double room and asked it to be “quite” but it’s not. The room locates right next to a main street so during the whole night you can hear endless cars, motors and police car alarms. The window fully closed yet blocked no noise. AC needs to be replaced to new one as it howling every few minutes like a diesel engine. The...

Great place been here before. Has a nightclub on the side of it but only arab music. Was not happy with the view would prefer the pool view. Great hotel as always.
Good value hotel, clean, well mannered staff and good location. Wafa idrissi was really nice to deal with made my stay smooth and worry free. Recommend.
skimming pool closes early, breakfast bad quality not organised
A standard large hotel with parking, which is convenient for arriving at night, but the facilities are old, the food is local, and there is a large swimming pool in the center. It is relatively plain and has no special features, but it is solid.

Lovely grounds and interior. Bedroom clean and good shower. Staff very friendly. Good buffet selection but plates cold and sometimes some food not hot enough either.
They boast 5* and it probably was many years ago. You can tell from the reception rooms it was obviously somewhere really special in its day. However the rooms are a let down. Old tired furniture, poorly maintained items, no safe boxes (apparently some rooms had them but you could lift them up!), air con poor.... with some good maintenance they could make the rooms so much better. Buffet style...
Pretty good hotel. The hotel is very luxurious at entry. There are pretty chandeliers and nice Moroccan rugs. The hotel is nice. It was the food that made me drop a star. The food was terrible. Cats were roaming the bottom floor which was very interesting. The pool area was nice and during the night, there was a dj. My room was very nice and other than the food, I have no complaints. I recommend!

Great breakfast and wonderful service at the breakfast. The spa area was freshly renovated and smelled of lacquer. The female sauna was not operational. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making sure we felt at home. This hotel benefits from a highly convenient location, with numerous dining and shopping options in the vicinity.
Amazing service - clean facilities- staff helpful - just amazing overall stay - food was amazing at the restaurant- was staying during afcon and even with the hustle and bustle of the hotel being a host for a football club . The hotel was exceptionally amazing - walkable to a lot of cafes and restaurants
All good: services, room, breakfast…
The welcome was very cold upon arrival; we didn't feel at all welcome. The service was far from what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel; I'd say it was more like a 2-star. There were many glitches in the available rooms (technical problems, malfunctioning equipment, etc.), which really spoiled the stay despite the hotel's good location.
Very good. Great amenities and breakfast. Super kind staff.
Excellent place, beautiful, lots of things to visit, I really recommend

Amazing hotel! The accommodation was very comfortable, the service was outstanding, and the staff made me feel very welcome. Everything was well organized. I would definitely stay here again.
It was an amazing experience! The place has some amazing views and has a great location. My belief is firm: the heart and soul of any truly memorable experience are its people and staff. In this regard, my stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Stayed 3 nights on group tour, hotel very good. The building is fairly old, which is evident, but still grandly enjoyable. Rooms bigger than average, many with great views and comfortable beds. Bathroom was dated but worked fine. Buffet meals in the restaurant were quite good with a wide variety of food and speedy to have your meals. All staff are helpful with English and/or French. Only downside...
I went only for the fabulous views of the mountains and the city. Perhaps because it was getting late, I had the worst service: we waited for ever to get the food and drinks.
I loved this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can change all kinds of foreign money at the desk. I was able to change two different kinds of money into dirhams. The staff that greeted me and took my luggage up was wonderful. The views from the bedroom windows over the city are gorgeous. You can look out into the city and at night the lights twinkle. I didn't even want to close...
+ Excellent hotel location and stunning views of the city from the hill; + Very quiet at night, fresh air, great rest; + Comfortable grounds with an observation deck and gazebos; + Private indoor parking; + Good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel; + Nearby walking area and attractions on the mountain; + Very friendly staff; ~ Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but everything is delicious.
I came for drinks at the bar rather than staying in the actual hotel itself. However, on the way out I used the ATM machine in the lobby. It did NOT notify me that it would be taking a fee and did NOT notify me what that fee would be. When the transaction went through it took 65dh. DO NOT USE THIS ATM - UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HIT WITH HIGH HIDDEN FEES. Very Disappointing!!!

Personally, I really enjoyed my time at Hotel Menzeh Zalagh and I would return here again, both on my own and with my family. The hotel itself is beautifully furnished and decorated - it has a Moroccan flair with Western touches which is a perfect mix for those who want to explore a new culture while still enjoying familiar comforts. My room was comfortable and clean, and all the linen smelt fresh...
The outside property of the hotel is beautiful. The surrounding area looks terrible. The rooms have balconies facing the pool or garden view. My room was okay. The rooms could stand some improvements and better housekeeping. The location did have transportation.
The staff at the hotel, especially the reception staff were very courteous and helpful throughout my stay. Overall experience staying at Zalagh was great! I would prefer to stay again if I visit FEZ next.
This large hotel has great views, is in a good location, short walk to a large, modern shopping centre. There is a train nearby below the hotel and you do hear it but its not too loud. Nice restaraunt with buffet breakfast. There is a small shop across the road to buy water etc. Shower over the bath. Has WiFi. Nice pool area and terrace balcony.

The hotel is easy to find, right near the Blue Gate. However, traditional accommodations like this often have drawbacks such as poor soundproofing and a cold temperature. But the price is indeed reasonable, the hot water supply is good, and the owner is friendly and patient.
Excellent riad, located at the entrance to the Medina, easily accessible by taxi from the train station. Friendly staff, clean, cozy. Very comfortable mattresses to relax and get a good night's sleep. A great breakfast with a wide variety. I will definitely come back to this place again)
The staff are very friendly, but as it's a family-run business, it has a strong local feel. I had trouble opening the door in the morning, and there was no one at the front desk, so I called the emergency number, but there was no response. The facilities are adequate, but the place isn't very clean. I recommend this place for budget travelers.
Had a wonderful stay The staff were super kind, the room was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Highly recommend!!
Second time staying here and it’s still amazing! The hotel is super beautiful, every detail is well taken care of, and the vibe is just perfect. Totally recommend it 100%!
We enjoyed our stay at this riad. The host gave us a warm welcome and was able to arrange a taxi for us at 3 a.m. at a good price. The rooms are simply good for the price. Our room had air conditioning, a TV with YouTube, and good Wi-Fi. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Good. Being in the old medina, it can be a bit hard to find, and the narrow alley it was on could be a bit dark at night. It took a bit of effort to get change and a receipt, but it came through in the end. If you like riads in medinas, it is a good choice.
In the heart of the Old Medina 🤍, this Riad truly exceeded our expectations! The staff’s hospitality was incredible—Bilal went above and beyond to take care of my mother and me. The Dark Victoria Riad is an totally amazing place to stay in historic Fes. It is located in a narrow side street close to the entrances to the mind-blowing Medina. It is a good thing that it isn't actually in the maze of the Medina as this makes it much easier to come and go with luggage, get taxis etc. Once you enter through the unassuming entrance you are in a central space with the real wow factor...
An exceptional riad with amazing interior design and very polite staff (including a cute cat).
Dar Victoria is a beautiful home in Fes that was transformed into a wonderful guesthouse just steps away from the old Medina.
