Stayed 3 nights on group tour, hotel very good. The building is fairly old, which is evident, but still grandly enjoyable. Rooms bigger than average, many with great views and comfortable beds. Bathroom was dated but worked fine. Buffet meals in the restaurant were quite good with a wide variety of food and speedy to have your meals. All staff are helpful with English and/or French. Only downside I saw was the hotel is a couple kms from city centre, so you need transportation or taxi, not really walkable to much. Also, pillows very firm.

I went only for the fabulous views of the mountains and the city. Perhaps because it was getting late, I had the worst service: we waited for ever to get the food and drinks.

Stayed 3 nights. The rooms smelled like mold/mildew. Very outdated. Food in restaurant was disappointing. Morning breakfast buffet had shortage of coffee/cups as well as dishes. View is only redeeming factor but given room, did not make up for the aroma.

I loved this place. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. You can change all kinds of foreign money at the desk. I was able to change two different kinds of money into dirhams. The staff that greeted me and took my luggage up was wonderful. The views from the bedroom windows over the city are gorgeous. You can look out into the city and at night the lights twinkle. I didn't even want to close my curtains. It was a little too chilly to use the pool but if I come back during warmer weather it looks nice. Nice little patio area near the pool to sit and relax and have a drink or tea if you choose. I really enjoyed my stay here.

+ Very quiet at night, fresh air, great rest;
+ Comfortable grounds with an observation deck and gazebos;

~ Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but everything is delicious.

I came for drinks at the bar rather than staying in the actual hotel itself. However, on the way out I used the ATM machine in the lobby. It did NOT notify me that it would be taking a fee and did NOT notify me what that fee would be. When the transaction went through it took 65dh. DO NOT USE THIS ATM - UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HIT WITH HIGH HIDDEN FEES. Very Disappointing!!!

Good: View from Terrace and half the rooms. (Although noise comes along with that view). Bad: No air Location poor - not safe No store near by Meal options Ugly; No water. Seriously, no water unless you pay for it. So you are in a country you can’t drink the water and none is provided in the room or in the restaurant. Outrageous! Seriously think of being elsewhere. Their clientele is basically tour groups.

Got a very good price and stayed two nights visiting old Fez which is just below the hotel- see photos of the view! Breakfast was fine with delicious pastries and freshly cooked omelettes. Try and avoid going to eat when the large tour groups are in. Room was perfect and very large. Only problem was trying to get a taxi back to the hotel. Many drivers refused for some reason and said they were going in a different direction. This happened both days which is a bit annoying and time consuming.
