The hotel is easy to find, right near the Blue Gate. However, traditional accommodations like this often have drawbacks such as poor soundproofing and a cold temperature. But the price is indeed reasonable, the hot water supply is good, and the owner is friendly and patient.

The staff are very friendly, but as it's a family-run business, it has a strong local feel. I had trouble opening the door in the morning, and there was no one at the front desk, so I called the emergency number, but there was no response. Good. Being in the old medina, it can be a bit hard to find, and the narrow alley it was on could be a bit dark at night. It took a bit of effort to get change and a receipt, but it came through in the end. If you like riads in medinas, it is a good choice.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was nice with a good variety, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. Overall, a great stay.

Upon checkin they couldn’t find our booking and told us we didn’t have one. They gave us a room and then tried to charge us for it the next day. Thankfully I had the receipt for my purchase and was able to show this and eventually had the charges withdrawn after they were insistent that I had to pay again. Additionally there was constant noise of furniture moving above us the whole time.

The location is conveniently located to the parking lot by the pharmacy. It’s a beautiful renovated traditional Riad with some modern update and a full service hammam attached. The common areas are nicely appointed starting with a nice fountain for swimming, and an adjacent reading room with a cozy fireplace to relax and wind down and recount your adventures in the souks.
