Good location. Better choice if you prefer a proper hotel than the old apartment in the city, for about same or less than money.

We had a comfortable stay in Marriot, the room was spacious and the location was close to every where, the service was great as well

This hotel is more like a 4 stars hotel instead of 5 stars, cleanliness can be improved, and I’d suggest the hotel to do some regular touch up, our toilet door was cracked. The toilet bowl cover still has some stains probably from the previous guest, gross. No in room slipper was provided in the room, even the ‘privacy please’ sign was not provided (I think the housekeeper missed out)

Readily available service from the front of house and reception staff.  Polite and courteous, little things like umbrellas came in handy with the change in weather.  Great selection of food at breakfast and helpful staff again.  Only thing that was missing was that extra personal touch.

This is still my go-to choice for value in Amsterdam. It's convenient for getting everywhere, and I'm already super familiar with the surrounding area. Plus, I really love De Pijp, so I'm hoping to stay here again next time!

Cozy Room Reservation I was initially assigned a loft-style room. It was pretty and cozy, but it was cold. So, I changed rooms. The one I was given was on the third floor, in the middle, so it was warm. The breakfast was amazing. It was incredibly delicious.

The first room allocated was full of cigarette smell, but the staff was helpful enough to let us change into another one immediately.  The bike racks are a bit small and full though.

Beautiful hotel from the moment you walk in the doors rooms are well presented clean and a good size for Amsterdam, my only issue was the mattress toppers were beyond worn and all bubbley which made it feel like the bed was full of crumbs which made for a sleepless night, other then that the the staff were as friendly and warm as could be which just added to the hotels overall charm.

The Sofitel Legend Hotel, while the building itself is old and of okay quality, suffers from subpar room decor and maintenance, making it unworthy of the price. Just for your reference!

Overall, this stay was just average! The hotel boasts a fantastic view, and the surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the window offered a wide view. The front desk staff were reasonably friendly and recommended nearby attractions. I like this shop very much. The location is good and the waiters are courteous. But the room is a bit small and two luggages can't be accommodated. Got a fire alarm in the middle of the night which seriously affected the rest, the hotel did nothing but just an apology letter, staffs are generally not proactive and not so friendly.
