Good location. Better choice if you prefer a proper hotel than the old apartment in the city, for about same or less than money.

We had a comfortable stay in Marriot, the room was spacious and the location was close to every where, the service was great as well

This hotel is more like a 4 stars hotel instead of 5 stars, cleanliness can be improved, and I’d suggest the hotel to do some regular touch up, our toilet door was cracked. The toilet bowl cover still has some stains probably from the previous guest, gross. No in room slipper was provided in the room, even the ‘privacy please’ sign was not provided (I think the housekeeper missed out)

Readily available service from the front of house and reception staff.  Polite and courteous, little things like umbrellas came in handy with the change in weather.  Great selection of food at breakfast and helpful staff again.  Only thing that was missing was that extra personal touch.

This is still my go-to choice for value in Amsterdam. It's convenient for getting everywhere, and I'm already super familiar with the surrounding area. Plus, I really love De Pijp, so I'm hoping to stay here again next time!

The location near Amsterdam Central Station in the Netherlands is excellent, and the service is also very good. The breakfast is delicious, and the environment is quite pleasant. However, you need to remind them daily for mineral water, slippers, and toothbrushes, otherwise they won't replenish them.

We stayed here the last week it was open. I can understand why the owners are going to spend the next two years renovating the place. It was a little on the tired side. A refresh would not hurt. Having said that, I hope the owners don't take away some of the modernist charm of the place. The first room allocated was full of cigarette smell, but the staff was helpful enough to let us change into another one immediately.  The bike racks are a bit small and full though.

Beautiful hotel from the moment you walk in the doors rooms are well presented clean and a good size for Amsterdam, my only issue was the mattress toppers were beyond worn and all bubbley which made it feel like the bed was full of crumbs which made for a sleepless night, other then that the the staff were as friendly and warm as could be which just added to the hotels overall charm.

High luxurious hotel, classic with butler service and they did free upgrade me to canal view room!

The Sofitel Legend Hotel, while the building itself is old and of okay quality, suffers from subpar room decor and maintenance, making it unworthy of the price. Just for your reference!

Overall, this stay was just average! The hotel boasts a fantastic view, and the surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the window offered a wide view. The front desk staff were reasonably friendly and recommended nearby attractions. The breakfast had a good variety of options and was decent in taste.

I like this shop very much. The location is good and the waiters are courteous. But the room is a bit small and two luggages can't be accommodated. Elevator did not work during our stay for 3 days.. Unfortunately they do not even provide bottle of water in the room. That was the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. Cleaning was ok .
