Good hostel for this affordable price!! But the wc not really clean

You need to take a free ferry to get to the hostel from Amsterdam centraal station.

This hostel offers excellent value for money. Its location is superb, just a 2-minute walk after taking the free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station. The free ferry runs almost every five minutes, which is super convenient.

Clean, comfy, affordable, and in a great spot. Would stay again.

I was here as part of a large group the staff were friendly and polite and my room (1.45) was although basic very clean and well presented the hostel is close to the town centre but not too close about 20mins by tram to the central station the the hostel has no parking except street parking so if you have a car its a bit troublesome but other than that very good

The Hostel had the best location I could have hoped for. Right in the dead center of all the bars. Plus the train station was a few minutes of a walking distance, restaurants and convenience stores were nearby too. The only reason I wont give it a 5 star was because you can't make too much noise at night, and the people in my room had stinky feet.

The hostel has only mixed dorms and the stairs to reach them are deadly. The reception staff is good. They have an associated bar next door. Room was ok. Had common showers and bathroom on the floor. Staff really friendly and close to the central station! I met a lot of nice people the room, specially a lot of French! Just recommend you to take your own padlock and flip flops to take a shower, during the day the shower is nice and clean but morning and nights it’s a little bit dirty.

4 cyclists on holiday from uk Hostel is quite a way out of Haarlem and next to a busy road but on arrival we discovered we had been given a room at the back facing the park - much appreciated as 4 cyclists on a cycle/touring holiday. Nice for a 2 night stay, it had everything we needed and the included breakfast was nice. Our room had a broken window and the toilet room smelled odd. Other than that it was a great price for the property.

Staff are great, very laid back and welcoming. It's staffed 24/7 which is rare. Comfortable beds which are already made for your arrival, which is also rare. It has a decent vending machine with beer in it! To top it all off there is probably the best lidl in Europe I have been to right across the road!

I like the place except for a lot of ******* and drunkard outside. Also, there’s this hostel guest who never takes a shower and it was stinky at that moment.  The receptionists are very helpful and they have a resident cat, Johny who is so very cute. I sleep near the door. When people spoke and shouted at night, my sleep was totally disrupted.

Recommended Decent accommodation. The staff are very professional. They have a baggage storage before and after check-in, though the latter is restricted to 4pm. There's a microwave and tea and coffee making utensils.

The positive point is the location. They charged for the accommodation at check-in, but so far the charge has not been refunded to the bill.

Decent chilled hostel, easy to find, no issues at all

It was abnormally small, we were sitting with our feet in each other's faces. The blankets and pillows were a dirty yellow and looked like a prison cell, only worse. You have a shared toilet and shower. I wanted to poop, and when I opened the door, a naked guy was taking a dump. I wanted to use the other toilet, and there was a pole showering and singing. I booked Amigo as it was just outside the city and I wanted some rest without city noise. The hostel was a stop away from centraal and a short 5 minute walk from the station and had some nice restaurants next to it. Adequate or above average quality for the price, good location, clean. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom (with three other rooms), then they were nice enough to upgrade us to an en suite, which was even better.

From the moment you come in the reception you can see how clean it is here. And when you go to your room you notice that it’s really clean. The showers are good equipped, the water from the showers it’s how it supposed to be, you really think that you are in a hotel, not in a hostel. Congratulations, your hospitality is very good!

Very friendly staff at reception. The location is easily accessible from Muiderpoort Station. Then you have the tram to explore Amsterdam. Price-quality ratio is absolutely right! Tidy rooms! The location is nice because it's nearby the stores, the plaza, and central station. But suddenly, there are so many bedbugs on their beds, and my partner has so many bedbug bites 😞. Hope they can clean the place soon.

Dirty Rooms This hotel was not very clean. Room had mold on the ceiling. The shower didn’t drain and it over flowed onto the bathroom floor. Hotel was one of the cheaper ones in Amsterdam, but I would still consider very poor quality for the price. As it was still over $300 a night. The staff was very lovely and helpful.
