Melrose Hotel in Amsterdam

Location is generally good. A tram stop is nearby. The room is okay. There are traces of mold on the grout in the shower area. The floor in the room is worn.

The place is in the city center, there are many restaurants around the hotel, it is very convenient to eat, about 20 minutes by taxi from the airport, about 25 minutes walk to central station. Complimentary coffee, chocolate milk is provided in the morning, afternoon/evening is charged. The front desk staff on the night shift was particularly chatty and provided useful information. The room was quite good, the only dissatisfaction was that the room information when booking was not good, I wonder if there is a translation problem? ! We booked a ground floor room (only this room type remained), but the cut was -1 floor, I can only understand as ba*****t basement, not ground floor; These two questions would not have been considered if they had known them earlier. But it was already there and the room was full, so there was no way. The room is clean and hygienic, the accommodation for three people is acceptable, the price is also good value for money, but the information does not match, hope to improve, this is the most unsatisfactory part.

Overall, it's pretty good.

I was wondering why the review score isn't so good for this property, the hotel is nice and clean and has a good location, however their service standard l isn't on the same level of the property, wanted to charge me 12+ euros for one hour of late checkout, while the hotel wasn't so busy, although he heard I was on a call, I was rushed to go out by 11.30

The location was great, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The sheets were fresh and clean, and there were unlimited water refills.

Great location. Some rooms do not have windows but otherwise no frills clean and good vibes.
