It may seem somewhat out of date but I stayed there in 1986! I can recognise the bar (it was called the Getwouwen Bar (the roped bar)) in those days. It was a great place to stay and I stayed there several times.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It is a three star at best. The rooms are basic and dated. Some rooms don't have a fridge, the TVs are tiny. The layout of the hotel makes getting to the far rooms like the scene from the movie "The Shining." Redrum. Near to museum area which is just within 10mins walking distance . We get to checked in earlier around 1pm with no charges which is very nice to us , as long as the room is available. Tram stations just opposite the road very convenient.

Beautiful hotel from the moment you walk in the doors rooms are well presented clean and a good size for Amsterdam, my only issue was the mattress toppers were beyond worn and all bubbley which made it feel like the bed was full of crumbs which made for a sleepless night, other then that the the staff were as friendly and warm as could be which just added to the hotels overall charm.

The NH Maastricht is a somewhat dated hotel. However, the rooms were clean and nicely spacious. The staff was very friendly. Our air conditioning wasn't working at first. After a brief notification at reception, a technician came and fixed the problem. The location is good. The city center is a few minutes away by car.

They weren't prepared for the large influx of groups. The European Hip-Hop Dance Championships were being held at the adjacent MECC! At check-in, they said they were surprised by the large turnout. Long lines for breakfast, all the tables occupied!

The Sofitel Legend Hotel, while the building itself is old and of okay quality, suffers from subpar room decor and maintenance, making it unworthy of the price. Just for your reference!

Had a great experience staying in this hotel. The location is fantastic just 5mins walk from the Amsterdam Centraal station. We just got back from a two night stay here. It’s a great location to visit our friends who live locally. Excellent accommodation and facilities, a very comfy room! Lovely breakfast with so much choice and staff were so pleasant. The hotel is only a 10 minute car journey into the centre of Zwolle. A great hotel, we will see you on our next visit.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and whilst the stay was comfortable, this was perhaps the least pleasurable stay. The room was nice enough, but the bed was poorly made and the bedside lighting was very dim. I would still recommend this hotel as the best in the area.
