The place needs updating. Needs shampoo and better dryer. Very tiny bathroom. Coffee pot was broken. Customer service was minimal

Good value, clean with attentive staff We stayed in a nice room, clean, plenty of space with a good strong shower - no bath. However to room could do with better lighting especially over the wardrobe area where the safe was - could hardly see the numbers! Also the only mirror was in the bathroom

Nice clean and efficient hotel. We arrived after a long day at 2200hrs. Check was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the food service stopped at 2100hrs but they offered to cook us pizza which was very kind and absolutely delicious. Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms are clean, well equipped and perfectly functional. I will definitely be using this hotel in the future.

We did not have any food included because we decided to eat out as everything is close by. It was very clean, big and a nice view over the city.

The hotel is in a great location near train station/shopping mall/supermarket. The indoor swimming pool (which is not too small) is another value added feature too.

The hotel was quite disappointing. The room was very basic, and the grout in the bathroom was dirty. The Dahlmann reception staff were extremely friendly to us. However, the spa area was also quite basic and very crowded, meaning we couldn't use the sauna, and there were 15 people in the small pool. All in all, it was just okay.

About half an hour walk to the city centre, or a 10 minute walk to a bus stop. Very comfortable hotel, a business hotel and mid week will have conferences and meetings. Didn't use the bowling alley

The hotel is located deep in the jungle, built by the river, and the environment is particularly primitive The parking lot is large and you can enter and exit by swiping your card It is convenient to go to the city center and surrounding towns

A good night's sleep I was in Middelburg for a funeral, so I only stayed one night. The room was perfect for my needs - no complaints!

Actually, my wife and I stayed here in August 2023. This is good hotel, opposite the train station. We had a spacious room with two comfortable chairs. Modern bathroom; however, the (sliding) door is partially transparent, so if one of us visits the bathroom at night, the other wakes up as well. Breakfast was OK. The hotel was expensive (we paid over €200 for one night, including breakfast).

Comfortable and nice hotel, 10’ walk from the beach. Staff is excellent. The chef and his team do an amazing job. Never ate a meal without gluten or lactose that was so tateful and beautifully presented. The wine offering is also excellent. Price quality is very good. I already stayed 5 times. And I will return. I was lucky enough to stay here for 2 nights for a work meeting. What a wonderful hotel. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, stylish and had everything you could want. The real highlight was the food.. it was amazing. From fresh tasty breakfast, delicious lunch platters to the most incredible dinner. I would love to visit again, it's a very special place

We had an Amazing stay at Villa de Duinen. The whole team is very friendly and professional. Our arrival was perfect. Room was great, bathroom was very roomy and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful, so refined. Dinner was out of this world, beats many 1&2 stars restaurants of the country, wine pairing was sublime.

Rear room on 2nd floor, no air conditioning, outdated interior and noisy parking lot with cleaning up catering from ground floor

The hotel is adequate for a short trip. Everything you need is there, except for a hairdryer (!), which you should take with you. The furnishings have a few flaws everywhere and of course the room facing the bar is very noisy until late in the evening. But it's OK for a few days.

The room is big enough, the island is very quiet, the scenery is beautiful, and the old lady at the front desk is also very nice. It's really nice to take a bike ride, with 360-degree views. Come here if you want to get drunk on oxygen.

Very, very tired... Rooms are big, but very basic and tired. Too tired for the price - I wouldn't have minded for a budget hotel, but this hotel doesnt sell itself as such. Beds far too soft, linen ripped, no airco, very noisy. Great location, near the beach and restaurants.

What I loved the most was how lovely the people were: All of the staff we met at check-in, at the bar and at breakfast in the morning were super kind and funny. We checked in a bit late which was no problem, they were very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view. Breakfast was plenty, fresh and delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice and modern hotel with comfy beds. Very close to the ferry terminal, and just outside of the old town on Vlieland. Good food in the restaurant, but quite a small collection of cocktails and wine, and the breakfast buffet is unfortunately quite overpriced.

We had coffee at Zeezicht today on the terrace and it was very pleasant to sit there and enjoy the view of the Waddenzee. The coffee was very good. The lady that served was very friendly and professional. The choice of cakes was pretty okay too.

Very cozy hotel, with nice room and friendly staff. The breakfast is good, with various options. Rooms are comfy and of a good size. They have also some good wines - I found my favorite one (Scaia bianca - garganega and chardonnay), what a surprise!

Really quiet spacious room with black out curtains. The double bed is split so they often spread from each other. The bed duvet is LUXURIOUS as they're weighted making it nice and snug. The pillows however, are very hard and heavy and uncomfortable to sleep on. The waterfall shower is amazing and the rituals soaps are divine however there were no tissues in the bathroom nor a fridge in the main room...

We stayed for 4 nights in this excellent hotel and took the room upgrade offered by the desk at check-in at minimal additional cost. This gave us a large room overlooking the courtyard with an excellent bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. There was a separate loo off the entrance corridor. Very nice and "venerable" hotel but also a bit "old fashioned". Great rooms, even better restaurants and breakfast! Restaurant prices in the Michelin -＞ $$$$. The location is great, right on the edge of the center.

Our room was not only called fabulous but it really was.  Great view, good design, and a large corner tub.  No complaints.

The front desk service attitude is very good. The hotel is located next to the station. The food in the restaurant downstairs is delicious. I will stay here again next time.

Hotel location is good as it is near the train station and the size of the room is ok. However, the service of the hotel is one of the worst I have ever encountered. They delay the check-in time as the time for housekeeping of the room overrun. The reception take it for granted for everyone to wait at the lobby for the room to be ready although it has past the check-in time at 3pm. The housekeeping...

The cleaning was not so good. The previous customer's towel was still on the heater. Dust was visible on the table. The espresso machine was clogged because it hadn't been cleaned, so coffee wasn't coming out. None of the 6 coffee machines came out. During check-in, the receptionist was random, but I gave my name, but they said there were no reservations, and that was it. When I gave my first name...

A very quirky design hotel on a former public library , right next to the canal . Friendly staff and service , only downside is the room is rather small .

Love hotel n real value for money! Designed by Marcel Wanders it’s so stylish n functional. Soomin a Korean receptionist was the best, carried all our luggage which she didn’t have to. Best random act of kindness

Love the location, a short walk from the tram station right by the canal, quiet yet close (walking distance) to everywhere. Didn’t have much interactions with the staffs and on the occasion that I did, the staff helped with my issue though, wasn’t friendly or smiling. I booked a garden room and requested one that was quiet and they delivered. Clean room and refilled the complimentary minibar everyday

The location of this hotel is good, easy to walk to several attractions and close to a tram station. It is located in a quiet and convenient area.

We enjoyed our stay as we were happy to be a weekend away. Hereby our feedback: - When entering the room it was icy cold and the room did not look anything like the pictures. One chair was falling apart and the leather was partly ripped off. Some minor details less important is several light bulbs were broken. - Water in the shower did not turn hot. Even when on 50 degrees it was still not hot. -...

It’s a nice hotel, very well decorated, good size rooms, well-equipped. The only reason I did not give a high score is because I did not sleep well due to the fact I could hear groups of people laughing and joking from another room or another balcony until really late. If the hotel could manage the sound issue then it would be an excellent stay.

The room layout is excellent, and the furniture is high-quality. The only drawback is that even with two layers of curtains, light still sees through, and the sofa bed being close to the window might be a bit of a nuisance. Overall, it's great, and it's also welcoming little biscuits.

This July is a bit out of the city center, but the facilities are very new, transportation is very convenient, and the surrounding environment is very nice. It's across from the Olympic Stadium, and there are buses and subways right at the door. It's tulip season, and the streets are lined with tulip beds.

Greta hotel with an excellent vibe. Staff is super friendly and the rooms look pretty chic, with all the amenities you can think of. More like a small apartment then a hotel room. Definitely would stay again.

You’d expect a lot more of the basics for the price. Paper coffee cups instead of real ones. No wine glasses. No mini-bar. No bottle opener. The room was clean and lacking anything that could make it homely. Would I stay here again. In short, not for the price. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a luxury standard facility.

I like the property alot looks very beautiful and luxury but the only thing that bothered me was no atm in the hotel and no way of public transport to the hotel , those are very vital things for people that need transport or money

Nice, quite new, clean hotel just nearby Leeuwarden. Friendly staff. Menu not in English, as typical here. But everyone are speaking English enough. If you want peace and view, choose room in back side, heading towards city. If you want sun and do not mind highway and parking lot, choose front side room. Local specialty is shared balcony for entire floor.

Location may be a bit of a walk from the train station, but it is close to the city centre. Friendly staff, clean room.

Great location to explore the city, conveniently located near big supermarket (Jumbo). Easy connectivity, bus line in front of hotel. Quick 15 min walk to the central station. Staff was helpful with storage of luggage etc.

The single room is very small. The breakfast is mainly cold dishes such as bread spread/cheese and fruit, as well as one or two hot dishes. Toothbrushes and indoor slippers are not provided. The front desk is nice, but the facilities are really just that. The location is very convenient

It was an okay experience. I’ve stayed here before mostly due to the convenient location of being next to the train station, however I feel the hotel needs an update. Light switches were not working properly in the room and it left a tired feel to the property. The management team should consider updating the facilities to reflect most Mercure hotels

We found the price very high, especially because we had to pay separately for the spa. The room was clean and had a fantastic shower. The breakfast was very extensive and of high quality.

It's very convenient to play tennis, there are many tennis courts. The atmosphere is very good

This is a fantastic hotel! The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a comfy bed and all the utensils in the kitchen you could need. There is a frear balcony and lots of things to do.

The highlight of this hotel is the location. Simpson bay is one of the nicest and most beautiful beaches in the island. Other than that the hotel needs love and care. Maintenance is poor and cleanliness is below mediocre.

Have stayed here a couple times - once we stayed a week in the rooms out by the beach with their own patio, and this time just a quick night in the basement room. Both times were clean and enjoyable. Having the beach and restaurant make it easy to enjoy!

this was a fun little local hotel and restaurant it was nice cause it wasn’t a big corporate, but it was quirky and fun right on the beach. we just needed a place to sleep before flying out so we didn’t have an ocean view, if you want ocean view request one of the bungalows on the beach. fun bar with a DJ great drinks restaurant was good!

Breakfast was overdone. Shades in east facing windows allowed too much light!

The place was great but the staff and the rules were not. First one bathroom had no toilet paper and the other less than half a roll. I asked for some and they acted as if I was lying and gave me 1 roll and said when I was out I had to go buy some. That is not a “resort” normality. They also charge you a cleaning fee at check in but require you take out the trash (okay), load the dishwasher (fine)...

The villa is relatively small, with two bathrooms and the bedroom on the second floor. All of them have sloping roofs and are relatively low. The towels are very old and the sheets have holes. It is not far from the city. When I arrived on the first night, the door lock was broken and it was far from the front desk. After more than ten minutes, the staff helped to open the door. Expecting a 1 bedroom apartment - getting a house. Very nice living room with views over the Golf course - and it seem even to Belgium. Kitchen very well equipped with everything but salt and pepper. The beds were super for those who appreciate very soft beds as was the jacuzzi and sauna. Unfortunately the sauna was needed during the nights as we only were offered summer quilts.
