The hotel is just one metro stop from Rotterdam, but it's also a short walk, less than a kilometer. The pedestrian street is nearby, and the Markthal (Market Hall) is also less than a kilometer away on foot. The location is excellent.

The Sofitel Legend Hotel, while the building itself is old and of okay quality, suffers from subpar room decor and maintenance, making it unworthy of the price. Just for your reference!

Very nice, well located hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Service not quite up to American standards and it appears that they use a lot of interns, especially at night and on weekends. It took 5 days to get them to open the room safe, which was left locked by a previous guest.

I'd recommend this hotel. We especially liked the wellness area—small but perfectly formed. It was also quick to get to central Amsterdam using the nearby metro. The room had a pleasing design. An OK hotel I visit often on business travel. Restaurant for dinner is surprisingly good and the staff there are also polite and mostly attentive. Breakfast is mediocre with something that pretends to be scrambled eggs but most probably came from powder in a bag. Some of the rooms are in bad need of renovation. The air in the rooms is quite dusty as I guess the carpets haven't been properly cleaned...

If you're ever staying in Rotterdam and have a car to get around Holland, this place is perfect. Family friendly, quiet, beside the zoo and lots of parking. The price-performance ratio is very high, and finally, a hotel with free parking! The hotel environment is very nice, and the rooms are very spacious. The only downside is that there might not be much nearby, but it's a great place for a vocational school student to rest.

We just got back from a two night stay here. It’s a great location to visit our friends who live locally. Excellent accommodation and facilities, a very comfy room! Lovely breakfast with so much choice and staff were so pleasant. The hotel is only a 10 minute car journey into the centre of Zwolle. A great hotel, we will see you on our next visit.
