Very straightforward hotel with a Scandinavian touch. EXCELLENT BREAKFAST. Really friendly and helpful staff. I felt very cosy here. Highly recommend.

Location is the best cos it’s closed to shops, fish market, park n public transportations esp so easy to get to the airport. Room is dark but with window n it’s very clean n recently renovated. Breakfast is best with variety n tasty. It’s really value for money.

Location is really good but not very accessible to our room with our luggage. We had to take our luggage through the breakfast area.

A family of three stayed in a family room on the 5th floor. The room was a bit cramped, but its location on Karl Johans Gate was excellent, about a 10-minute walk from the central station. Breakfast was good, and if you couldn't make it to breakfast, the front desk would thoughtfully arrange a convenient breakfast for you to take away if informed in advance.

5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal and walking distance to the centre.

It was a wonderful stay and everything was very pleasant. One small suggestion would be to mention that there is no elevator, as guests with larger luggage might need to carry it up the stairs. Other than that, I truly enjoyed our stay.

Nice view from the balcony that we had in our room, although it is some distance walk to where most restaurants are. The buffet breakfast was a real value for money as there was a wide variety. Thank you to the staff who kept my bag with them when I accidentally left it at the reception.

We had a great stay at Scandic Svolvær. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained throughout. Overall, a very comfortable stay and I would happily recommend it.

Price is abit on the high side but very nice balcony views and very friendly front desk staff. Nice area for dining as well. Only downside of staying here is it gets quite noisy when people are walking along the corridors but other than that no complains

Awesome location, lots of cafe and restaurant nearby , clean and very good services. We stayed just a night and we were lucky to see northern light by 15 minutes walking form the hotel ( as advised by the receptionist) A perfect place to spend during your stay in lofoten ❤️

Ok rom, fin utsikt, pent og rent bad! Tidlig og ikke helt tilfredsstillende frokost! Litt ufresh mat og stenger 10.30. Ting ble fort ryddet bort! Kun svart kaffe. Spesiell innsjekking, fikk beskjed om å sjekke ut 11 dagen etterpå mens i bestillingen var det 12. innsjekking pleier å være hyggeligere Pluss for at rommet var klart tidlig!

Central location. Nice pub Located at ground floor. Terrible noise due to near location of rail way. Trains passing all night long.... Elevators didn't work when we needed it. Had to carry lugage using stairs all the way to 5th floor. Breakfast is ok.

You could spend one night here but not longer. The hotel is clean but lacks any personality whatsoever. The rooms are very basic, with no amenities. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable.

We were given a room for folks with disabilities for our first night. The shower felt like a hospital bathroom. The shower curtain was stained. They did offer a regular room for the Sunday night and kindly moved our things for us. The staff were apologetic but unable to provide the proper room for the first night.

Central location is walkable to all the major attractions. The accommodations are overall comfortable. There was a heat wave when we were there and unfortunately, the hotel did not have enough fans for the guests. We were given a very weak vertical fan, which was better than nothing. Breakfast was really good!

Spent a night there in the July month. The room had good air at day, but at night it seems they turn down the air so we were sweating without the covers on in bed.

Have breakfast! They have a good variety of drinks, bread, fruits, and vegetables. It's great! It's located next to McDonald's, straight ahead from the station or tram stop. It's also attached to another hotel.

The hotel is located centrally in town. The room is spacious enough for two people. There is also water and coffee provided at the lobby.

The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. Because we arrived early, the front desk checked and allowed us to check in ahead of time. The location is fantastic; there's a shopping area downstairs, making shopping and transportation extremely convenient. The fish market is less than a 10-minute walk away. Overall, a very good hotel.

The hotel has a great location, just a 3-minute walk from the light rail station. Compared to other hotels in Thon, this one is right in Bergen city center, within 10 minutes of shopping, the boat dock, and Bryggen. The scones at the hotel breakfast were delicious! 😋

The hotel is conveniently located; you can walk to almost anywhere. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the lobby.

The staff is very nice and really helpful! They did everything they could to make it a nice stay. And the hotel itself lies next to the ski area. The skipass and ski rent can be done also in the hotel. But it is a very old hotel and the rooms are not the best for the category this hotel shows. Very old bathrooms. We stayed here one night on our way back from Bergen to Oslo. It is a big sprawling (in a nice way) hotel! Comforting, traditional ski lodge style feel but the room was modern and spacious with a balcony for me, my wife and 15yr old son. The bathroom was very snug though, but clean. Very unique and intriguing building but obviously old so not everything worked well. Rooms are quite hot and no fans are available. Knob for starting shower fell off making it difficult to turn on the shower.

Stayed July 2024 with family of 5 in a one bedroom apartment for one night while driving between the fjords and Oslo. There is a separate bedroom for parents, while the kids slept in the cozy bunk beds and they setup and additional bed for my 3rd child. We rented two cabins in connection with the Skarverennet 2025. The cabins contribute to a nice social setting when we are many colleagues on a trip. We have been regular guests at Bardøla in connection with Skarverennet for around 20 years and we will also return for Skarverennet the weekend 17-19 April 2026!

Old World Charm The shared spaces and grounds of this place give the feeling of staying in a grand estate. The inn keeper is extremely helpful and kind. The property is older and our room was average, but our stay was made memorable by the lovely charm of the inn itself.

I did visit many Spas in Norway but this actually can call a SPA. Nice saunas, cold and hot pools, chilling places and very nice vibe. It gave me back hope that there are places in this country where you can relax and it doesn't smell like communism. Highly recommend 👌
