I booked a room at a higher rate so it allows cancellation. Then my son got sick and I tried to cancel but they got me with a fine print which said cancellation was only possible the day after I booked. I had not come across such ridiculous, policy entrapping customers. Will not consider Marriott again.

This is a budget hotel and you don't get the carpets in your room but you do get decent vinyl flooring. The shower isn't as good as the normal Ibis hotels but it's perfectly good enough. Everyone that worked here was super friendly and helpful, and the location was fantastic. 5 minutes from the airport and a short journey into the centre of Warsaw. A good idea was a soda water machine in the hallway. You could pour water into a bottle. There was only an empty bottle in the room. You filled it up as many times as you wanted :-) The machine had sparkling water, not still water.

Couldn't fault this airport hotel, the bed was comfortable and the room spotless and warm. Only quirk was I went to get a carafe of water from near the elevator, and the blind would raise when I took out the key card.
