Great service, food and spa facilities (although sadly jacuzzi wasn’t working). Would 100% stay again!

We ended up staying at this hotel unexpectedly due to a delayed flight, and the experience turned out to be absolutely wonderful. The rooms are spacious and well designed, with a large bathroom, a big comfortable bed, and plenty of space that gives a touch of understated luxury. Breakfast was excellent – a wide selection of dishes, several types of eggs and pancakes, lots of fruits and jams, and a proper coffee bar. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I don’t understand why people are so confused about this hotel. I read the reviews before booking, and now that I’m actually staying here, I want to share my perspective.

Here’s a simple idea: if you want guaranteed, top-tier, true 5-star luxury, then pay €500–600 per night — that’s just basic economics. You can stay at the Bristol or the Raffles in Warsaw if that’s the level you expect.

For the price you pay here, I think this hotel is a solid choice. The rooms are large by European standards. Yes, the interior is a bit dated, but overall it offers very good value.

And to the commenter who felt that breakfast wasn’t “5-star quality”: I’ve stayed in boutique 5-star hotels in Germany and France, and aside from barista-made coffee (here you make it yourself at the machine) and maybe steak tartare prepared to order, the selection is very comparable — eggs in all forms, fish, meats, pastries, breads, and so on.

Giving it 4 stars due to dated rooms.

Excellent! The hotel is a bit older, but it's an old A8, which means it's still spacious, soft, and comfortable. Breakfast was also good.

I chose this hotel because it looked very good, even though it is far from the city center. Ideally, it would be better to stay in the center. My first impression was positive. The staff stored my luggage in the morning and my room was ready earlier than expected.
Unfortunately, the rest of my stay did not meet the standard of a 5 star hotel. The spa experience was particularly disappointing. There was no availability for a massage, and the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and even a bit ironic. When I asked for a bathrobe for the sauna, I was told to use the towel from my room, which felt completely inappropriate for a hotel of this category. Moreover, the sauna itself had no towels available at all, which I found surprising, as I have stayed in other hotels with saunas that were not even 5 star, and this is usually standard. I eventually received a bathrobe only after asking at reception. The spa facilities were very limited, the sauna was very small, and apart from the pool nothing else was functioning. Overall, the facilities felt poor for a 5 star hotel and, in my opinion, the property does not resemble a true 5 star experience. It is a large hotel, but it clearly needs better maintenance and attention.
I also tried the breakfast (110 PLN), which I found very limited and not worth the price. I didn’t manage to enjoy any proper meal at the hotel, so I ended up going to the city center to eat.
On the positive side, the bar area was spacious and pleasant, although the prices were quite high. The gym was also surprisingly large for a hotel gym, even if I didn’t use it.
Overall, my stay was okay, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel again. My expectations were higher, and the hotel did not deliver the level of service, facilities, or quality that a 5 star property should offer.

The hotel requires a complete renovation - lots of room interior elements needs replacement and also during my stay there was a problem with sewers (pump bursted out I was told). Therefore I had to change my room (but the reception staff was kind and helpful to arrange).
Overall reception service excellent but the hotel itself not so great - plus breakfast is too pricy - 100 PLN per day.

The breakfast was good, and the service was nice. However, the bathtub was broken, and it took the hotel engineer a while to fix it. My room wasn't cleaned until 3 PM; it still hadn't been cleaned when I came back. Doesn't cleaning usually get done before 2 PM?

It's very close to the park, so you can spend a long time exploring and interacting with the animals.

Although it states 5-star, some floors of the hotel are actually 4-star standard. I booked specifically for a 5-star experience, but ended up on a 4-star floor, which I find unacceptable. The room is quite spacious, and the facilities are good apart from being a bit old. However, the lighting in the room is incredibly dim; there's no bright overhead light. Breakfast was quite rich. I particularly liked that the bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub.

Location: Close to a tram/bus stop, allowing you to reach the city center and main attractions in 20 minutes, though Warsaw's public transport can get quite crowded.
Surroundings: There's a fantastic park nearby, great for a morning stroll with lots of animals – that was a pleasant surprise.
Facilities: There's a swimming pool, but it tends to get busy in the evenings.
Room: Four-star quality, and it's rare to find disposable slippers in Europe, which was a nice touch.

Awesome value for a 5 star hotel. Luxurious as hell for a pretty much peanuts. The staff were kind and helpful. Pretty much got only good things to say about this place.
