We wanted to stay in Old Town or Chiado and loved 9Hotel Mercy. The rooms are modern, clean, while appointed. The breakfast bar is really really good. The staff are the star point, they are so friendly and helpful. Who will definitely stay there again if I have the chance. LA

NOT RECOMMENDEDN, do not book this hotel: when something goes wrong, they only care about your money, not about helping you as a guest. I made a simple date mistake, contacted them immediately, and they refused any change or support, even if I paid the difference or a penalty. They chose to keep the money instead of offering a basic solution, which is abusive, untrustworthy behavior that travelers should avoid at all costs.

I really liked this hotel. It had everything I needed and was excellent for the price. Room was impeccably clean and there was a really nice shower. Bed was comfortable. The only disappointing thing was that the rooftop bar was not open. Solid 4 star hotel option for a great price.

Quick overnight before flying out of Lisbon. Great location, friendly staff upgraded us and checked us in early. I would return.

We had to leave the hotel within 10 minutes of checking in and had to book a new stay elsewhere. This hotel was very dirty and is not suitable for families. The room next to ours was performing loud ‘adult’ acts. The room itself was horrible. There was mold, holes in the wall, and it looked unclean. I do not understand how this hotel is considered 4 stars. I would investigate some of the reviews because I believe the positive reviews are fake. I have stayed in hostels in Lisbon that were cleaner and I felt safer at.

Very modern rooms and dining area but with dim lighting. Bed was comfortable but was slightly sunken. Probably should rotate the mattress or upgrade to a new one. Very clean. Friendly staff. Small rooftop bar with great views

Room was comfortable but smaller and older than images showed. Great location and nice little roof top bar. Excellent location!!! Walking to everything!

Very nice place if you would like to enjoy a transitional Fado night. Try to be there either at 8 or at 10.30 the 1st show ends around 10 so if you won't catch it from the start wait till the 2nd show. Plus there is a minimum charge per person.

Great music, loved the experience. Prices are high, so you may consider going for the late service and just have a drink or dessert there (there is a minimum order to seat down) while you enjoy the beautiful performances.

Singers and players still good. Was here 5 years ago, but like a lot of Lisbon has sold its soul to the tourist devil. Full of tour groups who don't respect he protocols of silence and ban on flash photos. Service average, and floor management rude. Look elsewhere for fado authenticity now.
