The location is perfect for this little boutique hotel, you can walk everywhere from here. The walking street in the back gets quite noisy sometimes but the window sound proofing here is not bad, unless it gets too hot in the room and you have to open the window.
The staffs are helpful and friendly, great little breakfast area in the basement serving continental style breakfast buffet with everything you can think off. It is also 24 hours so you can come down for a little coffee/tea break with a tea biscuit or a piece of moist cake if you need the fix. No cook to order menu though. It might be tough for the typical sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrown, cereal Americans.
Since this hotel is adults only (thank God), it is quiet, and I have never heard anything from my neighbors, not even TV or shower/toilet flushes. There is a bottle of Tawny port wine for the room every day at least for my package. Free wifi, mini bar, standard amenities in the bathroom with a manual bidet. They have slippers but no tooth brush and tooth paste. The TV is a Smart TV so you can flip your android phone to it. There USB charging ports on both sides of the bed but outlets only on one side.
Overall I am quite happy with my stay here, and I wouldn't mind staying here again when I am back in Lisbon.

Despite specifically requesting a room away from the elevator when booking, we were assigned one directly opposite it. While the glass windows offered some soundproofing, the garbage truck outside was incredibly loud at night. What was most disruptive was being woken up in the middle of the night by noisy guests returning to their rooms, and then again early in the morning by people walking around upstairs. The room's sound insulation was truly inadequate.

The welcome chocolates were delicious, and the accompanying card was a thoughtful touch – we ended up taking them home with us!

Breakfast was simple but satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the scrambled eggs, hot milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, and the chia seeds with Greek yogurt. It was also nice that the fruit salad varied each day. We absolutely loved the daily afternoon tea cakes; it was a delightful surprise that even when we came for cake at 3 PM, it was still warm!

A great hotel in the heart of Lisbon. I have only met such friendly hotel staff in Singapore. I recommend it to everyone, you really feel at home here) I would like to say a special thank you for the handwritten postcard! It's really cool!!! Good luck!

Location is amazing, off an alley, 5 mins walk away from all the hustle and bustle. 5-10mins walking distance to the metro station. Simple buffet breakfast with nespresso provided. Room was slightly small and came with FOC Porto wine, bathroom was nice and spacious :) 20mins walk to the Alfama district. Overall a great experience here.

The location is very good. It's in the city center. It's easy to walk everywhere. There are windows where you can see the Christmas market on the street. The service is also good. The girl at the front desk patiently explained the tourist routes to us. Lisbon is so beautiful, the climate is pleasant, and the consumption is not high. According to the driver, it’s really a paradise in Europe.

New Year Dinner was 195 € + wine pairing 34 €. Food was very god, tasty, innovative but quality on plates were rather non-standardized (as you observed what fellow guest had on their plates). I even missed yuzu sorbet from my dessert plate and my spuse had to request for it! The waiter couldn’t understand what was wrong with my plate.
Together with foie gras no wine was served, only when I asked whether there should have been wine, we got it AFTERWARDS!
Water was not filled, not without asking for it. Perhaps it was, because we were two males having dinner together, I don’t know. Everybody else around seemed to receive their glasses filled. Our water bottles were emptied by guest in the next table...
You couldn’t make a reservation unless you sent a banktransfer for 50 % of the dinner first. But after 55 minutes of waiting for the check this prepayment was not withdrawn from your bill. Eventually the restaurant Tagide owner had decided that the unfortunate staff had to try to do a successfull profit from the evening
The dining room was UNDERSTAFFED - -definitely, as the dining room was fully occupied. All the guest seemed to have troubles with their dinner or checks.
VERY unfortunate that the owner did not show up - she most certainly thought she could sip hee champagne rlsewhere and leave her staff in trouble. Which was the case!

Great view if you can reserve in advance a table close to the big window. Food quality not constant (is decreased, in my experience and opinion, over the 5 times I was there). However the standard is above average and it is anyhow a pleasant experience.
