Very small room with a strange shape (shower and toilet next to each other with no door, sink in the room), not super well-maintained. However the location was perfect for tourism and we only stayed one night so it worked fine overall.

This is our second year staying here, and it's super convenient for all the attractions, right next to the subway entrance.

This hotel offers decent value for money. Given the price, one can't expect too much. The location is excellent, right next to Clarke Quay, within walking distance to various city attractions, and situated between two subway stations, making it convenient to get to from the airport. There's a shopping mall across the street, a 7-Eleven next door, and two Bak Kut Teh restaurants a couple of doors down. I was here for a concert, and the venue was just a ten-minute walk away. Before arriving, I was a bit worried about the hygiene and noise based on reviews, but it turned out to be fine. The cleanliness was acceptable; after all, it's a Southeast Asian country, so I didn't expect it to be as spotless as Japan. Overall, it was tolerable. It was quite quiet at night, probably because I was lucky enough to have considerate guests. The buffet breakfast is on the next street over, not far, and the selection isn't huge, so you have the option to skip it.

My room was not available due to air conditioner issues. I was sent to the sister hotel which the condition was quite bad. Fair hygiene and with loud music when I was sleeping.

This hotel has an amazing location. Security was also top notch, as I had no issues with anyone coming into my room when I posted the “Do not disturb” sign on my door handle. I has a musty smell and is quite an old building but is well maintained. Everything worked. Everything was in proper place and was well organized. The bed was comfy and the shower always hot. The manager also accommodated a really late arrival due to my flight delay. The only down side I can think of is that the room had no view. The window looks out onto a maintenance hall.

It’s a budget hotel in the heart of the touristic area of Singapore. Walking distance to the Marina Bay and Chinatown. A short city-bike ride away from little India and Kampong Glam. There’s many breakfast, lunch and dinner options around. Very convenient location. Great value for the price.

The location across Clarke Quay Central is definitely its strongest point. Very accessible by all means of public and private transportation and with major attractions at 3-5min walk makes pretty much all the value. The room itself is aged and has a kind of vintage vibe that I believe it’s not appreciated by most travelers, except of course, those on a tighter budget.
Yes! That’s the main thing. Price is not too high (for Singapore) but definitely there are other options around the same area and budget that are far more “modern” and attractive to budget travelers.
Saying this, I summarize as it’s not to bad, it’s honest, it’s clean and has more amenities than many of the newer places but I find the price a bit excessive for what it offers.

You get what you pay for. Good value, especially considering the location. Much quieter than I was expecting it to be too. But the breakfast was OK at best. Please can you provide a decent cup of coffee at least? Not the coffee in a bag available.

Conveniently located, clean linens/towels, quiet. If you're coming to work and just need a comfortable place, this is your option. The only thing is, the window overlooks the interior of the building, which looks more like a ventilation shaft.

Visited for dinner buffet, great food taste and quality. Service was excellent! It was full.. so they specially made me a one person table with a huge armchair. And gave me like, 6 naan breads. OMG. Six naan breads. It was great :D

Riverwalk Tandoor is one of my highly recommended restaurants for both locals as well as tourists because : It serves authentic indian cuisine with great service, it is conveniently located just a stone's throw away from clark quay mrt, It is situated in one of singapore's most iconic locations along the singapore river, & is affordably priced even though its situated right in the heart of the city. The restaurant has been at this location for 19 long years and in Sept 2017, it went through a major revamp in design, space layout, furniture, buffet presentation style and of course a new menu too. . The revamped restaurant is now better positioned to cater to both singaporeans and tourists alike, with a well stocked bar facing the river, an al fresco area which is great for block booking or corporate events, and of course the air conditioned interior with its island shaped buffet . Kudos to the management team for breathing new life into the restaurant ….this will be my go to place to chill

Aunty tried to sell us dishes(the obviously most expensive dish on the menu) that we already said we didn't want to have, she kept insisting even though we had in mind what we wanted to order. Food was crappy, not worth paying for. The 1 star was more towards the service, if I could, i would have given an even lower.

Dishes actually tastes ok, similar quality as JUMBO. Both very expensive. Not good value considering the portions and price, but okay for tourists to satisfy their crave for pepper crabs once in a while.
