Clean simple room for 1 night over New Year's Eve. Manageable walk from the Bay Area. Winding corridors to get to room, with a large glass wall against the bed frame... made us feel slightly unsafe but we checked for cameras and didn't find any.

Accommodation reflects price- very comfortable bed, hot shower and great location. There is no window, no separate bathroom, no fridge, the lighting is terrible so very dark and very thin walls.

The room was fine however if you actually want to sleep then don’t stay here- the downstairs bar has live music booming out until midnight so it was impossible to sleep.

We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk when checking in. People had been waiting longer than that when we arrived, it appears they don’t pay much attention to guests.There’s a bar on the first floor and it gets very noisy at night, which is okay for people who want to drink and have their hotel room a few steps away. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want peace and quiet at night.

Booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced for Singapore and the location is really nice. It is within walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and even downtown. Also bus and metro transportation is nearby.
We got a room without a window which was apparently built for wheelchair use. At check-in this wasn't told to us, yet as the hotel was fully booked we couldn't change the room. Due to this purpose, the bathroom was quite large and the bed was easily accessible from one side. For non-wheelchair guests this can be quite inconvenient as there is no real place to store luggage. The bathroom gets really wet when taking a shower and one needs to hold the shower head constantly in one's hand as it can't be properly attached. The bathroom and room were quite clean and there was daily housekeeping. Housekeeping also provides drinking water bottles.
Attached to the hotel is a sports bar downstairs which has good deals on beers throughout the day and also a little club like venue with music. At first we were worried to be kept awake by this but we couldn't hear a thing and music didn't run too late.
Overall this hotel might be suitable for budget travellers that want to stay chinatown / downtown and have their own room (compared to a capsule or dormitory). As I probably booked a bit late, all other hotels were roughly 50-100%+ in price.

The calamari starter was a bit overpriced for the portion served.
The pasta was done well and pricing reasonably.
Did not appreciate that the guests at the table by the door was allowed to smoke (arsh tray provided) and the fresh cool breeze blew the smell and tarnished the experience.
