Wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the bed is wide and comfortable. Each room has a veranda or a loggia. The grounds are well-maintained, and the beach is beautiful and clean. However, the wind often kicks up waves, so you might not get much swimming in. There's an excellent pool, practically Olympic-sized, so you can get a full workout in the morning before the kids arrive.

Great little hotel and lovely staff. The hotel is a little dated, but that is to be expected. The beach just outside is great (I suggest walking up to where the large rocks are). The breakfast is basic but very lovely. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately roadworks were going on at the time of our visit. Bad for us, but will be very good for everyone as it brings sidewalks and maybe work continues for two-three weeks more. Then it will be perfect. It's somewhat remote, but amazing location and stunning view. From the balcony we spent time every morning, watching stingrays in the waters below us.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a super view of the bay from our room. The room was very spacious, bright and clean. The hotel offers very good breakfast with fresh fruit, cake, eggs, samosas, pancakes, etc.. Amazing views of the south side of the island, excellent friendly management and the room was just incredible. Loved the breakfast too and the entire ambience of the whole place. the rooms were very modern BUT they were modernising other rooms as well and i had a tour of them - they look incredible. All the furniture was crafted from wood on the land so it all looks great and very local.

We booked the room with the plunge pool. Very clean and the staff courteous and helpful especially Yubraj. The beach is just across the road and you can have it to yourself most of the time. A good place to stay if you like peace and quiet on your holiday.

We are here now and everything is perfect. We are staying at the two bedroom villa by the beach and we have a lovely view. The rooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms.The beach across the road is gorgeous.Two restaurants nearby with very tasty food.We would definitely return.

Was a lovely experience, we had a comfortable stay, with little work. Dishes done for us, bed made, clean up etc. Just the one aircon didn't work, but other than that, perfect hostess and wonderful stay!

We really.enjoyed our stay at Moulin Kann Villas! It is family owned and the staff is so friendly :) Both, the rooms for 2 people, as well as the room.for 4, are nicely furnished, clean and very spaceous!! The shower is huge! Also the location of the apartements is perfect for exploring the island's most beautiful beaches.

Stayed at Chez Batista Villas purely for its location on Anse Takamaka, which is genuinely one of the best beaches on the island. Unfortunately, almost everything else fell short. Me and my wife stayed in Chez Batistas already six (!) times and want to come back one day again. The reason is the location, the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. What people criticized in previous reviews is true. The internet is far from good and the rooms definitely require some renovation. There are many imperfections there but the place is simply magic. We had a fantastic stay at Villa Chez Batista, perfectly set right by the beach. Very quiet private hotel on west coast of Mahé with excellent view of the the Takamaka Bay and Beach, savory rich breakfast only, turtle rescue, private waterfront pool and lots of beautiful nature around.
