Was nice but I had a request and it was not done. That was disappointing

Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Start – L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa, Seychelles.


We stayed at L’Escale Resort over Easter, hoping to create special family memories. Upon arrival, the experience began on a positive note—check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort itself has an elegant, modern design and initially gave off the impression of a true luxury getaway.
We paid USD 8382 (plus 600 for extra bed) for 6 nights.


However, things quickly took a turn once we entered our room. The lighting control panel was partially broken—only one of the three panels worked. Several lights didn’t function at all, and a power socket panel was damaged. While the rest of the room looked clean and comfortable, these maintenance issues were disappointing for a resort of this caliber.

The following morning, we encountered more problems. Our key card suddenly stopped working after breakfast. We were told this might be because it had been near a phone, which seems like a weak excuse for what is likely a system issue. Overall, while L’Escale Resort looks beautiful and has the potential to be an excellent luxury destination, it’s let down by poor maintenance, weak systems, and extremely slow service. Sadly, what started as a promising family holiday turned into a frustrating experience.

Slow staff service , limited dinning options , and no direct beach access which is the main attraction for staring at any hotel or resort in Seychelles

Beautiful property and pool. Staffing was a bit hit and miss. The waitress at lunch didn’t want to be there and didn’t seem to care that the vegetarian dish at lunch had meat in it. Seafood curry was delicious. Pool bar seemed to never be staffed and you had to go to main reception to get service. Lots of potential but wouldn’t be rushing back.
