Situated right by the slopes and on the higher end of the mountain Hotel Jasná was a pleasant surprise. Matching modern life qualities with a very genuine wooden winter cottage aura. Friendly and great staff. Don't forget to visit the wellness spa.

Breakfast had a good selection. Showers were hot and powerful. Only problem were the thin walls where you can hear everything going on next door or in the corridor. We were unlucky to be next to a room with a crying baby all night which kept us awake. Also, the hotel is up the slope so you would have to walk up with all your ski equipment or get on the last lift up by 15:30.

Quiet, nice and clean apartment house 100 metres from the railway station platforms - the best location in Tatranská Lomnica, especially if you plan to get around by train. The breakfast in nearby Vila Beatrice is fresh and has many options.

The accommodation is huge, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is great, the surrand is brilliant side of the High Tatra mountain. As an architecture buff I enjoyed staying in this 150 year old historic building. It is in the heart of “old” Nitra within walking distance of parks, restaurants, the riverfront and shopping. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Although it’s not the “grand” hotel it once was, it’s very good value and we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at penzion Tematin for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and they spoke multiple foreign languages. Extremely cosy hotel, we had an amazing stay here. The restaurant here is the best one we visited in Slovakia. Perfect breakfast with great coffee and fresh fruits. There are bicycles for rent, it takes 5 minutes to ride to "spa island" - which is perfect for bicycle rides.

We had dinner here. I had the Pasta Taglaita which tasted wonderful. The beef was good and tender. The price was also extremely reasonable, I'm used to this quality food being much more expensive. When we got to the room, we noticed it was only set up for one person, despite it being a double. There was no hot water, and the sink was clogged. They quickly fixed it, but we felt it showed a lack of attention to detail. The shower hook was broken. For a four-star hotel, we weren't expecting this.
