The hotel is well located on the Vah River. It is easy to walk to many restaurants and shops as well as along the river. Definitely 4 stars in Slovakia are different from other parts or Europe. This for me would be closer to a 3 stars. Rooms outdated but still clean. Every room has a balcony which is nice. The Hotel overall is good/ok. The room itself was alright, we booked a big bed and got two individuals put together. The hotel is cozy and nicely decorated. The rooms are comfortable and the staff takes care of the details that you will like. Everything is neat and clean. The bathroom is large. Everything you need is available. The breakfast is delicious, varied and in a nice restaurant. It's hard not to like it. Overall, you won't regret spending your days in Bratislava here. I will definitely come back again.

Apollo hotel was such a pleasant surprise for me. After experiencing multiple top tier hotels in Bratislava I must say I would return without hesitating. Best breakfast in BA hotels I have ever experienced, didn't feel crowded, the style has classic oldtime-y charm where you can find cozy private nook for work or enjoying food and drinks. I loved it, not much to say, 21 meter tower, I am slovakian in fact but I speak English better, It has mineral waters, room was very cozy, one problem I could say was that trains kept passing by, but it was fun, and it was perfect and idk what to say.

The Roman inscription was very interesting. The hotel also sits at the base of the Trencin castle. So much history in one place.

Cloistered beneath the castle walls, this stylished building has only a small parking lot but we were lucky to find a place. The modern lobby enables a glimpse to Roman foundations behind a glass. Well kept, clean and comfortable hotel with excellent amenities let down by poor service. The restaurant closes at 8pm. The staff acted like I was being a nuisance for asking for an iron/ironing board.

The check out at this property is 10AM. I have not been to a hotel with as early check out time as this in a long time. If you ask them for late check out you will be lucky to get 11AM. Past that they will try to charge you a 1/2 day fee. The hotel is a bit dated now. I have stayed here several times for the past 3 years and there is zero upgrades/maintenance. Location is really good though.

Despite some mix-ups on our part with the reservation the hotel was very accommodating with our requests. We were late arriving but staff was on hand and offered to bring some beverages to our room. The decor is well maintained and very comfortable. Easy access location and just a few steps from the main plaza in the historic center. An abundant breakfast buffet was offered. Beautifully decorated hotel with an older feel. I found the service quite variable… sometimes seemed reluctant… simple things like a request for cutlery at breakfast were greeted with a scowl, but in contrast, Ivan at reception could not have been more pleasant or helpful.

My wife and I stayed at the Devin Hotel while in Bratislava. We were thrilled with the hotel. It's located at the entrance to the old town. Lots of activities are within walking distance. The staff were highly service oriented. They also provide a great breakfast. Highly recommended!

This is a classic hotel with a great location and friendly staff. The bus stop is nearby and it's easily accessible from Vienna, so I'd definitely stay here again when I visit Bratislava.

What a disappointment we had in this hotel. We booked hotel for 5 nights but we left after 3 nights. Really I was not able to stay longer while I had to sleep on this incredibly bad couch that was super dirty and noisy when you move even slightly. See pictures and tell me is this a 4 star hotel?? This is an amazing place to relax on weekends stay. Mud Bath, Mirror Bath and Massage are recommended here, rooms are quite nice and restaurants and cafes inside are quite good...lots of activities to do like bicycling and more....recommended.

A pretty nice historical place. One can choose from three foods. The staff is very nice and helps you to organize your needs. (There is a cat outside to offer you zootherapy.) I have been mislead, you have to go to the park to feed the cat. The surroundings offer spa, water therapy, NAP Parafango and many others.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days during the Nova Rock music festival. The reception staff were excellent and answered all our questions in English without problems. The room is great. And the bed and pillows are the best I've ever had in any hotel. Breakfast is self service and was good, the coffee and tea selection was also great. Very good hotel for reasonable price to stay in Bratislava. Big assortment of delicious food served for the buffet breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. The most bright impression about this hotel was about swimming in the pool filled with +28C water and observing the snow otside of the big pool's windows in a cold winter day in December.

There is no reason not to visit this beautiful, heritage hotel. The hotel is in High Tatra, whichever direction you are going to take, you can find a hiking track into the mountain. i loved the hotel :) great location, many hikes are possible around there and the views are just amazing. we stayed at the hotel in September and we got some sunny days and it was definitely not too cold. the spa area is nice, sometimes maybe a bit too crowded but i enjoyed everyday.

We booked this hotel for our trip across Slovakia specifically because on their website they tout their restaurant as absolutely gourmet fun with the finest delicacies from their chef. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. I have never encountered such impeccable staff. They are well-dressed, kind, and fully focused on their work. Not too far from the airport. Easy to reach with the same bus that connects the airport to the city centre. It's a good and cheap option if your flight arrives late in the evening. Possibility of continental breakfast at the pub inside the hotel.

The hotel is 11 minutes away by car to Old Town and surrounding areas so I had to take Uber to and fro each day for sight seeing. It was inconvenient. Best to pay a little more for accommodation to be near Old Town so you can walk everywhere.

The hotel was very basic. I would give it just 1 star. It was very noisy at night, the bed vas uncomfortable and small. I would not recommend to stay there, I won’t be back.

Nice view from the room, but room itself was very small and very warm, we asked 3x for lower temperature level, breakfast food was just an average. Small nice sauna zone is available based on previous booking.

We stayed in an apartament for two nights and it was really nice. You get everything you need for making breakfast, a fridge, a pan, dishes. Also you have a terrace where you can enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. What's missing is a dishwasher, but as the kitchen is small i can see why there is none. A great hotel close to the city centre, but in a calm and quiet district. There are plenty of parking space available. The rooms are clean and has a lot of space. The breakfast is one of the best I ever had in this price range.
