Super evening buffet, great location, large clean room, warm welcome, what’s not to like?

Stayed at the Jezero hotel for 4 nights while exploring Bohinj area. Traditional style hotel with good facilities, good sized rooms and balcony with view overlooking the lake. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and efficient service.

This hotel is in a great location very walkable to restaurants. The hotel has an on site restaurant as well as a nice sauna and pool area.

Superb location and a nice room but what is it with Slovenians over a certain age? Did they miss out on hospitality school? They are all so surly. Room could do with tea/coffee making facilities. A good place for a lunch, the food is good. The servers are only slow with coming to your table and taking your order. The place itself is spacious and a lot of light enters through the glass roof, so that is very nice. The hotel is perfectly located close to the lake.

Loved our stay here and can imagine coming back in the winter. The ski slopes are just by the hotel, the hotel is comfortable and pleasant, and the area is just amazing! The spa is super nice too to relax in after a day of hiking, or skiing in winter.

The professional and helpful staff and superb location give this rating a three. We were booked at this hotel for 2 nights while hiking the Alpe Adria trail. A nice, alpine-style hotel a few kilometers from Bled. Excellent if you like biking and sports. Great to get away from the huge crowds in town. Rooms were pleasant and clean and breakfast very good. Great location for Lake Bohinj activities The location was great for access to Lake Bohinj. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The drying room made getting stuck in the rainstorm not an issue with packing the next day.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gasperin. It's easy to arrive at the hotel by bus from Bled. There's also parking for cars. The hotel is in great condition, seems almost new. Poor reception at the front desk but otherwise excellent.

As always, I'm staying for work, so I can't fully enjoy all the amenities. In any case, the hotel is in decent condition, with a gym, tons of pools, and a few places to dine, grab a beer, and grab an ice cream right outside.

Food is nice and tasty, staff is very kind and helpful, kids have nice pools to play. Adults also have nice pools to choose. Rooms are nice and spacious. Highly recommended for all families!! We were in winter time in summer must be even better with all outdoor pools.

Everything was fine, except for the lifeguards talking very loudly in the sauna area or sleeping inside their cabins with the lights off. Avoid the Terme 3000 if you want to relax because there you will find children screaming and diving.

Just got back from a very pleasant long weekend at this Slovenian spa. All types of indoor and outdoor pools, golf course, comfy rooms complete with the local specialty of pillows filled with buckwheat husks ( helps with snoring, stiff necks etc.) We were on half board and must say the food (IMO) was very good. We spent a wonderful long family weekend in Ajda. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is delicious with a great variety and selection to choose from. Ideally located just steps from the P+R, it's very easy to get to the city center. The beds are comfortable, the room is equipped with a small fridge, and the bathroom is very well designed. The only place of the many many hotels in Europe that offered to help us with our bags. There are stairs to enter but they are manageable. Good breakfast in a quiet room. Rooms aren't massive, but big enough for what we needed and location is 5-10min walk to the old town sites and 10-15 to the train/station.

A pleasant family owned hotel with excellent location in Ljubljana. The atmosphere is very welcoming and service friendly. Nice rooms with good beds and air con, and also a good breakfast. Our daughter forgot something in the room and it was all fixed withing hours with great service minded attitude, really appreciated the way this was handled. We warmly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is lovely, family owned and the service is good. The rooms are cosy and clean, but the building doesn’t have an elevator or individually set air condition. We also tried the restaurant but the food was classical local dishes with a nicer presentation and far from what we expected. Very basic ingredients with no “twist”, in a 6 course meal the ingredients are repeated.

We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was closed on the first of our 2 night stay. However the meal we had on the second night was superb and we opted for the wine selections for each course offered by the hotel which also worked really well. Comfortable hotel with wonderful and helpful staff, however it is the food and wine experience that will make us remember hotel Planinka! This is a very comfortable, quiet hotel just away from the scenic views of Lake Bled. It's well worth your stay. They provide a lovely breakfast too. On the night that we stayed, there was quite a dramatic thunderstorm that light up the surrounding hills and kept us awake for a while but certainly no fault of the hotel :-) We enjoyed the thunderstorm on our balcony which every room seemed to have.

If you're visiting Slovenia and want to visit the caves, I recommend staying at this unique farm. It's a 20-minute drive from the caves, and a 10-minute drive from a large supermarket. The farm has fresh air, lots of cute animals, and the rooms are also very nice. It's a great place to stay on a European farm early.

Great staff, we accidentally booked wrong dates and arrived one day earlier. They cancelled the original reservation with full refund and offered us last free room. Room was nice, tidy with comfy bed and large TV. Breakfast also very good. Dinner offers also various cuisines so we appreciated choices that are not usual in every corner of this town.

Excellent restaurant very friendly staff. Good prices. Doesn't look like much from the outside but again the restaurant was first class with a varied menu decent size portions. Be prepared to wait a little as the food is freshly prepared. Rooms are clean and comfotable. A strange combination of 5* motel with Haut cuisine.

The service and front desk ladies were wonderful, helpful and accommodating. However, this is not a luxury hotel. The quality is more like a hostel. The bathroom had a sewage drain that smelled awful, made me nauseous and was very bad at night with windows closed and no AC. I had to turn sideways to squeeze into a tiny shower. Location was superb. 10 mins walked from the bus station through the city center. It is in the old town area. Very convenient to get around. Lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. My room was the smallest one on the roof but still some spaces for 2 beds. The toilet was very small that the water drained too slow. The bed was clean and comfortable.
