Wonderful hotel in the heart of Maribor. Many of the rooms are in a building a short walk from the checkin building on the main square, which results in a more quiet stay. Rooms are modern and very clean. Excellent included breakfast in the main building.

Such a cozy hotel, I feel like at home. Rooms are smallish but furnished with a lot of natural materials like wood. It's warm and clean. Bathroom taps and bath cabin are of quite high quality. Staff is nice and helpful.

Great hotel with a really fair price to quality comparison. It is often visited a lot by people travelling from Germany to Croatia and Balkans, like a stopping place for sleep. Solid breakfast, the rooms could be better, it can get really loud on one side of the hotel because of the really frequent road nearby. That can be a disruption in the summer months when it's too hot to sleep with windows open...

I really liked the interior design. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed my stay a lot. One of my favourite hotels I stayed at and will recommend it further.

I like the location very quiet in pedestrian super city center. We were group of 9 people, we appreariated to sit downstairs at social room, where is also microwave oven and electrical kettle. Some friends from group had breakfest and were very satisfied.

Great location, clean room, decent breakfast. Cons: Upon check-in, we weren't shown to our room or where breakfast was served; the room was cold at night, and the air conditioning, which could be set to a warm temperature, didn't turn on.

Parking was in the parking lot below Parliament Square. I was charged €23 for parking from 4:30 PM to 8:30 AM the next day. For reference. The location was indeed good, and the breakfast was okay, better than expected. Surprisingly, I was given a family room. I had to carry my luggage up and down the stairs myself, and there was no elevator in the parking lot.

The biggest plus is the location. You step out of the hotel and you're right in the center. Very convenient for travelers. The room is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The breakfast is ample. We loved everything!

Needs a good make over. Staff helpful. No lift so be sure you get ground floor otherwise be prepared for 30 steps up. Family room spacious. TV doesn't work.

Stayed there in 2019. Nice staff. They opened the hotel for me and offered a ride from the train station because it was quite a long walk. Nice place to stay, just below the castle. Historic.

Oldest hotel in the town. They serve no breakfast but rooms are nicely decorated in old style.

I had a really enjoyable stay, quaint and conveniently placed for all the main sights . lovely and peaceful but with a fabulous buzz, great access to activities, day trips and bars. really friendly Staff Nicola was really knowledgeable and had some great suggestions for us

Lovely property, room was very comfortable and large. Staff were very nice, not there all the time but that worked out okay. Use of a kitchen and a nice gathering space , inside and out. And the hot tub was fantastic.

Superb location 10 min walk to the stunning lake. We were welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady from the Philippines Our room was large and spacious with window shutters to keep the heat out. No tv or air on, but that didn’t bother us. Small cafe down the road for breakfast. Would I recommend, yes. But not if you are infirm as your room might be up two flights of stairs

The property has 2 separate buldings - an older hotel and a new one over the street. Reception and breakfast for both hotels is in the new building but that shouldn't be a problem since it's near the old one. We stayed at the old one. THE HOTEL WAS VERY CLEAN AND NOT FAR FROM THE BEACH, A VERY BEAUTIFUL AND QUIET PLACE. THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY GENTLE WITH TOURISTS. Unfortunately, they gave us a room in the old building. Although it was clean, the torn curtains, the holey sheet and the fact that the room door couldn't be locked made our stay uncomfortable.

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel. The property consists of two buildings located about 200 meters apart, but the reception is only in the newer building, which can be inconvenient. As for the rooms — they are very clean and well-maintained, which was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast was just okay. It could really benefit from more variety and better options. This hotel is a located in the heart of the city centre. Hotel personnels are very helpful . The hotel provides good filling breakfast . One has the option of eating out or option of ordering from outside. A nice place to stay and do a sight seeing around. If you need to grab a lunch,dinner you can go to near by restaurant/ eating joint where in you can eat and dine watching the city.

The best staff I have ever come across and I am quite a traveler. Very helpful, very nice, making the guest feeling at home like, really. We had a family room and it was perfect space for four of us. The breakfast was nice. The heated floors in the bathroom were lovely. The location of the hotel was convenient. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The room wasn't fancy but it was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Hotel Miklic. After receiving a warm welcome we were shown to our room which had a fantastic view to the mountains. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of town so ideally situated. The whole place was very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and nutritious. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful one night stay. Breakfast selection was great, and the staff were all very lovely. Th only downside is the walls were pretty thin and so we could hear the neighbors talking pretty clearly.

Rooms are pretty new in modern style. Breakfast is like so so...nothing special, below european average I'd say. Advantages of this hotel are that it is on beach so if you have room with view on sea it is nice and dive shop in the same building. There is a fridge in room, and you get water free when you come. In the dive shop you can rent paddle board etc or arrange diving. Good parking. No elevator...

Visited at the start of October and everything was very quiet. Plenty of parking and smart smallish room. Breakfast was fine. It is a 15 minute walk along the coastal path to get into the centre of town. Beware that the path is not lit, so a torch as needed at this time of year.

Pros: rooms have a fridge, a safe and hot water and are clean and comfortable. The hotel has secure parking. Cons: no lift and the breakfast is uninspiring. Our 'garden view' was on to a roof. Unexpected benefit: we might have booked into Camp Fiesa next door, which is basically a car park.

Great hotel and the location is second to none. The breakfast is good and so are the meals they offer in the evening. Get a suite with a view of the Adriatic and you will never want to leave! Oh yeah, have some wine or a good Slovenian beer. Slovenia wine is in incredible and deserves more notoriety in the world.

We had a two night stay in one of their basic rooms . It was very clean and comfortable . The hotel smells so nice , all public areas and the bedrooms smell beautiful ! The pool is gorgeous and whilst we were there was very very quiet . Checking took a little longer than I would like, we were the only ones checking in but perhaps could do with an online check in procedure for passport details etc,but...

The place is in green area and the pool is super. The staff was kind, is very clean accomodation and good breakfest😉. It is near to the Izola, Protoroz.

It is a little hotel which we leave behind after 3 nights with mixed feelings. The locations is absolutely perfect. The surroundings are stunning and there is peace and quietness all around. And there is also the first issue. While the whole village is silent, both day and night, excepted by the over active rooster and church bells, the staff is not aware that we are actually there to enjoy this...

This was the friendliest hotel we found on our trip in Slovenia. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was very small and next to a road but fine for an overnight stay. The food at dinner and at breakfast was very good. Particularly helpful was that the hotel offered free parking next to the hotel.

We stayed here as part of our On Foot walking holiday in May 25. A generous breakfast was on offer and the room was comfortable. Staff were friendly.

We enjoyed our dinner there we had to wait but the waiting time was ok, the waiters are so busy but still they can put smile on their face, it's holiday so I guess in normal time the service would be great, but in general I recommend it, the atmosphere is very nice.

Excellent geographic location for excursions along World War I trails. The hotel is welcoming. Both the Great War Museum in Caporetto (preferably with the museum's knowledgeable guide) and Mount Kolovrat, a faithful reconstruction of Italian military camps (trenches, observation points, and walkways), are worth a visit. Second time we have stayed at Boka Hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Owner took time to talk and take photos. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The hotel sits in a beautiful location with hiking trails close by. Will stay here again and would encourage others to do so. You won’t be disappointed.

A basic hotel in a convenient location. You can park your car in the hotel yard and you can get drinks from the vending machine around the clock. The service is average and the decor modest. However, the premises are clean and the room has a functional bathroom and a reasonable bed. The refrigerator was found and the air conditioning pump does not blow directly into the bed. Good, so. Great spot in Isola!! Very comfortable room and excellent support from the front desk person. We were given great recommendations for dinner and desert on the night of our arrival and just walked all over the town to reach them. At breakfast we enjoyed eggs and sausage and yogurt and could have had so much more- the selection was great. We parked right by the entrance, which made handling our luggage...

The owners are incredibly nice, amazingly attentive, rooms are super clean and beds are comfortable (slept like an angel). But the breakfast buffet is absolutely astonishing considering the size of the hotel! Also they have a lovely shaded terrace that allows you to comfortably get some cool fresh air.

Overall great experience. Hotel room was cozy, very nice, and very quiet. Apparently there is a “be back at the hotel/curfew” time of 10PM that is not communicated upon arrival. Other than that, would definitely recommend the place to anyone.

Hotel staff very friendly, rooms a bit older but always clean! Very tasty breakfasts! If you get lucky (like we did) and get the room with the lake/caste view, it's absolutely amazing! If you are not all about luxury I definitely recommend a stay in this hotel :)

Very old and dated hotel but if you get a lake view room then wow! Bed was very uncomfortable and breakfast wasn't great. Good price for the lake view though. I've loved my time at the hotel. The room is very simple the bed wasn't super comfortable and breakfast was pretty average but the view from my room! My goodness, breathtaking! The staff are really lovely too. I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the breakfast.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel. The location was very good, near to the lake. Our room was on the 5. floor. We weren't satisfied with it. It was clean, but it had a very oldfashion style, with old, used furniture and bathroom. We heard the wind every night. The breakfast was poor too. It was so simply, and we had to wait for something f.e. new plates. The lift was very slow too.

We stayed here at the end of November and everything from start to finish was perfect. The very friendly staff dropped us a message to advise on the very complicated parking arrangements there are in Piran, providing very straightforward instructions on what we needed to do. This was just the start, as we checked-in very easily and were over the moon with the apartment we stayed in - wonderful views...

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Piranesi! The location is unbeatable – right by the sea, with the most beautiful view from the window, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It truly felt like a peaceful escape. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and we’d love to come back again soon!

We stayed at Villa Piranesi in March 2025 for 3 nights. The receptions, the services, the room, the town, verything was perfect. We continued to our next stop at Opatija, Croatia after the wonder stay, Thats when we found out we have left behind about 800 euro in the bedroom drawer. We called the Villa reception and Ms XXX answerd the phone. She went into our room and found the money still in the drawer...

Villa Piranesi is located in the center of the city, directly next to the port. The sea and restaurants are a stone's throw away. The room was very spacious and cozy. We will definitely come back.

Staff were extremely friendly, they upgraded us to a nicer room, helped us out with renting bikes. Hotel room was lovely with some interesting DIY, but very clean and suitable for anyone. The area is amazing, with most basic amenities available within walking distance.

This was great to have an apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Laundry done and folded for 20 Euros and right next to the rafting rental place. Beautiful nature surrounding with short drive to all the sites. Walkable into town for bars and restaurants. Breakfast was worth it too lots of local delicacies.

Great accomodation for all tourist in region Kranjska Gora. Rooms were clean and well stuffed, nice bathroom and equipped kitchen. Vila itself is located at very quiet location, only thing you hear are nearby waterfalls which you can see from some rooms (we had that luck). Parking was included as well.

Very nice staff, breakfast is great, the rooms are nicely decorated. View is amazing.
