Exelent! Great friendly staff and great food. We stayed in the Lux double grand room. The swimming pool is only for hotel guests and is not crowded. It was realy a nice weekend

Just returned from a 7 day detox at Grand Hotel Sava - what an experience! We had a Grand room with a balcony overlooking the park - so peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing

Even the detox food was good - we were afraid it would be boring but the chefs did a great job, preparing healthy meals that were really tasty. The facilities like the thermal pool and fitness centre were great

Sauna, swimming pool, gym, everything is not bad. There are places to walk, there are small mountains around, the forest has clean air

Plasent surprise. Not an avarage hotel for sure. From very attentive stuff to beautiful facilities. My wife especially enjoyed swimming pool. Without hesitation I will stay there again.

They have an indoor pool; it's not huge, but it's never too crowded

A five-star seaside resort hotel, it is considered a very cost-effective hotel near Piran. The room is large, the breakfast is good, and there is a boardwalk along the seaside where you can watch the sunset

I was very surprised that hotel is using L'Occitane toiletries that I enjoyed very much. I'd recommend this hotel for someone who would like to stay near to public transport

Spacious room and bathroom and it was the cheapest room in the building. A quick walk to the old town. The Finnish sauna, spa and pool is great for relaxing. It is a very high standard hotel

Every time we wanted to go for our car we had to wait for a shuttle bus to take us to the parking lot in ANOTHER village next to Portoroz. So you had your car completely unsecured, just hoping you won´t get robbed

I expected better rooms for such hotels, but cleaning and everything else was fine. Food is delicious and literally everyone will choose. They also have written on their websites that EVERY room has a balcony

There was a lady who saw my relative at dinner trying to get a coffee from the machines and instead of telling him it was only open for breakfast, she started waving her arms

Overall it was good and I would definitely recommend, BUT. Probably the main reason you are going in this specific hotel is thir thermal spa. They were closed and it wasn´t anywhere written

They gave us a permition to go to their other hotel which was aroud 10 minut walk (kinda annoying)

Don’t get me wrong the hotel has a nice location and probably there are not that many better hotels in Portoroz, but it is quite outdated. The rooms are spacious, but the design is old

Rooms were clean and comfortable, check in smooth, breakfast good, but when you sell a property with parking and is really difficult to find. Then you walk through the empty "paid "parking

International visitors (couples) travel with 2 suitcases one luggage rack again, empty wardrobe maybe a folding one. Or one you could get from reception 😉 STILL we live in hope

Staff were very helpful and informative, I also took advantage of the sauna and steam room, which was clean and the booking process for it given the covid precautions actually made it an even better experience

Great hotel located within a pedestrian shopping street area. If you exit the hotel turn left and left at the next street and this will take you directly to the main square in the old town

If you have time schedule a visit to castle and take the train to the top. You can walk up and walk down but be warned it's steep. A river flows thru the main square area were you can find many great restaurants

Breakfast selection was probably one of the best I've seen at a hotel. Well worth the price as it made for an enjoyable start to the day

Great place for rest and relaxation. The mild climate, green forests and mountains, incredible cleanliness everywhere.

It's a very good value for money, but since we've been coming for years now there always seem to be a few things slipping from the maintenance list (for example thermometer and timers in saunas that have been broken/missing for a year

) They also seem a bit understaffed

The advertising in Booking was 3 Swimmingpools but in effect there are only 2 of which only 1 open. Food is average, the bar is poor, the place had very few people and so treatments such as massage etc

Pool and saunas are excellent. Around the hotel you can also find nice parks and playgrounds for children. Surrounding area was quiet and perfect for resting. Free parking inside hotel grounds was available

Hotel is big, nice and very close to Lake Bled. They offer free parking, staff at the entrance gate will greeting there and helping you find the parking spot. Room is comfy. Breakfast is good quality with many choices.

The hotel is located by Lake Bled, offering beautiful views and good service. Our room faced the park, which was very quiet, and the breakfast restaurant had stunning lake views.

A lot of negatives: Rude staff. Asked for quiet room on higher floor - got a floor with the whole football team (yelling in the corridors & playing loud music) My room was next to two “massage rooms” for those sportsmen

A little steep but worked for the night! A 5 min walk away from Lake Bled, comfortable and large room. Staff were super friendly and helpful in helping me book taxis when I needed help. Breakfast was good.

The location was good. A 5-minute walk takes you to the lake. Nice and close to everything. The service was also good. Only the bathroom wasn't very clean and was a bit dated.

It's a decent hotel, clean and cozy, and has s lovely breakfast buffet with a wide choice of food. The staff are nice too and rooms are cleaned everyday. They also try to support water sustainability.

This hotel has great leisure facilities - the outdoor 50m saltwater pool is exceptional - with a huge terrace, sun loungers, kids pool and bar - all with amazing views out to sea and long opening hours

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel so i don't understand why the hotel had such a bad reviews. The location is 10/10, the pool is big and clean, the food was 10/10, very big variety of food

We went around 11 o'clock and we got the parking card directly and the stuff on the reception gave us card to use the pool. The woman working on the reception were very kind and professional

The indoor pool - also salt water - is very large and there is a jacuzzi and saunas and steam (not working when we visited). My room was perfectly fine and very clean

One towel, no shower gel anywhere. At the reception they didnt mention that certain areas where out of order. Temperature of water is definitely not warm enough

The sauna had old naked people though, which was not the best experience and our rooms bathroom smelled like sweage for the entire 5 days we stayed there

It's a four star hotel with very good pools and spa, but don't forget to bring your swimsuit because the ones they sell in their shop are REALLY expensive. The staff is nice and kind and they all speak English

What we also love is tbhe restaurant with a vaste variety of food options for breakfast and dinner. But what we love the most is the hotel's pool. It is nicely warm and not to crowded

We did also go to the Terme 3000 pools, but there is always so crowdy and it is unable to swim, so the hotel's pool is an excellent choice. We had lunch at the pool grill cafes, which was also great

I am not sure how they assign who stays in which room, but I would have been upset if I stayed in the older wings. The thermal pool is a short walk through a corridor and for the most part not too busy when we were there

very good food and nice guys on pools. but black hair waitress Zehra (or something similar). Jumping half naked in pools, being rude etc. than she she was acting weird to my partner and my son at dinner time

Thankfully we stayed in the renovated room which was very modern and its balcony looked out at Ajda swimming pool

In the evening we went for walks and there is a golf site with this super nice bar, where you could enjoy a great beer every evening with a wonderful ambient. We loved this experience and it definitely is value for money

The food at this hotel was very abundant and varied. There was free parking, some lovely evening music on a Saturday night, several seawater pools, and a very nice library

Cycling in this region is recommended if you want to see it all. Ask the hotel about the local cycling routes! The staff at the hotel were very hospitable and accommodating

Mostly a hotel for retirement associations and groups with a nice location near various beaches. Solid rooms and food, but nothing special.

The rooms are very nice and modern, the entertainment program is very rich, there are various swimming pools and well equiped dressing room, the food in the restaurant is OK, though not really vegetarian friendly (only if you are OK with salad only)

The location is within walking distance of Izola, and you can easily drive a bicycle to Strunjan, Piran, Portorož, Lucija, and so on. Of you didn't bring a bicycle, you can easily rent a bike for 12€/day in Izola

I didn't swim at the hotel, but both the spa and outdoor swimming pool looked well-maintained and clean. Hence, a good plan B if you don't want to dip your toes in the Adriatic sea

All praise to the head chef Željka for the organization and willingness to answer questions, and even going the extra mile is never a problem for her for exceptional and selective guests

I would especially highlight the restaurant, the food is very tasty (the sea bream for dinner was praiseworthy!), the buffet is generous, very clean, extensive selection and always full

The sauna experience was also exceptional, giving the feeling of being in another time and place, with no crowds and very courteous visitors. pool has really warm natural water from the spring near by

I spent the weekend with my mom in a mobile home. I must say that friendliness and helpfulness are the top priorities at this hotel
