Seoul, 58, Mapo-daero, Mapo-gu (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This is a four-star hotel, and the room was quite spacious. Daily housekeeping service was a nice touch. They don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, but towels and slippers are available. You can buy toothbrushes and toothpaste from a vending machine in the lobby. Getting to and from the airport is very convenient. You can take airport bus 6015 for 17,000 KRW per person, and the bus stop is right...
The elevators have CCTV, and the rooms are very clean and hygienic. The front desk staff are all very friendly and patient; you can ask them for extra room cards. There's a Wowpass card machine in the lobby. There aren't any Chinese staff at the front desk, but a man who seems like a manager will use a translator to communicate with you. I highly recommend this place. It's a 10-minute walk from Gongdeok...
Booked a room with a terrace, and the environment was really nice. The only downside was the weather was too cold for kids to play on the terrace. It's definitely more suitable for a summer visit. Overall, I really liked the hotel.
This hotel boasts a convenient location, with clean, tidy, and well-lit rooms. The bedding is comfortable and odor-free, and the toiletries are comprehensive. The front desk staff are warm and efficient, offering incredible value for money. It's perfect for both business trips and leisure travel!
The room was much better than the pictures on Ctrip, very comfortable, and the service was excellent. The airport shuttle made transportation really convenient.
The room was clean and tidy, cleaned daily, and had a bathtub. It was also quite spacious, and smelled lovely everywhere. The location is excellent, and the grilled pork skin at Brothers BBQ, near the hotel, is delicious!

Seoul, 92 Mapo-daero, Maphogu, 04168 Seul, Yuzhnaya Koreya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway entrance and a food street downstairs. It's on a high floor, with the lobby on the 9th. The rooms are quite spacious and the facilities are relatively new. The breakfast is especially great – they even have instant noodles that you can prepare yourself, which I absolutely love! Very good!
The environment is great, and I had a very comfortable stay. It was also convenient to order takeout. The service attitude was good, and there's a convenience store, coffee shop, and restaurant all on the same floor. Overall, a very good experience.
The hotel's location is excellent, right outside the subway exit. There are plenty of dining and coffee options nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The lobby is on the ninth floor, and there's also a convenience store there, which is handy for grabbing some banana milk on the way back to the room.
Clean and tidy, with convenient transportation, the subway is right downstairs, though some lines require a bit of a walk within the station. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is quiet! The service is also excellent, there's a 24-hour gym, and a 7-Eleven in the lobby. Recommended!
Disappointing and Unwelcoming Customer Service I was very excited to visit, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. The staff displayed an incredibly impersonal and cold attitude. There were no smiles, no welcoming greetings, and they seemed deeply annoyed when asked a simple question due to the language barrier. It felt like a very transactional interaction where foreigners are tolerated...
Overall, the hotel was decent. The bedside had charging sockets, but room 1123 had constant creaking and popping sounds, probably due to thermal expansion and contraction, which kept me up all night.

It's pretty good, has everything you need. Although it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is decent with a good variety of options. It's a great spot for a vacation.
The room size is quite spacious for a Korean hotel, and the service is excellent with good facilities. The surrounding area has a pedestrian street and brand-name stores, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Transportation is also a breeze, with the subway and bus stations just a few hundred meters' walk away.
The employees were incredibly kind and approachable. The cleaning ladies were warm and friendly, and they did an excellent job maintaining the cleanliness of my room while my son was there. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable for someone like me who was recovering from surgery. It was old and saggy, and you could feel the springs on your back. It desperately needed a new mattress.
Walking location nearby lots of food stores and shopping areas , I always choose to stay whenever I am in Seoul
Walking distance to Gangnam Street. Excellent location, highly recommend. The room was clean and tidy, quite spacious for Seoul standards, and the soundproofing was good, so we weren't disturbed at night. The front desk staff were professional and communicated smoothly, making check-in and check-out very efficient.
Entrance of Room light not enuf .

Great location right by City Hall Exit 6 and Sogong Underground Shopping Link Exit 2 that leads to Myeongdong. Cheonggyecheon stream is just 600m away, perfect for a morning run. Staff were attentive and helpful. Gym was in another building on a high floor and very well equipped. Room was a bit small but comfortable enough.
Location is decent but traffic can be quite congested given that it is in city hall area. It’s walking distance to restaurants and tourist attraction. Unfortunately room is relatively old and quite poorly maintained. Its dusty and daily amenities are not properly stocked or replenished. Thankfully I called and staff took action to fix it correctly. However, it would be better if things are good to...
Pros: Close to Myeongdong, quiet, and dozens of restaurants within a five-minute walk. Cons: Housekeeping is a joke (they only change the sheets and trash bags). The gym is in a building across the street, which is the most inconvenient part – you have to change clothes if you're already in your workout gear. This hotel definitely has its ups and downs! But the service and English proficiency were...
I had an early bird good deal with an awesome breakfast. The hotel is located in downtown with walking distance to Myeondong. The room is quite small but the bedding is comfy. Everything is spotlessly clean.
This hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact...
If you're staying in Myeongdong, I highly recommend this established hotel. The subway entrance is right downstairs, and there's a bus stop just across the street. Lotte Department Store is also right next door. The location is absolutely unbeatable! The cleanliness and service are excellent, and the staff are not only good-looking but also very gentle. Huge thanks to Penny Wu, Chad, and Johan for their amazing hospitality! Despite the language barrier, Penny helped translate and coordinate our room details, making us feel right at home, just as if we were in our own country. Chad's translation skills were incredibly professional and detailed, and he was very charming too! He and Johan even helped us buy souvenirs. The hotel itself was clean, tidy...
Overall, its good  services are good.   Two of us tried the Chinese Guangdong food restaurant.  Honestly, not authentic and too much salt or MSG.  Very thirsty whole night.  The bill for 2 eaters is same as one night's room rate.  For the quality of foods served  it's not worth it.
Right in the city center, super convenient for shopping. The room was spacious and the breakfast was excellent.
Convenient location and a good environment, highly recommended for business travelers.
Both the cleanliness and service made my family and me very happy during our stay. There are also plenty of restaurants inside, so you don't have to worry about not finding food during holidays.
This Four Seasons has a pretty good location, but the property itself feels a bit dated. Breakfast is served in the basement, and the dim lighting there didn't create a great ambiance. When I ordered coffee, the server simply brought me a whole pot to pour myself. I was like, 'Are you kidding me?!' The room was clean and tidied up meticulously by the staff every day. The night view from the room was beautiful. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the front desk staff was very patient and helpful during check-in. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient for shopping and dining.
I was very happy with the amenities!!! The Gym was clean and useful. The breakfast was Awesome!!!
The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and also very quiet. The service was excellent. There's a mall downstairs, and it's very close to Dongdaemun Market. Subway lines 1 and 4 are just a 5-minute walk away. The room had coffee and tea, but unfortunately, no milk, which made the coffee taste a bit lacking. Despite that, I would definitely book again. It's a hotel with great value for money.
I always stay here, and this was the best service I've ever received. A big thanks to the manager! I'll definitely be back!
The room was a bit small, and the bed was quite tiny. We could feel the strong winter winds coming through the window right by the bed. Pushing the beds together wasn't difficult, and the air conditioning worked well, though it was a bit windy. The cleanliness wasn't perfect; we found hair in three different spots, good thing we brought our own disposable bedding. The location is superb, with very...

It's good for the price. A 5-minute walk from the subway station. There is a coin washing machine, and lotion, toner, cooling oil, foam cleanser, and soap are available next to the check-in counter on the first floor, enhancing the convenience of guests. There's a microwave on the second floor, so it's good for heating frozen food. And I think the Toyoko Inn hotel in Seoul offers the best breakfast
The room size was perfect for one person. The breakfast was very healthy and varied daily. If you don't need cleaning during a consecutive stay, the staff thoughtfully leaves fresh towels and bottled water by your door every day. The front desk also provides facial cleanser and makeup remover upon request.
This is a typical Japanese capsule hotel – everything is compact. The bed is small, the bathtub is small, and once you put your luggage down, there's basically no extra space in the room. What's surprising though, is that despite the small room, the soundproofing is excellent. It was fully booked that day, but the entire floor was very quiet. It's perfectly fine for an overnight stay. They also offer...
A small Japanese hotel in yeungdeungpo area , 5 min walk to singil station. It was a good place for me as I wanted to visit Yeouido park which is only 3 stations away, and line 1 also directly takes me to Seoul station. The room is not too big but not too small either. Extremely close to Gimpo Airport. It's about a 30-minute subway ride on Line 5, and then a 5-minute walk from Songjeong Station. The hotel itself is a large, prominent building. The front desk on the first floor was very well-organized, and everything was in order. The room was small, and the window view wasn't great as it was too close to another building, but it was clean and had everything I needed...
Hotel was clean but space was limited as Japan style. breakfast was enough to eat. But hall was noisy. location was very good. If you travel with heavy luggage metro station not far. But not to close to elevator. Check in time is 15pm is too late. Check out time 10am too early for me.

The bedding in the room was just okay, and I didn't sleep very comfortably. I'm not sure if there were bed bugs, but after two nights, I broke out in small rashes. The location is undeniably great, right below Hyundai mall.
I had to cancel 1 night and even though i submitted the request within the amendment period, it was conveyed to the hotel and by the time the hotel responded, it had past the deadline. I felt that I was caught in between trip.com and the hotel, the time taken to communicate the amendment was delayed because of the communication time between the 2. When I arrived to stay the 1 night, the staff were...
This place is really, really shady. I was traveling with two kids, and they told me I had to pay an extra 550,000, claiming a room is only for two adults and one child, and an additional child incurs a fee. I accepted it, but then they tried to charge me again for an extra bed! Meanwhile, they were super friendly to foreigners – what a bunch of chameleons. The dust in the room's wardrobe was super...
The 6007 bus from the airport goes directly to the hotel. As soon as I arrived, a staff member came out to help with my luggage. The location is quite convenient. There's a mall right downstairs, and the supermarket in the basement has plenty of dining options and cafes. It's not far from the subway either. Ergonomics are spot on! While there's a price difference between peak and off-peak seasons, it's totally understandable given supply and demand. Aside from the price, everything else was flawless! I loved it. The mountain views from the hotel were also stunning (such a beautiful sight is rare in Gangnam).
Located in a very convenient location for shopping as food. Will come back again
Convenient location, just nest to airport bus stop. The room is clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. There is a wowpass machine in the lobby.
The location is super convenient, right downstairs there's an airport bus stop and Seolleung subway station. It's really easy to get to COEX and Apgujeong, and it's also very close to the Gangnam Police Station, so it feels very safe. The only minor downsides are that it can be a bit noisy from the street, and the pillows on the bed are a little too soft. The room itself is quite spacious, and it...
This morning, something unexpected happened in our room. My child fainted and started convulsing. Being in a foreign country, I was desperate. I asked if a staff member could come up with me to see what was happening...
I first stayed here in 2018 and thought it was fantastic; you could even enjoy a foot bath on the rooftop terrace at night. This is a wonderful hotel that my husband and I absolutely loved! It’s in a great location, just a 10-minute walk from Myeongdong Shopping Street and close to Seoul Station. A minor downside for me is that there are really a lot of offices in...
Great location, right in Myeongdong, with plenty of dining options downstairs. The room was a bit small, and check-in was self-service. Breakfast was pretty average; it's not worth it if it costs over 100 per person.
The room was quite small, and the first thing you see when you enter is the toilet. The toilet door is a full-length mirror, which I wasn't a fan of. The toilet and shower are separate, and the bathroom has a bathtub. The hotel buffet wasn't extensive, but it was decent enough. It's about a 6-7 minute walk to the nearest subway station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the Myeongdong shopping district, which...
Stayed in room 1822. The view from the window was great. The room was a bit small but very comfortable and convenient. My room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located and many places are accessed by foot. Best part was walking out of the hotel in the morning and sneaking into narrow pass to Ikseon Dong Hanok village with many beautiful cafes.

The shower door leaked a bit (water pooled outside after showering), and since the room wasn't very big, this was a minor inconvenience. Aside from that, everything else exceeded my expectations! The photos on the booking page actually do this hotel a disservice; the service and hotel environment are easily 5-star standard!!
Nice hotel close to Itaewon, although rooms are really small and not as well thought out as other 5 star hotels. Altitude lounge and pool were closed for the winter season and no air conditioning in the room (only heat) which meant we needed to sleep with windows open. Decent breakfast selection.
Very kind staff with most of them speaking english. Stayed there couple of times and the rooms are nice here. I once had a distinct bad smell in my room but staff were kind enough to quickly change it. Gym is very nice and the pool is big.
The room itself isn't very big, but the location is great; it's convenient to get anywhere by taxi. The service was decent. There's a coffee shop right next to the lobby on the first floor, but the music there is quite loud. The air conditioning in the room was also a bit noisy. Overall, it's a good budget-friendly option.

The breakfast is also plentiful. There's a 7-Eleven and a CU right next door and across the street, and plenty of dining options nearby.
First off, the service was genuinely excellent. Since it was cold winter weather, they thoughtfully gave me an extra room card, saying it would ensure the room stayed warm. Loved the onsen and free food (though the time for the soba was quite short)! Wouldn’t recommend taking airport bus in the evening as we got stuck in peak hour traffic for 2.5 hours. Thankfully our flight was delayed.

The environment was comfortable and clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The large public bath on B1 was incredibly relaxing after a long day. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try breakfast, but I'll definitely be back next time.
Great for families! The onsen is an added value to the hotel especially after tons of walking during the day and be back with the hot bath ton relax. The location is excellent, right in the Myeongdong shopping district. The hygiene and environment are great, and the service is very good. They even have staff who speak Chinese. It's only a three to five-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Even though it's in a bustling shopping area, it's not noisy at all at night.
The room was small, but very clean, and they tidied it up promptly every day! It's super convenient for exploring Myeongdong. The only downside is that if you arrive at the hotel in the afternoon or evening, you can't park directly in front; you'll have to walk a bit.
The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Myeongdong. Check-in is on the L floor, and it's very close to the subway exit, making it convenient to get anywhere. The surrounding area is full of shops and restaurants. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The Solaria Nishitetsu is a fantastic choice for travelers who prioritize exceptional location, modern design, and impeccable service. It’s a polished, efficient hotel that feels like a serene Japanese-inspired retreat amidst the exhilarating chaos of Myeongdong. --- **Location: (★★★★★)** Absolutely unbeatable. This is the hotel’s biggest selling point. * **Myeongdong Metro:** Exit 5 is literally...
Excellent location. The room is a little bit small and the small table in the room has occupied a lot of limited space.

Location is very good, right at the heart of Insadong, with a lot of food options. Got a room with view of the Joyuesa temple! Clean and comfortable, with a full menu of pillows for selection.
Great environment and location! The surrounding facilities are really convenient, and the room was very clean. There are all sorts of unique shops right downstairs. It was raining when I visited, so I walked around with an umbrella and it felt just like something out of a romantic movie.
The hygiene was good, and the location was decent too. There are two subway stations nearby, and plenty of restaurants. The only downside is that most places close too early; they stop taking orders after 8 PM, which meant I had trouble finding good food for two days. The convenience store downstairs was very handy. My room had no view at all, and it felt pretty desolate.
Traveling during the May Day holiday, prices were inflated, and after comparing a few options, I felt Nine Tree offered the best value for money. I stayed for 4 nights and saved almost 2000 KRW compared to staying in Mapo, which I then used for taxis – a good deal. The hotel is quite close to Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. For other destinations, we took taxis. A taxi to Myeongdong...
The location is excellen with several train stations nearby, making it very convenient! I would consider staying here again on my next trip! The only thing that bothered me was that a sewage smell started filling the bathroom from the second night of my stay... The cups provided in the room are paper cups so guests who prefer regular cups may want to bring their own. It was also very convenient that...
Exceeded all expectations! The hotel's location is superb, really close to all the attractions. There are plenty of shops downstairs, and I highly recommend OurBakery – their bread is delicious! You don't need to bother with the hotel breakfast. They also have a self-service laundry and a gym, which is perfect for travelers. The room size was just right, though it would be even better if the shower...

Seoul, 61, Myeongdong-gil, Jung-gu (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The location is truly excellent, incredibly close to everything. I could easily walk to the duty-free shop, go back and forth, drop off my purchases, even head back to the hotel for a nap at lunchtime, and then continue exploring in the afternoon. My only minor complaint is that the service felt a bit cold. Overall, it was still pretty good.
The hotel location is the best, it’s located at Myeongdong. Very convenient for shopping and a lot of foods and cafe nearby. The setback is the hotel amenities is quite old but still acceptable. However, we can’t rate it as four stars level. Sorry to say that my expectation of 4 stars hotel is higher and the room space is not big. The good things is we can take limosine bus to and from airport, very...
I recently stayed at the Royal Hotel Seoul in Myeongdong, and overall, it’s a solid choice if you want convenience, comfort, and easy access to everything in the city. The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest advantage — you step right out into the heart of Myeongdong where shops, street food stalls, cafés, and subway stations are all just a few minutes away. It’s incredibly easy to explore Seoul...
The room was a bit small but perfectly adequate. The staff were incredibly friendly and the facilities were excellent.
Perfect location and service. The staff are helpful.
Great location, right by Myeongdong Night Market and a church, but the room was quite small.
