We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Cap Negret. The room was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day — everything stayed clean, tidy, and well maintained, with fresh towels regularly replaced. The food was honestly beyond expectations. Three meals a day with huge variety — meat, fish, vegetarian options, fresh salads, and a very generous dessert selection. Everything was consistently tasty. I’m quite a picky eater, and I don’t say this lightly — it’s worth staying here for the food alone. We also rented bikes from the hotel and had a great ride to the lighthouse — an easy and really enjoyable trip. Paula and Yurii from guest experience were especially helpful with arranging the bikes and setting up the spa. The spa experience was overall very good. The sauna itself wasn’t particularly hot (around 65–70°C), but the jacuzzi was excellent, and having a cold plunge pool made it a relaxing and worthwhile experience. The heated beds were a nice touch as well. Service was quick and efficient. At one point, the bathroom door broke — we reported it to reception, and someone came within five minutes and fixed it immediately. That level of responsiveness stood out. Staff across the hotel — reception and guest services — were friendly, helpful, and spoke good English. We were also given a packed lunch for the road, which was a thoughtful extra. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful hotel with lovely clean rooms. We enjoyed sauna facilities, Yuriii was very helpful and friendly. great location for train station if you want to venture out as there isn't a great deal around and not much open at this time of year (February)
Disappointed with the massage deal as
we all booked massage. I went to see lady asking for prices, deal was 45 euros and the use of spa. When I had my massage I was asked for a further 22 euros when I queried this, I was told I had a 45 minute massage, the deal was for 25 minutes. This wasn't made clear.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel , booked through TUI. It was definitely not up to the standard we would expect from TUI hotels as it was geared completely towards large groups of cyclists who completely dominated the communal areas, clomped about the hotel in full biking gear including studded shoes and helmets, and even took bikes up to their rooms via the lifts. Even the decor was aimed at the cycling market with artwork representing cyclists. It should be made clear that this is a cycling hotel and it's not a good choice for couples when it is the cycling season. The worst experience was at dinner when the restaurant was completely taken over by large noisy groups, who jostled at the food counters and stripped the buffet. It was not easy to locate tables suitable for couples and the noise level was through the roof. Some of the staff appeared stressed dealing with this extremely busy environment. The choice of food was also limited. On a positive note the rooms were kept clean but we would not return to this hotel even though we liked Altea and other couples we spoke to said the same.

We have just arrived home from a ten day stay at this lovely hotel. We had a very nice room overlooking the town with a side sea view. The room was kept immaculately clean during our stay. Our view also took in the car park, and we were delighted that our stay coincided with that of a classic car group, featuring original Minis, approx 50 in total! In the hotel also were many, many international cycling groups. Now I had seen in previous TA reviews that clients had advised the hotel to section off an area for “couples”. Sadly this advice was not taken and each night we had to try and find a quieter table which honestly was impossible. Tables for the cycling groups are laid out in rows and mostly 14 to 20 at each table. The majority of the clients are young, enthusiastic and very hungry. Getting your food at the buffet was very difficult with much jostling for dishes. In fact at the hot plate many items simply disappeared before your eyes! I realise that to the cycling teams we must have just been an inconvenience but it is not the British way to push ahead, which was to our detriment. Food quality was generally very good. However the ambience was not of a restaurant but a canteen. The other problem that we had was the lack of comfortable spaces to relax other than our room. When we went into the bar there were no seats available, and again it was full of groups celebrating their successes of the day which is understandable! But very noisy!! I understand that we were in the minority here, but TUI had not pointed any of this out on their website. I understand that this is a winter training hotel that in the summer must be gorgeous to visit, but it is not advisable for couples on a winter break.

Perfect place, very spacious rooms, picturesque views, very clean, the attention from the staff is magnificent. It was our wedding and thay had this detail with us which made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!!!!

Everything was without any problems, the room was clean and comfortable. Great food and a pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.

We have just returned from a 3 day break and have nothing but praise for the staff. We were always greeted with a smile whenever we saw staff in the hotel. They also seemed to have great relationships within the team. Whike we were there it was my birthday. During the afternoon I was surprised with a large piece of chocolate cake and a card from all the staff. The rooms are comfortable and clean as is the rest of the hotel. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the town but as we enjoy walking it wasn't a problem. There is a tram station just a short walk away. This was our fourth year at the hotel and will probably return again next year. I have no hesitation in recommending the Cap Negret.

Everything has been wonderful! So so happy that we found this place. There's nothing that I could think of that could be improved. Incredible views, beautiful beach, clean fair sized pool, lots of seating and sun loungers, great variety of very tasty food in the buffet. The rooms were clean bright and tidy and the staff were very attentive when it came to cleaning it. In fact the staff were all great - friendly, helpful and understanding. One member in particular stood out, Audrey. She had a great energy, was really fun and friendly and did an especially great job of providing a nice variety of entertainment in the evening - games, puzzles, darts, karaoke. Really wish we didn't have to leave, would love to come again!

Stayed at Cap Negret for a week at the end of October with 7 other family members. 25 degrees! Hotel was great and very clean. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. A convenient 10 minute walk from Altea and a couple of minutes walk from the bus and tram stops. The tram was brilliant and cheap for travelling to Denia, Benidorm, Alicante etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel if visiting the area. Altea is lovely, lots of classy bars and restaurants. We played golf and were picked up from the hotel. Would recommend unionjackgolf. Hotel is used by lots of cyclists because of the proximity to the hills. Would definitely go back.
