Hotel San Vicente in Conil de la Frontera

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and friendly, so I have no complaints. However, the problems began with the hotel's management and maintenance, which are clearly not up to par.

The first night was peaceful, but at dawn, the disaster began: light flooded in, as even though there was a blind, it didn't exist. It was impossible to sleep after dawn, which is unacceptable for a hotel.

The bathroom didn't help either: it has no extractor fan, which causes odors to accumulate. Furthermore, they didn't provide any basic toiletries (shaving foam, toothpaste, etc.), which is surprising given the price and quality of the accommodation.

The second night was even worse. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent: you could hear everything happening in the adjoining rooms, even normal conversations. Furthermore, the doors are extremely noisy and don't fit properly, so the only way to close them is by slamming them, which is truly annoying.

But the worst thing was what happened at the end of the stay: I found two cockroaches in the bed and on the pillow. There's nothing more disgusting than waking up with insects crawling on your body. This fact alone justifies a poor review.

I want to make it clear that the employees do their best and were always polite, but it's clear that the owners don't invest in maintenance, deep cleaning, soundproofing, or pest control. The poor management is evident and is directly affecting the quality of the experience.

Conclusion:
The hotel urgently needs renovations and greater attention to guest comfort and hygiene. Until the owners take real measures, I cannot recommend it to those seeking rest and tranquility.

AWFUL!!! Don't come back!!

The shower leaks, the floor is cracked, and the entire room is flooded.
There's a plumbing problem, and the hotel smells like sewage; it's a disgusting smell throughout your entire stay.
The location is good, but there are many hotels for that price with a normal shower that don't smell like sewage.
The interior room has a tiny window that looks out onto a wall that's only 20cm high, and pigeons sleep there, making noise all night long.
The door was broken and couldn't be closed; they did come to fix it, though.

Terrible place - we booked for 3 nights and ended up leaving at 05am on the first morning as the place was so humid and really horrific.
