We visited Andalusia in the last week of its opening in Nov 2025 and we had really lovely weather. This was our 15th IKOS holiday and our first out of Greece. We were not disappointed it was everything that the Greek resorts give us and it was nice to explore the Spanish coastline both by using the cycle hire and the car hire for the day. We had the most amazing stay at Ikos Andalusia. The service felt genuinely warm, the food was outstanding (every restaurant was a hit), and the whole place has this relaxed, luxurious vibe without feeling stuffy. Waking up to sea views, spending the day by the pool, and ending with dinner at sunset — it just felt easy and special. We left already wanting to come back.

Large room, good location for the purpose of trip

I had two bookings and only stayed one night before going to another hotel for two nights, then returned for three more nights under the other booking. This one night stay was fine, but I have some complaints about the all inclusive upgrade on my second booking, but that is for that review. It’s not worth it. Great one nighter though.

It has been a good experience, I liked the apartment, everything was clean, everything was fine, there was no noise although I would have liked it to be a corner apartment but it couldn't be.

Great facilities, although our room wasn't very clean the day we checked in! Friendly and attentive staff! Breakfast was very good, with a wide variety, it's just a shame that people have more eyes than stomachs, and the food waste is absurd!! Beautiful property in a great location. Be aware the hotel is rebranding from Kempinski to Melia and will be closed from Oct 1, 2025 until April1 , 2026 when it reopens under the Melia banner. Stayed for 1 week in September. The hotel is located at the side of a busy road which isn’t really an issue as all the rooms are located at the rear. The area in general wouldn’t be the cleanest and seems like it’s a place that tried to be a bit of a resort in the early 00s but failed. Beware of the 5* claim. It is definitely not. 3.5* at best. This is a little far out from town but only 8 euros in a taxi. We had trouble one day getting a taxi but luckily has a hire car. The pool area is nice, very hot but lots of nice parasols. You can have a waited service for drinks and food or order from The bar. Breakfast was a good selection.

The pictures made this look a lot better than it actually was but otherwise was fine for a couple of nights.

Wonderful adults only hotel with excellent staff. pets friendly. it has been my 5th trip to Southern Spain and i do not even consider other places to stay. definitely recommend anyone who is looking for this type of hospitality.

Love this place but some guests should remember thats its an adults hotel and also its a spa so relaxing in mind. There was young kids and also some adults who i stead of relaxing their fun was to be loud, obnoxious and play rugby in the water. When the whole atmosphere was people chilling out.

I love sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. The team is nice, although they can get a bit overwhelmed. The menu is huge, and let me wonder how the chef manages to handles such a broad mixed selection. Booked and checked in at midnight due to a last minute emergency. The receptionist was very accommodating amd friendly. The room was a good size with a terrace and fridge. The bathroom was large and the room was clean.

Daniel from the kitchen was very accommodating. Every day he made me and omelette and a fresh coffee and always did it with a smile on his face. He was always rushing around working but always found the time to be polite, manageable and welcoming. Thank you for making my stay at the Pedra Paloma a memorable one.

Our first trip to Estepona. We stayed 3 nights and ate in the restaurant several times. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioned room was clean and comfortable. Beautiful beaches minutes away. We will certainly stay here again!

Lovely family run hotel, they are super friendly, super helpful, so kind. We've had a great stay, and we will most definitely be back. Although the hotel is a 2 star, it has everything you need, and everything is super clean. A really pleasant happy experience. Thank you for everything!

Very warm welcome when we arrived on the 30th March. Room was perfect 2nd floor with a balcony with a table and chairs and a sea view. It had a double bed and a single bed. The bath room had plenty of towels and a bath with a shower over it. There was a coffee shop on the ground floor that was open breakfast till 9.00 pm in the evening.
