METT Marbella – Hotel in Estepona

Me, my wife and my 3 months old son have been there during the last week of August 2021 for a 5 night stay.

One can see that the hotel is well taken cared of. The infrastructure is great and the cleanness of common space is great! The furniture and decoration is very good for a summer vacation. Our room was very nice with a nice side view to the sea and was cleaned every day. We were happy with this!

A great part of this hotel is the fact that it is at the beach (literally - see on google map) so one can easily go to the beach and relax and since it is more a family hotel the pool is more a-pool-for-adults-taking-their-children. The beach itself is nice but one has to be careful with the stones on the 2 meters long at the water line.

The staff at the reception were very welcoming! It created a very nice feeling. Thank you.

Generally the staff is helpful and polite while things flow normally. When misunderstandings arise or you have either constructive feedback to give to them or complain about some attitude that is not acceptable then there it is very noticeable they are not prepared to continue to make your visit comfortable. It is noticeable the lack of emotional and communication skills when dealing with situations that require a bit more of discernment/communication.

It makes no sense to charge for the drinks in a breakfast and dinner pack. Put it on the total price. Anyways this and also other information could be given in the welcoming phase to avoid unwanted situations.

Booked a lateral sea view room, but your only view of the sea is if you lean over the balcony rails.
The staff were great, the heated swimming pool is outstanding but food and drink is very expensive (especially for Spain).
