Nice hotel. Gave it 3 stars for location as its a bit out of the way of things. Major road in between hotel and all local shops and restaurants. You have a 15 minute walk to cross over the road across high foot bridge. The pool is excellent. Never that busy and no kids. Rooms cleaned everyday by helpful staff. Hotel described as 5 star but I'd give it 4 at a push. Just because you have a bloke at the front opening doors for you and charge through the roof for a pint of beer, doesn't make you 5 star. Overall I would recommend for a nice quiet getaway.

Stayed for 1 week in September. The hotel is located at the side of a busy road which isn’t really an issue as all the rooms are located at the rear. The area in general wouldn’t be the cleanest and seems like it’s a place that tried to be a bit of a resort in the early 00s but failed. Beware of the 5* claim. It is definitely not. 3.5* at best. I did enjoy my stay and it was quiet the rooms are comfortable as are the beds. However, the walls are paper thin. I was disturbed on 3 of my 7 nights by loud groups and neighbouring rooms early departures. I had a massage in the Spa which was excellent. I found the staff at the hotel to be quite standoffish, apart from a few. A special mention to Rachida, Jesus and the massage therapist in the Spa. Rachida was the only waitress who actually seemed to enjoy her job, even having a few jokes with me. Jesus really looked after the pool area on the days he was working - his days off were not as good. The lady in the spa was so friendly and really made me feel at ease. The hotel really could do with a decor update. The room was serviced every day and was clean, however the balcony and corridors could have done with a little more attention. I had breakfast twice in the hotel and wasn’t impressed, the second time was laziness really. There are a number of restaurants across the road which are far superior and much cheaper. On the topic of prices-drinks in the hotel are extortionate. Vodka and Fanta lemon over €12. Small 330ml magners €6. They also don’t provide a drinks menu so it’s a bit of a guessing game. The air con in the room is good, but the minibar fridge kicking in every now and again is quite annoying. Overall I did enjoy my time there but I don’t think I would book it again. It’s not as bad as some reviews would have you believe, but if you’re expecting four seasons or the ritz be prepared to be disappointed. There isn’t an awful lot to do nearby but Marbella, estepona and puerto banus are only a short bus ride away and the bus is only €2.50, with a bus stop a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There’s no needs to fight over sunbeds as they are well policed, but the grass area turned into a bit of a muddy puddle on the days they power washed the pool area.

We booked for a single bedroom!
The hotel gave us a penthouse because of a problem with overbooking! The employees were very nice and respectful and the breakfast was amazing too!

My experience at this hotel was unexpectedly good. Since I entered the hotel I was greeted very nicely, friendly and helpful staff. very clean rooms, super friendly cleaning ladies. The food at the restaurant is very tasty. We will definitely return to this hotel and I will recommend it to friends!!!! And the biggest surprise: on my birthday I received a champagne gift at the door, a gesture that made me very happy!!

Very pleasant staff. Spacious, well-equipped, and clean room. The hotel is very nice and close to everything.
The only downside: the soundproofing in the rooms is really poor. You have to hope you don't have any overly partying neighbors, or you risk being woken up.

Went here after being married in Gibraltar. Staff were rude and unhelpful, room was filthy, cockroaches in the bathroom.
When we complained we were told there was nothing they could do.

My only disappointment with this place was its location. It was tucked away just off a motorway and the amenities nearby were limited. We had to walk down the road then cross a motorway then walk a bit again to get to a selection of restaurants and shops. The beach was a slight trek too and definitely not the nicest with all the rocks and debris. But I absolutely loved the service at the hotel, the staff were lovely and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast buffet was excellent and was always a huge choice. The quality of all the food was fantastic except for the bacon which was always frazzled like strips of leather but they were happy to cook fresh bacon at your request. There was an issue we had with something in the room but upon reporting it to reception, they resolved it very quickly and made it up to us with a bottle of Cava which was very much appreciated. The service there is excellent and I really do recommend this place highly. Jamal, Miguel and Sandro, just to mention a few names, were all super helpful and really made a difference to our stay there. Thank you.

We had a Sunday roast here. Food was excellent quality but a bit pricey. Service was quick and friendly. Desserts were very nice too. I recommend this place very much but it is expensive.

Beautiful meal made all the better by having a waiter who is truly a rarity in customer service. He is credit to you extremely busy but still had time to make small chat. We didn't get his name but he is irish. Well done

I eat here regularly with my friends and we know our currys, this is up there with the best we have ever had, even better than our favourite restaurants in the UK , if you want the best curry on the Costa look no further than Masala, I have many favourites but the food I tend to order regularly is the Stuffed Tandoori mushrooms to start that are just amazing followed by a Chicken Jalfrezi - the restaurant always adds extra green chillies for me as I like it super super hot, they will vary the meal to suit your tastes nothing is too much trouble. The staff are fantastic friendly and attentive.

I am always looking around the coast for genuine Italian Restaurants and I found this one by accident and because it had the sort of classy look that defines money spent to create ambience. The interior was smart and spotlessly clean and the background music just right for someone brought up in the sixties. As a hotelier and one time restauranteur I am fussy about where I do my eating and nothing pleases me more than to find a place with a hostess like the owner. Brigitte Pigani to my surprise was until recently the owner of the much talked about Villa de Medici restaurant which she appears to have closed temporarily whilst she gets on with this one. In any case, I felt very well attended and she was part of the evening without any doubt. Other clients were also drawn to her charm and obvious professional approach to the business of entertaining.
I chose a house wine which I failed to ask about, but was red, rounded and appreciably woody - just what a needed before a pasta dish although as a once a week glass merchant, I did not ask for another to carry me through the meal. I look for and got "al dente" even with fresh pasta which can, in my opinion go a bit beyond and my first choice after giving up red meat, is seafood which she offered within a speciality called Brigitte even though the seafood one with Mussels was more expensive. I accepted the offer and there were enough peeled large prawns to keep me happy and I took all very gently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sauce was subtle and did not drown it. It was also unusually laid over a bed of basil which made a great deal of difference with respect to texture and taste.
Finally, I chose the usual Tiramisu expecting to be disappointed as it is often bought in from elsewhere but whether it was not, it was a very substantial portion, did not have any element of freezer in it and very creamy. The bill including coffee was 29.15 euros and it is difficult to get out of most places along the coast under that for mere basic.
La Fiorentina provides live music every day so for couples with romantic escapades and a sense of fun, it can turn into one of those magic evenings they look for.

Had just arrived in Marbella quite late and this was one of the only restaurants open in the area. Pizzas were tasty, wine very nice for a reasonable price, but starters and desserts were pretty bad. The waiter insisted that the desserts were homemade but they clearly were not and tasted terrible. Even though the pizzas were OK, I still wouldn't recommend it.
