Reviews
The service from staff was also poor, clearly had no interest in having us there, whether that’s because we were English or not we don’t know.
On a high, the golf facilities were excellent. The course was lovely, and challenging so worth a visit. The service within the bar was once again poor but we were used to it by then so shrugged it off.
We have no objection to rejecting Spain as an option moving forward but such a shame.
Had to stay close to Tarifa and that place was the only aparthotel available. Mold EVERYWHERE ! Kitchen is terribly equipped and falling apart already. Worse kind of neighbours taking drugs playing loud music THE WHOLE night. Apparently several criminals aswell as there was a shooting during my stay. Police came several times to detain guests in the 2 month I stayed. Paid close to 4000€ for my stay.
Alarm goes off and stays for over 1hour in the whole complex.
During my stay I got to know the staff aswell.
Soraya & Lucia should be fired IMMEDIATELY ! Was insulted by them twice for no reason. Ivan who is responsible for them should also be fired immediately. Bunch of Spanish hilly billy rednecks who should stay far away from service. I documented a couple of videos of the shooting and also the alarm staying on for over 1 hour but Google only lets you post pictures.
Not worth the money is an understatement to be honest. Other guests seem to have had a similar experience.
STAY AWAY book somewhere else
The hotel's scenery is simply stunning. Standing on the terrace, you can overlook rolling mountains and golf courses. At sunset, the horizon is painted a warm orange, and the sea appears and disappears in the distance—every snapshot is wallpaper-worthy. The rooms have private outdoor terraces furnished with tables, chairs, and lounge chairs. Enjoying a coffee here in the morning or relaxing in the evening breeze is private and comfortable—a truly immersive vacation experience.
The public swimming pool is a crystal-clear blue, surrounded by lounge chairs and greenery, radiating tropical charm. It's super convenient for swimming or sunbathing. The restaurant's design is also thoughtful. Blue-toned chairs paired with vintage chandeliers, tiled pillars, and Christmas decorations add a warm touch. The dining environment is relaxed yet stylish, and the food perfectly reflects local flavors—I was incredibly satisfied.
The building's minimalist white color scheme blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural scenery, while the soft furnishings add a touch of Spanish flair, making for a comfortable yet refreshing stay. Whether you want to relax and unwind or explore the surrounding area, this hotel is perfect for you. Highly recommended for vacation enthusiasts!
This hotel is a complete disaster. The rooms were filthy, full of mold, and never cleaned throughout the entire stay. You don’t get towels, and when you ask, you’re told you’ll have to wait four days! Housekeeping never showed up until the day of checkout – and to make things even worse, they barged in at 8:30 in the morning and woke us up. Totally unacceptable.
The location is terrible – isolated, with nothing to do around. The pool was dirty and clearly not maintained. The parking garage is a nightmare: only a Smart car would fit inside, and if you do manage to find a spot after driving around for an hour, you’ll still have to walk a long way to get to your apartment.
This place is exhausting, not relaxing. Instead of enjoying a holiday, you’ll spend your time stressed, frustrated, and disgusted. Absolutely not recommended – avoid at all costs STAY AWAY !
This was by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
Customer Service & Staff
The staff were consistently rude, unapologetic, and poorly trained in communication and customer service. They appeared disorganised and uninterested in resolving problems. At no point did we feel welcomed or valued as guests.
Cleanliness
Our room was filthy. It was only partially cleaned once—on the 7th day of our 9-day stay. The bathroom had gunk peeling from the sink edges, mould in the shower corners, and cigarette butts under the bed. As non-smokers, this clearly indicated the room hadn’t been cleaned properly for weeks.
Accessibility
The hotel is not accessible for wheelchair users or anyone with a buggy. The lifts were broken the entire stay, and we were never able to use them.
Locked Out at 2:30 AM
One of the worst incidents happened midway through our stay. Returning to the hotel at 2:30 am, we found our key card didn’t work. Staff struggled for 45 minutes, changing batteries and calling security, but gave us no clear updates—just curt replies in Spanish. Eventually, they said a locksmith was on the way, then disappeared.
About 20 minutes later, a man arrived on a scooter, failed to fix the lock, and ended up climbing through our window—straight onto our bed—to open the door. No staff member supervised this, and no one followed up. The next day, after multiple trips to reception, a locksmith finally fixed the lock after several more hours. Mechanical failures can happen, but the way staff handled this—with zero empathy or apology—was unacceptable.
Food
The food was mediocre with very limited options. The breakfast buffet never changed during our entire stay.
Other Issues
At one point, staff demanded a card to stamp during mealtime from us that we had never been given which they did not accept.
Communication between staff and guests was almost non-existent.
Overall
The hotel is large and confusing to navigate. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the number of guests or meet basic needs in a timely manner.
We did not enjoy our stay and would never recommend this hotel. Poor communication, dreadful customer service, and a complete lack of cleanliness made it a deeply disappointing experience.
Paid parking, limited free street parking.
Small pool for such a large complex.
Breakfast was adequate and varied, but half-board was poor quality. Two fish dishes and two meat dishes, but lacking in flavor on all the days we stayed.
Towels are charged €5, plus a €10 deposit until they are returned.
For stays of less than 3 days, sheets and towels are not changed.
A kitchen cleaning kit is provided; if left dirty, there is a penalty.
