Hotel Residencia Miami in Torremolinos

Hotel Residencia Miami in Torremolinos had offered the best solid hot shower of our whole Spain trip! This smaller hotel contained tired but cozy traditional decor. Our room was clean and comfortable with balcony doors overlooking a nice private courtyard and pool. It was a great walkable location for the local oceanfront boardwalk. The host was very willing to assist with our evening walking and dining plans, and he was full of good suggestions. Having a private parking lot was super handy. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We booked this as a cheap and cheerful quick getaway, we wasn't expecting too much but we had a lovely stay, the staff were all lovely and really helpful. The hotel is a historic house (flamenco dancer Lola Medina lived there) and we loved the feel of it (might not be everyone's cup of tea) the hotel is small and we liked that. The pool is salt water, a good size and clean. There was enough sun loungers - no one reserved them - and they had new cushions on. The room was basic but clean. We had everything we needed, beds were comfy and the bathroom was a good size and very clean. The hotel allowed us to keep our cases in a cupboard and use the facilities on departure day as we had a late flight. Pool house has a toilet and shower and they lent us towels. Only improvements would be a full length mirror and another plug (I realise that's not easy in an older building). The location was 10/10 literally 2 min walk to the beach and an abundance of restaurants. There's also a baker's there which was fab, we got baguettes and took them back to the hotel at lunch as the kids were having fun in the pool. There's also a shop almost opposite which has everything you'll need

A real find in this busy tourist town. Don't let the modest number of stars fool you into thinking this is a run-down tourist hotel. It may be basic, but it has style and character, is always clean and even in July it still felt intimate with plenty of space around the pool. The building is wonderful, the staff helpful and the position one street from the sea front is convenient and tranquil. The only downsides are very noisy airconditioning in our room that was also difficult to set to a steady temperature (although it was very effective) and over economy in things like replenishing loo roll, no glasses, no fridge and only a tiny slither of soap. It's a boutique hotel being run as a two star hotel, which makes it great value for those seeking charm and character.

Lovely hotel perfect for peaceful getaway. Close to beach , shops and buses and just a bit further from train station makes it an ideal base to visit other parts of costa del sol. Rooms are basic , clean, plenty of hot water and with good air con. Nice bakery on corner about 25 meters away. Lots of restaurants close by to choose from. We loved it.

Very pleasant hotel for a stay in Tormillinos. Great value and location.
Breakfast isn't overly wonderful but for €7 it's not too bad value, eating out for breakfast would be my recommendation.

It was central to the sea front and independent cafes and little shops. Lovely atmosphere. Very quant hotel. Very basic room but spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast for E6 excellent value. Free car parking a bonus. The downfall is no lifts, so could be a struggle with large suitcases.

This hotel is quite cozy and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The room that I had was small but good enough for just me. There are restaurants and small grocery stores all within a short walking distance from the hotel that all stay open very, very late. The parking situation is is rather tight, if you have a bigger car, you’ll have a tough time parking.

I love everything about this hotel! I have stayed here a few times for a night or two but have just returned from a week's holiday with my daughter. We had a 3 bedded room so had more than enough space and were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and allowed me to keep my medication in the fridge. The location is superb - 5 minute flat walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

Had a brief 1 night stay at Hotel Residencia Miami. Had to leave at 7am so could not try the breakfast. But the place itself was very pretty, beds comfortable, an excellent location,and parking was available. This ticked all the boxes for our 1 night. We were in Torremolinos as we had a flight from Malaga Airport the next day, and to see what Torremolinos was like. The location as I say was excellent. Within a minute of leaving the hotel you have bars and restaurants and shops. With the sea and lovely beach maybe 2 minutes walk.
