Hotel Maison Ardois La Ciudadela Marbella in Marbella

Wonderful tiny boutique hotel in old town Marbella. It is in the perfect location in the middle of everything - only about a 10 minute walk to the beach too. I was only able to stay one night (I wish I could’ve stayed longer!) The staff was incredibly helpful with beach, restaurant recommendations, and transportation. Delicious breakfast in the morning at the hotel’s downstairs restaurant. Also- be sure to check out the rooftop bar! Will definitely look to stay here again next time I am in town :)

One of the best hotels i’ve ever been to. Beautiful modern room, simple and just beautiful! Had the room with a small balcony which made my stay even extra special ! Definitely would go back there. The location is perfect, everything is a walk away, except puerto banus though. Food was amaaaazing and a must try !

Excellent: service, rooms, breakfast, dinner, surroundings, ..... every detail! From everything you can feel that someone has thought a lot about everything and had a feeling for every detail! I don't even want to recommend the hotel so that they have a free room for us next time! :-)

I must say, a fantastic boutique hotel. Our room was spacious and very comfortable...room 106. The beds and linen are just the best. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and a joy. Location in the Old Town is perfect for wandering, shopping and easy access to all amenities. Breakfast and the general restaurant are excellent. Personally I missed a bar for a night cap.

We stayed at El Castillo in October. It is a wonderful boutique hotel tucked away in the centre of Old Town Marbella and a short walk from Orange Square.
There is an intimate bar downstairs but the jewel in the crown is the roof terrace bar where we also had a quite superb breakfast each morning.
The best thing about this place, though, is the staff who could not have been more helpful.
Our stay, sadly, had to be cut short by a family emergency back home. The El Castillo team were so helpful and compassionate in assisting our early departure and we are very grateful to them.
We won’t hesitate to return here.

We spent three nights in the Presidential Suite. The room was beautiful, they had every amenity you could think of. The hotel is situated in the best area in the city. The restaurant is 5 star and the service is amazing. The front desk staff were very helpful. We loved our stay and will be back!

I stayed at the Maison Ardois for 4 nights and 3 days and I can say it was the best hotel we stayed at in Spain! The service and attention to detail was unmatched. The breakfast was amazing and included and the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to leave. We also left our passports and they let us come back and look in the room even after we checked out and we found them! So relieved they were able help us. Amazing price, location, and service 10/10 recommend

Amazing location in the middle of old town Marbella with so much going on yet the hotel was quiet and very relaxing. The staff were more than helpful and I will almost certainly stay again when I next have a long weekend visit. Sadly we did not use the restaurant which I am told is of a very high standard as we were attending a wedding. Breakfast is very good sitting on the roof top open terrace which doubles as a bar in the evening.
Thank you to all of the staff that made us feel so comfortable and welcome.

This hotel is one of the best, if not the best, we have ever stayed in. From before we even got there - our flight was cancelled last minute and the hotel staff were so efficient coming back to us putting our minds at rest completely. To top it all off, when we eventually arrived (a day late) they upgraded us. The hotel is a very peaceful place to be although you are only minutes away from everything. The rooms are sumptuous and very comfortable and have everything you need. The roof top bar is a beautiful place to sit and have drinks of an evening and to have breakfast every morning, which was delicious and healthy too. We would never stay anywhere else and would recommend anyone going there to say here. Five star service, food and above all staff. Cannot recommend highly enough.

⁃ as a door to a new world of pleasure and adventure! Everything is amazing! Every detail of the interior is designed to deliver joy and satisfaction. The night in the gentle embrace of the space of the hotel room was followed by the day beginning with the sunrise and .. breakfast! It was something new every time - delicious food, perfect service, pleasant conversations. At the end of our holiday there was dinner that I will long remember as a show, where every employee of the restaurant played the main role! From the bottom of my heart - thank you!
