Occidental Puerto Banús Hotel in Marbella

We had a wonderful stay at the Occidental hotel and truly enjoyed the welcoming, child-friendly atmosphere. The facilities are excellent for families and it made our stay very comfortable and relaxing.

All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile, which made a big difference to our experience. We would especially like to extend our sincere thanks to Francisco in the dining area. He was consistently cheerful, attentive and helpful every day and his warm attitude made our meals even more enjoyable.

Thank you to the entire team for such a pleasant and memorable stay. We truly appreciate the care and effort shown by everyone.

Do you want to stay here….YES. If you want to know why then read on it’s all very positive but one of the best hotels for a short break that I’ve had the pleasure of staying in.

From the minute I arrived, checking was quick, easy and staff were ultra helpful. Right down to offering us a free umbrella as it was raining.

The room was spacious, immaculate and had everything you’d expect, plus more…..sink, fridge, free water, iron and board.

Breakfast (included) had a massive selection inc cava to make mimosas if thats your thing. Francesco was very welcoming and helpful at breakfast. Extremely well fed before starting the day exploring.

The location is great, hotel feels modern, plenty of areas to sit in with a decent sized pool and hotel amenities inc a lovely restaurant and bar.

If you’re a really fussy traveller then you may find some minor faults but I didn’t.

Hotel is incredible, very clean and modern. Location is perfect, only short walk to the marina. Staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. I have to shout out Francisco Javier, he was super friendly, happy and brightened the start of our day up at breakfast! We are 100% returning again in August!

We had a fantastic stay at Occidental Puerto Banús.

The location couldn’t be better, just a few steps from the marina, the main square, and El Corte Inglés, which made everything incredibly convenient.

The hotel feels modern, fresh, and very clean. Our room was new, spotless, and comfortable for the whole family. We stayed with our two children and it worked perfectly.

The kids especially loved the breakfast! There were so many great options (including warm gluten-free baguettes and croissants!), plus delicious churros with melted chocolate. Such a nice touch.

The service was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Puerto Banús.

Beautiful hotel with nice clean and cozy rooms. Our room had a huge bed and everything was clean and modern. The staff at the reception, the breakfast restaurant and the La Dolce Vita restaurant were great, super professional and polite. Me and my wife had a great vacation here. There is a lot of places to visit and see nearby, many restaurants, the beautiful and luxury port and a lot of shopping options as well.

The location is excellent, very close to the pier and luxury shopping district, but it's a bit too close to the highway, making it slightly noisy at night.

The hotel has a very convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from the shopping street, and there's an open-air bar right outside. The rooms are quite spacious and well-equipped. Good value for money.
