The room has a slightly unusual shape, but it wasn’t an issue at all for a solo traveler. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient, especially for hopping between nearby tapas bars.

Great location across from the sea and walkway. In Old Town with all the history, shops, restaurants, bars and lots of Pintxos! Staff was very nice and arranged a taxi for us for an early morning ride to the train station. Room was great with a wonderfuk shower and fluffy towels!

Quaint, old fashioned little hotel, great location on a quuer street across from beach & near funicolure. But noisy inside, walls are paper thin, plumbing was loud & rattling as was fridge in my room & curtains were covered in mould.

They don't guarantee parking, but we were able to park in the driveway and leave the key with the staff, and they managed to move cars around and fit everyone in, which was great. It is always a great pleasure to return to this hotel when my work brings me to Bilbao. The rooms are clean and the staff is always very kind, willing to help. Walking down to the city is quick. The only thing I regret is that the breakfast starts at 7:30, which is a bit late for us.

We were here for just one night, and didnt see much of the area around, as we used our time in Bilbao city. To start with the positives: The price is good and the rooms too. There was tea and boiler in the room. Free parking. Negatives: The walls are paperthin so our neighbor coughing all night kept us awake. Its a long way from Bilbao city center.

We stayed in the Amsterdam room which is beautifully decorated and furnished. We stayed 3 nights and were very comfortable in this spacious room. The location is cental to the sights and we were able to walk everywhere. We will stay here again and strongly recommend it.

You get a room smack bang in the centre of the old town which is great, however it seems very much set up for couples so if you're travelling with a mate like I was, you may consider somewhere else. This place is a hidden gem! Right in the middle of Old Town….surrounded by restaurants and bars…super comfortable bed, wonderful shower, and the reception staff were always ready to help. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again….

I just went there for a coffee while i was waiting for the train to arrive. Nice coffee in a cafe with some charm, old style but it has everything that is expected to have. Clean toilets.

Great location right on Playa Zurriola. not central but a very pleasant seaside walk gets to the old town in about 10~15 minutes. My room was great, but had some missing baseboards and some pieces of the flooring had separated and collected some junk in the cracks. Hardly a fatal flaw.
