Very helpful staff helped me plan my visit in Bilbao.
Hotel is nice and staff was great. Excellent water pressure in the shower! Close to old city and many attractions. The unfortunate part is that there are many pickpockets about and you must be constantly vigilant.
Location The area where the hotel is situated, is a bit rough and ready, but the people are open and friendly and it wasn't a problem.
Best in Bilbao A really comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel was quiet and well placed for the city. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.
Great location. Despite only a 3* hotel it's great and the staff are very helpful and nice. Very clean and comfortable. I was on the 7th floor and was lucky to have a balcony which was bonus in the morning and evening.
People are incredibly friendly and rooms are clean and comfy. We went on winter and there was plenty of hot water and heating. Location can’t be better: 2 minutes from casco viejo. Great value for money

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. We were just passing through and arrived at midnight. The concierge went to the kitchen and made tapas for us even if the kitchen was closed because we mentioned we had not had anything to eat yet.
Receptionist friendly, large room and bathroom, spotless clean. Breakfast +/- 8 Euro worth every Penny! Taxi from San Sebastian nearby about 10 Eu Would go back any time.
Really lovely. There is no bar or resturant at the moment which is a bind if you are on foot like I was, but hotels with both are around without having to go too far. Sea views from some rooms and pleasant garden views from others. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Great walk into town, a bit tougher on the way up but the route is serviced by 2 buses.
Perfect little hotel high on a hillside overlooking the sea. If you're a fan of modern design then it's not for you, but it's quiet, clean, comfortable and has really friendly staff. If you have a car and don't want to be right in San Sebastián city centre, I highly recommend this lovely independent hotel.
We stayed at the pension two nights. The room was clean, we had something like a junior suite for 135 Euros per night w/o breakfast (8 Euros). Breakfast could be better. Friendly staff at the reception, good room service. Nice ocean view from first and second floor. Bus no. 16 leaves from station about a 3 min walk down the hill, takes 5 min to Ondarreta beach for 1,70 Euro. Surrounding is rural with...

The room was with the sea view, clean, the beds are cost and comfortable . The night view on the town is picturesque!
Great location and staff! Loved our stay. Wonderful staff and location and the bed was so comfortable. My mother said their coffee was the best she ever had.
Very comfortable hotel with stunning views overlooking San Sebastian and the Biscaya.
Lovely old hotel, comfortable with all expected mod cons. Staff friendly and helpful.
Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. But food in the evenings is limited choice with only sandwiches, burgers and salads on offer. and pretty poor quality too. I ordered a chicken salad and was served a plate piled high with dry and tasteless lettuce only with no sign of chicken whatsoever. I sent it back, they never offered to change it and I refused to pay. They accepted that it was not good. They...
For a four star hotel we expected more. The room smelled like cheap room spray, it smelled awfully. In the morning people were constantly moving chairs, we could hear everything, it was extremely loud. We wouldn’t go again.

The flower boxes need to be freshened...old plastic and dead plants aren't inviting. The toast for all the breakfast choices was way too hard to eat...like stone. Don't toast the bread!!! We stayed 6 nights and tried them all. Also, don't mix all the cereal and yogurt and fruit together in a big mess. All the ingredients should be separate. The ingredients for the breakfasts were nice quality otherwise
Pleasant stay Hotel Donosti was very pleasant and ideal stop for us. It was great to have tea/ coffee facilities in the room.
Really nice clean simple hotel with good breakfast, free parking and good value.
Great little place in a quiet neighborhood. Walkable from the city center, or there's a bus stop 2 minutes away. The staff is amazing and the room was very cozy and clean. We will come back to this boutique hotel on our next trip to San Sebastián. Gracias!
Great location and lovely rooms. Breakfast options were plentiful.
Nice cosy atmosphere, welcoming and helpful staff. Private parking, nice breakfast.

The hotel located in the city center close to the big bus station. Room is clean and comfortable. All the receptionists are very welcoming and professional, Especially the two ladies Rocio and her colleagues are very friendly and patient . I really recommend this hotel 🍀
The hotel was lovely; clean and smelled great. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room itself was spacious and very comfortable with great amenities and bathroom. The location was fab - an easy 10 minute stroll to old town, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and minutes from the beach. Excellent value for money.
Excellent location to beach and old town dining. Clean and well designed room. Excellent nights sleep. Very happy with our choice. Offer free beach towels too
Excellent stay. Staff was super helpful. We arrived early and we were able to drop off our luggage. They texted us when our room was ready which was earlier than the posted check in. Location was excellent as we walked everywhere! Great stay!
This is a lovely and well located hotel, a short walk from the main ***** and the old town. Very quiet and well appointed clean rooms. Service excellent.
Second time I’ve stayed here. Hotel is modern, clean and the location is perfect, just a few minutes from the beach. Hotel staff are always super helpful. Looking forward to returning

Very reasonable hotel. Ideal for business stay. Good breakfast options.
Service: Mercedes and her younger female colleague were attentive and welcoming…providing good service. Their older male colleague was rude, abrupt and lacked customer service skills - at checkout he didn’t even look up from his screen despite me requesting his attention; instead telling me ‘wait a minute!’. Room: Not really dog friendly as the room itself reeked of chemical floor cleaner and needed...
I stayed at NH Bilbao Deusto early August 25 as it's fairly close to the port of Bilbao 21km. It's a very basic hotel with a small dining area for breakfast with no social areas apart from a small seated area around reception. Rooms and beds are comfortable with TV which has one English channel 'BBC news' , fridge and safe. Usual bathroom facilities with shower over bath. Good carpark in the basement...
Excellent hotel within walking distance of the city. Everyone was really friendly and kind. We asked to move rooms on the second night to get twin beds and they couldn't have been more accommodating. The man on reception even had to put up with all of us Spurs fans and he was joked along and joined in. He was great
This is not a fancy hotel, but it has been recently renovated. We got a fantastic room, relatively large with a terrace. We could not have been happier. And the location is ideal, within walking distance of the Guggenheim museum and the center of Bilbao.
Friendly staff, good location. Room was clean, bathroom has enough space. Convinient heating with air conditioning. Big wardrobe. A lot of options at breakfast. Room is not big. From hotel of such level we expected to have slippers and water, maybe bathrobes...

I felt myself very comfortable in the hotel. My room was quite, the staff were polite and helpful, the breakfast was many kinds of food. So, In San Sebastian this hotel gave me for my staying the fulness. :)
- Room was clean - Whole Service friendly - Check-in / check-out worked well as expected - Location a bit off from center, but still well connected to public Transport & also just a 20/25 min walk by foot - Great value for money
In our opinion, the hotel was in a good location. The bus stop is just behind it and it is only about a 10 minute ride (four stops) to La Concha Beach, and about seven stops to a very lively section of town with lots of restaurants. We felt our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. These are important things. However, the floor we were on could really use some physical upkeep. There are...

Given its location near Bilbao's city center and train station, it's a good value option. During my stay, I didn't experience the soundproofing issues mentioned in other reviews. However, the outdated room facilities were a problem; there were no power outlets by the bed, no hairdryer, and the bathroom had a bathtub instead of a shower, which raised concerns about hygiene.
Conveniently located hotel. Friendly staff. Great buffet breakfast.
parking is not included in the price, small parking lot 5 cars max but very close to tourist attractions, rooms with dirty walls, very poor breakfast
Lovely staff and big, very clean room
We stayed at this hotel for one night, without breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train and bus stations, close to the old town. Other sights are also within walking distance. We didn't use public transportation to explore the city, only taking the metro to the Vizcaya Bridge (which we used to cross the river). The metro, by the way, is also a 7-10-minute walk...
It's true that I was deceived by the photos! The room was terrible. The parking garage entrance was so small that my rental car was scratched. The facilities inside were very old, and the bedding was hard to describe. In short, this is the worst room I stayed in on my trip to Europe. I basically stayed in rooms in the 800-900 range, but this one was the worst. And the location is not very good. The...

Staff was helpful, and location was excellent. The common area is small and out of the way. Our room was clean but amenities were spartan. The pension felt a bit overpriced. Bilbao is worth visiting, not only for the Guggenheim Museum, but for the old town, the food, and Basque atmosphere.
Everything was great, the room was very comfortable and cozy. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We would definitely return. Thank you so much! :))
Very nice hotel. Rooms were spacious enough and equipped with a fan above the bed that provided sufficient cooling. Clean rooms and helpful, very friendly staff. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, and I was fortunate enough not to have a room facing the street.
Located in the heart of the city's old town. Very charming, right outside Church Street. An Uber from the airport is 25 euros, and the train station is a 10-minute walk away.
Excellent solution, but too expensive

Calm and lovely clean hotel. My only downfall would be not having reception available 24/7 and not sure about rest but my bedroom had no balcony. I do underetand they might have bedrooms with balcony, but in this day and age every hotel bedroom should have one
Good value & good location. 15-20 minutes walk to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Which in my opinion is perfect, especially at times when you have just eaten a big meal and need a little walk off time! Has many supermarket options close by (a few less than 5 mins) which are useful for grabbing drinks & snacks before a siesta. I think for its price it’s very fair, it’s a nice modern well located...
BYPILLOW Irala is basically fine. It’s convenient that you can store your luggage in lockers upon arrival, which is handy if your room isn’t ready yet. However, the reception has rather odd opening hours, making check-in and general inquiries a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside is the price – €160 per night was completely unjustified for what’s offered. At that rate, you would expect more comfort...
Too many stairs no lift room very tiny. Thanks to the reception guys who help us to take our luggage to our room, otherwise we can't make it. Location walking distance to public transport.
The hotel conveniently located close to the center, to the grocery stores, in a relatively quiet street. My room was tiny, but had a refrigerator. I think the hotel is overpriced though.
The location is clean and quiet. The ensuite bathroom lacks heating and there's a bad smell coming from the shower drain.

The stay was nice. I'd have to say that the Hotel could benefit from some additional services. It's hard to imagine that in this day and age, there isn't a single vending machine. Good hotel in a great location, ten minutes walk from the Old Town, but with great transport links via Tram over the Zubizurri bridge.
A wonderful hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Even though we arrived well before check-in, we were able to shower and freshen up after our journey, and then immediately set off to explore the wonderful city of Bilbao! The Guggenheim Museum is just a short walk away. The breakfasts were delightful, and the coffee was delicious!

Great location right on Playa Zurriola. not central but a very pleasant seaside walk gets to the old town in about 10~15 minutes. My room was great, but had some missing baseboards and some pieces of the flooring had separated and collected some junk in the cracks. Hardly a fatal flaw.
Loved the location near the beach, such a beautiful place to see when you walk out thr door in the morning. The hotel staff can be loud in the morning, waking me up most days but overall, for the money, it was great value, comfortable (no frills) and I would happily stay there again.

Short stay in San Sebastián As we were driving we picked this hotel as it was near the motorway for our next journey. It was a 20 minute walk into town which was ideal for us. Also on a bus route which ran every 5 minutes. Also had underground parking which we needed as we could leave baggage in car.
Good hotel Good basic hotel with a great location for football. Pleasant, simple walk in to town and the beach.
San Sebastián The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom needed a facelift. The flush was half broken. The room was very hot and the AC didn’t work. We opened the window but the street was very loud with drunk men who woke us up with their screams.
Anoeta, a very good hotel. Very friendly and helpful lady on reception and had a map and guided me to where I wanted to go.
