There are other better hotels in Barcelona, so I won't be staying here again.
We were repeatedly assigned different rooms (lower-grade rooms and double beds) than the one we reserved (junior suite with twin beds). I had to go to the front desk three times to complain, but no apology was ever given. Instead, a man who seemed to be the manager came out from behind me, heard the situation from the front desk lady, made fun of our English, and told us to wait while they were preparing it. It was extremely unpleasant.
In the end, it took over two hours to get the room we reserved, but no apology was ever given. And when we finally got to the room, there weren't enough amenities for everyone. I put up with it because I didn't want to bother asking again, but I think they should have checked properly. I had high hopes for this hotel being a Marriott property, but it was a complete disappointment.
Hotel location: It is about 2 to 2.5 kilometers away from the main attractions La Pedrera and Sagrada Familia. It costs about 15 euros to take a local taxi or Uber to the attractions.
Hotel facilities: I woke up on the first day and found that the toilet was broken. The room I was given was on the first floor facing the street (note: it will be very noisy), and the soundproofing was average.
Breakfast situation: The same breakfast every day, very few items (not recommended)
