My recent experience at BCNSportHostels was quite satisfactory. The check-in process was exceptionally efficient, earning a perfect score. The staff demonstrated a commendable level of friendliness, although there is slight room for improvement. I found the quality-to-price ratio to be quite favorable, making it a worthwhile choice for travelers. I would recommend this hostel for its convenience and overall positive atmosphere.

I just had a wonderful stay at BCNSportHostels! The check-in process was super easy, I got my room right away. The WiFi was pretty good - just a small issue, but overall, I managed to stay connected. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Barcelona! I gave 3 stars because the person at the reception, the person with glasses was very rude and had bad manners, and the cleaning lady was aggressive with check-out. The guys, like the guy with the cap, were very nice and kind to the customers, and the guy from Bangladesh was very nice. Otherwise, the other person with glasses was not ok at all.

this is an extremely well kept hostel, with spacious rooms and good beds. Strong hot water, nice terrace, beautiful gym complex in the same building with discounted entry for hostel guests. Central heating and AC in each room.
The receptionists Marta and Carla are absolutely lovely, and the evening staff are currently very friendly and chill, helpful upon request and professional.
As a regular customer, have enjoyed my stay of late, and found the entire reception staff to be helpful and accommodating, as it should be.

I am a full time traveller and i can 100% say this is one of the worst hostels ive stayed in. I was here for 4 days and i couldn't wait to leave on day 1.
1. The rooms are TINY, barely space for people to walk side by side to their own beds let alone space for luggage.
1.5. When i arrived all the beds where taken in my room, and the receptionist (man with a black goutee) just walked in took someones shit off a bed and said "here this is yours now"... LIKE WHAT.
2. The wifi doesn't work. I couldn't get Wifi signal or Data reception from my room nor the common room. Only from out the front.
3. Dirty bathrooms. A handful of the toilets couldn't flush and were just left full with whatever the person before had for lunch.
4. the staff are SO RUDE! Me and my friend where standing outside the front door and got harassed by a passerbyer. Walked inside to reception for help, and he told us to stop being so loud and "who cares, he's fine" in a very 'get over it tone'.
Honestly, just book a the other hostels which are 1 or 2 euro more expensive, its just not worth your money here.

The check-in process was remarkably efficient, allowing me to settle in without any delays. Furthermore, the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and kindness throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Barcelona, as it combines excellent service with a welcoming environment.the room could be LESS CROWDED and 1 kitchen with 1 fridge is not enough for 360 people

Only my first night here supposed to have 3 more. I don’t think I have ever done a review before but this place is awful. the ac isn’t working and poor ventilation of the room makes it unbelievably hot. Bathroom,shower and sheets provided weren’t clean and smell also no hand soap provided? Which is a basic necessity, I haven’t had anything stolen yet like others but overall is not worth the risk and definitely not the price, if possible stay away and only come as a last resort.

This is my second time staying here. First time I stayed on the hostel side with my friends and had a great experience. We met so many great people and the staff was awesome. This time I stayed on the hotel side with my partner. Nico, Pame, and Umberto were absolutely amazing. We will definitively be staying here every time we come back to Barcelona.

Arrived later than expected which ultimately was my fault for not knowing the exact location. The staff were very welcoming and couldn't have been nicer to help me. Pamela is a legend and was extremely courteous in explaining how to get to my room and where all the amenities are, I would definitely recommend Generator for anyone looking to stay in Barcelona.

Good with a mix of older and younger people. I was on the top floor which was fairly quiet. Only complaint was the shower facilities which were often grimy but expected when they’re communal. I wish there were more private changing spaces. The location is perfect for central Barcelona and only a short walk to the nearest metro line. Overall I had a really good experience here. This is a great hostel! The staff are great, especially Jose and Guido! Jose was so helpful when I sprained my ankle, always making sure I had ice for it. The staff also made sure that I had extra pillows to elevate it. A great community of people who work here! Just wish the beds had surrounding curtains but otherwise great.
